Edmund had decided to take Keiran on a picnic. Lately Keiran and Gavin seemed to not be getting along too well lately and Sun suggested since Kei seemed to feel left out by Gavin, that he spend some brother bonding time with Kei. Edmund thought it might be fun, he was growing more fond of Kei lately. With Sun's help they had packed a basket full of yummy picnic food and a blanket. It was a large old fashioned picnic basket which Edmund carried with one hand, with the other he held Kei's as they walked through the park to find the perfect spot.

Once they found a suitable spot Edmund put the basket down and started pulling out the blanket. "Hey Kei? Help me with the blanket?" he requested softly as he held out the ends for Kei to take.

Keiran responded with a grin. "Ok!" he took his end of the blanket and helped Edmund set it up. Once they had it settles Keiran went over to peek into the basket. Inside he saw an abundance of fried chicken, cornbread, some lemonade, sushi, salad, and what looked to be some form of cake. It looked like Mom had packed for an army rather then just Edmund and himself. "Oh it looks yummy!" He handed Edmund the salad and started on some fried chicken himself. "Mmm"

"M-momo... mummy saiz not to run off!!" he was exclaiming as he ran after her. He managed to catch to her as he stood behind her, looking to the two boys on the blanket eating their picnic. "E-ello ther.." he spoke softly, trying not to be rude. He grabbed onto Moira's arm lightly, a bit shy at never seeing anyone knew before other than his sisters and his brother. He blinked for a moment, looking over them as he noticed they looked kind of like them. But the boy in the cow print had wings. Lucian seemed fascinated but then shook his head. "Momo, yoo haz to inerduse yurself furst!" he half-scolded, trying to help her have good manners. "Mai namez Lucian." he announced as he smiled at the other two boys. His English accent was thick as he had a lot of trouble masking it since it was something he had acquired from his mother.

Edmund actually looked a little startled by the arrival of other children. He paused mid salad chew to peer at them with big brown eyes. They looked different like himself and Keiran, and the other children at the academy. He took a few more chews and then swallowed, hoping Kei would take the talking front like he often did. It wasn't that Edmund hadn't learned to be a little less shy, it was just that Kei seemed to genuinely enjoy meeting new people and doing the introducing. He did give a little wave though.

Edmund was quite right, Keiran did truly love taking charge of the meeting new people. He first grinned at Moira as she asked for food and then at Lucian as he arrived. As Lucian spoke Kei tilted his head a little to the side. He'd never heard an English accent before. It was strange to him, but he thought it sounded nice. "Hi! I'm Kerian, and this is Edmund. You can call me Kei if you want. Nice to meet you both." he patted an empty spot on the blanket. "You should join us! And yes, you can have some food. The vegetarian food is for Edmund, cause he doesn't eat meat, and the sushi is mine, but you can have a little of that too if you want!

If Edmund had been a little startled by the arrival of Moira and Lucian, he was alarmed by Kira's grand entrance. She was very....energetic, and loud and...bright. He froze again mid bite and stared at her, totally unsure of how to react. Yes, Kei could handle her too. He hoped so anyway

Even Kei looked a little surprised by Kira's antics. It didn't take him long to recover though. "Uh, hi!" he returned her smile with one of his own. "What's your name?"

Lucian smiled as they were invited to join the two other metas in their picnic. He took a seat next to Moira as he then stared at the new brightly colored girl with a worried look. He wondered if she was okay but figured she would have called out if she was hurt. He stood back up and walked over to Kira and offered a hand to her. "Ello ther, Mai namez Lucian. Are yoo okay?" he asked, smiling at her. He was always taught to be polite to girls as best he could. If he hadn't come to her aid, even if she needed it or not, he feared his mother would give him a good reprimanding.

Yes, Edmund was definitely glad Kei was taking the lead on this one. Kira seemed to be quite the opposite of him. She was loud to his quiet, hyper to his slow and steady pace, super outgoing to his shy, and colorful to Edmund's black and white coloring. Well could only assume she was every color of the rainbow, she was certainly all the colors he could see being colorblind. He had no doubt that some of the colors he saw as the same were actually different. As Kira snapped the picture Edmund looked totally alarmed. No, he had no idea how to react to her at all. He dropped his gaze down to his salad and poked around in it a bit.

Keiran on the other hand wasn't really that unsettled by Kira's actions. He even smiled at the camera as she took the picture. Well, he DID absolutely love having his picture taken, so he really had no good reason not to smile. "I'm Kei!" he placed his hand on his chest to emphasize his point before pointing to Edmund. "That's my big brother Edmund." He started reaching into the picnic basket so he could hand some food to Moira. "Me and Edmund were having a picnic you see. Then Moira and Lucian came to join us!" He explained as he handed over some fried chicken to Moira. "If you like, you can join us too! There should be enough for you to have some too."

Lucian toddled back over to the blanket and sat back down next to Moira. He had a pleasant smile on his face as he watched his sister eat. Anything that pleased Moira, pleased him. As he looked over everyone at the blanket, he was disoriented by the flash of a camera as Kira took the picture. Lucian blinked for a moment before his eyes adjusted back to normal. He simply sat and stared off for a while, thinking about the situation of the day before the smile came straight back to his face.
