Everyone keeps sayin that TNA is gonna beat WWE or everytime TNA does something someone always says something about WWE. TNA isn't tryin to be better than WWE they just want to be another good Pro-Wrestling TV brand

TNA is trying to beat WWE for if they can topple WWE which is the big overlord of wrestling then they can claim that they're not a WCW ripoff which they are anyways.

Vantias_TheDark TNA is trying to beat WWE for if they can topple WWE which is the big overlord of wrestling then they can claim that they're not a WCW ripoff which they are anyways. correction. WCW ripoff with WWE rejects lol. seriously though.
People compare the two brands because TNA outright push themselves as the competition, reel in old WWE guys and then openly mention their past with WWE and their pasts.
if TNA would stop focusing on WWE and the former WWE guys, TNA could definately compete with WWE, however to do this they need to expand as a company, iMPACT often has less than 3'000 in attendance whereas WWE tapings at a low is minimal of 15'000. TNA dont push themselves to break boundaries they stick to small arenas and stick to the advertising in the hope that throwing some formerly big names out there will bring in viewers, TNA need to expand their horizons to be able to really compete. Hogan & Bischoff have been a good start giving TNA more of a concrete wrestling base to it and giving some talents storylines that could be worked with. what TNA lack is consistency in storylines and the belief that the storyline build up has any true purpose. good example being D'angelo Dinero's title shot. besides getting it, where leading up to it did he really even have ringtime with Styles?
The reason the two are compared is because they are the two "Mainstream" brands, the stereotypical overlord in WWE with the underdog in TNA. unfortunately at this moment TNA are punching above their weight and its a matter of time before they get knocked out.

I dunno if TNA can be considered mainstream with it's ratings in America Mortician! Sure, Impact beat all the WWE shows here in the UK but that's down to WWE shows being on a paid subscription channel!

Cartwright I dunno if TNA can be considered mainstream with it's ratings in America Mortician! Sure, Impact beat all the WWE shows here in the UK but that's down to WWE shows being on a paid subscription channel! i only class them as mainstream as they are concidered the only true competition to WWE. ratings over here (uk) dont really count as we only really get PPVs and Monday Night Raw live of all the wrestling shows lol

i would compare TNA to WCW but not in the good ways i mean i loved WCW back in the day they had good storylines and honestly goldberg was one of my fav wrestlers when i was a kid now that im older i look back and when WCW tried to go hollywood thats when it all fell apart i mean cmon now why give an actor the world heavyweight title? the same people responsible for that mess are in TNA right now and well i see it heading to the same door soon enough i mean you shouldnt have the loons running the looney bin

TNA says every week that they plan to be the number one federation out there, plus they always make blatant remarks having to do with WWE. Not to mention they employ a shat load of ex WWE talent.
When they move to larger arenas they'll be a contender.
