Hello everyone! If anyone's been here long enough, do you remember the Battle Royal fanfiction idea I posted way back when that never really happened? This...Well, like that Romance RP topic, it seems that some interest has been given to it. So, I'm going to see just how many people would be interested in it first before I really commit myself to it. Since gaia only allows for one question voting, I have created a short survey (only 4 questions) for you to kindly fill out. If you're not interested at all with it, either say so in the "other" option, or just don't fill it out at all. Then, I shall make another survey at a later date for everyone to have a chance to decide what happens to characters if the voting option was chosen. Quote: why do we not simply let the guild members be the ultimate decision makers? we could put up a poll that askes who the want to win, and they post how they want them to win? Then, the move with the most tallies is the finishing blow, and the character with the most votes survives. It goes with out saying, that the ones with less votes die. we can clean out alot of unused characters that way and make the guild members part of the brawl. Also we can have a Hall of Champions, the top five or ten brawlers that dont fight to the death, but fight for the glory of being in the Hall. I suggest that we do five fighters in the Hall, if my idea even seems valid, and have twenty survivors fight for the right to be in it. please dont scoff at my idea, it was merely a thought. It's just four questions. Whether anyone fills it out will determine if I do this thing or not. If only two people do it, there's not much of a reason make another survey or anything.

Alright everyone, time for some good news / bad news but with good excuse.
Good news: I've left the poll open for about two weeks now and it's had five different responces. Honestly more people participated than I thought would. Either way, I'm going to tally everything up and place it in a new post over the weekend, if not tomorrow.
And congrats to Deadpool for getting all five votes. X3
Bad news but with good excuse: I probably won't start anything solid on it over the summer. Why?
Because I'm going to writing a childrens comic book and illustrating it if it is aproved. xd xd
Still don't have an inker or colorist so you won't be seeing it anytime in the near future. But hey, within the next year or so. And if it goes well, I plan on pitching my stuff their way.
So, anywho.... poll's over, I'll post the results as I get them all added up and stuff, get everything on it started, but it'll only get half the attention I had planned on giving it.

Alright everyone, here are the results, and the possible plan for everything.
Issue number 1:
Let it be a fanfiction, but have an active part in what outcomes will be for characters.
This had the majority of the votes. It was clear that everyone wanted to have some active participation with the story, but the way to go about it varied a bit.
Issue number 2:
Vote in polls on who I want to see battle who, and finishing moves. had the winning vote by one.
Have a private discussion or RP with the person in charge of my character's opponent. had votes as well.
Sooooo....I'm going to do both.
For characters that don't have someone who wants to be in charge of them, everything will be decided entirely upon voting.
For characters that have someone who wants more of a say in what happens to their character, then they will have more of a say so in what happens. If both opponents have someone playing them, they may have a private discussion or role play on how things roll out. Then everything will be adjusted to story format.
Otherwise, it'll be all up to voting.
Issue number 3:
How the whole story comes to be, that was fairly even as well.
The Gods and Goddesses of another dimension grow bored and form a tournament of powerful warriors. ....which, is the same thing as A new Council as corrupt as the last one, forces their planet's games to continue. So that's two votes for that.
Crazy Cat, being the good little plot device that he is, finds a way to create yet another alternate scenario. had two votes as well.
And there was one vote for Zera, which, honestly, I like as well.
Soooo, I'm going to combine all three since there was a bit of an even vote. Rather than remaking Sholeh's world’s counsel that had her go around collecting inactive characters to play in the world's "games", I think I'll turn them into judges of some sort. Say, if there's a tie or if a fighter refuses to finish the other off, they decide on what happens to the two warriors.
But...I'm going to let C.C. and Zera bring the world and everything into being. Since he made the whole Romance world, I thought he could simply help Zera make this one. That said, these two get first dibs on matching characters up, then the rest can fall on voting. They will also have final say if they really, really want something to happen to a character rather them getting killed off. They can also add characters as the story progresses if they choose.
Alright, now the fun stuff. These are the characters that ARE making an appearance. Because each voting section has an even number of characters in them, I'll probably have the first matches be within the voting sections. As in; characters with 4 votes will have to battle someone else with 4 votes for the first round. Then things will get mixed up a bit.
That is unless you all really, REALLY want to see a certain battle between two characters before one of them can loose and not get to fight again. I'll leave that up to a posting thing or something. I'm not going to get around to this anytime soon, so there's plenty of time.

Ah! I have seen. We now have 4 people who have voted. Most of the characters will probably have to have a new poll for them because they have such a variety in opponents. XP
A few characters have an opponent that was voted on twice...and a few have been voted on fighting themselves it seems. That should be fun. XP

Alright everyone! The polls are closed, and the results are in! Here is half of the line-up for the soon-to-come Battle Royal!
ROUND 1

There is still a Group Three and Four, but I thought it would be better to get half of these going now, and the other half later on.
Sooo….now it’s time for the fun part! There will be a NEW survey open for each fight. The main questions will be 1) Who should win. 2) How do they win / finishing move 3) What should become of the looser? (Killed in battle, given to winner to kill later, other…)
I’ll let you know now….two characters have already been chosen to win based on a fight someone wanted to see. So those matches questions will mainly be how they win and what becomes of the looser.
Of course, if someone who’s claimed the character wants to co-control how the fight goes, then the voting will kind of be void. They get final say in what happens with their characters after all.
