The night was a bit chilly for the beginning of summer, and Adira Perses pulled her stylish trench coat closed, doing up the big buttons on the front. She'd been warned by people not to go out late at night, but there had been a show she'd wanted to see. It had been fairly well acted, and it had also included dinner. The show itself was in one of the mid-class neighborhoods, nothing as sketchy as the theater district. However, in between the Fairview Stages building and her apartment was a rather seedy neighborhood. Her heels clicked loudly on the pavement, and she tried to soften them a bit. The street was eerily quiet, and the girl didn't want to attract undue attention to herself. Adira hoped she could handle herself if something were to go wrong, but there was a nagging feeling in her stomach that said it would be out of her control. If there was one thing she hated, it was feeling out of control. She vaguely reminded herself to find a self defense class or something. Maybe even mace? There were lots of different options, and Adira wished she had one of those options now. As she rounded another corner, something was wrong. Granted, she had walked to the theater when it had still been light out, but she didn't remember this block at all. It was tight and narrow, cramped on the sides by apartment stairs and trashcans. There was a street sign up ahead, and Adira went to check it. The reflective green signs read '3rd Ave S and 14th Street'. The girl sighed; She had indeed taken a wrong turn. Adira had made sure to look at all the streets when she had come to the show, and it seemed the cross street she needed was two blocks to the right of where she was. The out of place girl rounded the corner and headed to her actual path home, wishing now that she'd just called a taxi. After tonight Adira was going to make arrangements with their town car driver to be at her beck and call in the city, just as he was when she lived at home. There was something to be said about exploring the city, but Adira would prefer to do her exploring in the daytime.

Today was the day. Sassolite had been going after men and only men ever since she was recruited to the negaverse. She had toyed with the idea of going after girls but you couldn't just flirt with any girl and that made her life more difficult. If things were easy she would be able to flirt with any girl and have them falling at her knees begging her to take their star seed.... ah if only.
Sass hadn't the slightest idea where to go to find girls. She knew the general hang out for the creepy guys trying to perv on girls but the girls, she hadn't the slightest idea. Maybe it was luck when she heard the footsteps and spotted a girl looking rather lost? Sass didn't believe much in luck though and wasn't about to let this opportunity go either. She came up with a quick story and thanked who ever it was that clothed them for a rather normal looking uniform.
"Erm excuse me!" She ran up to the girl trying to work out roughly how old she was. "I think I have got lost and I really don't know where to go... I have moved here recently and should be starting school soon. I live near a school and I can't even remember the name of it. I am so sorry... I just don't know what to do!" Of course she was making it all up and putting on the innocent lost act she had done several times before to ugly men who were now well and truly buried. Maybe this girl could go and join them in their little burial site...

Adira's heart went up into her throat at the sound of someone approaching, and it started pounding even more when the person started talking. She whirled on her heels, looking about for whom ever it was that was speaking. She was set on ease by the sound of another girl, who couldn't be much older than herself. She smiled softly at the other girl. "I'm a little lost myself, to be honest. There are a few schools that you could live by- Crystal Academy, Meadowview, Sovereign Heights." She didn't include Hillworth because to her knowledge, no one really lived near there. "I think the street I need to be on is up ahead though- you're welcome to walk with me?" After all, lost girls in Destiny City should stick together. "Maybe you'll see something you recognize." She shrugged a little, before moving forward a bit, hoping the other girl would follow. It was less scary than walking alone, even if she didn't realize that what she should be scared of was standing right next to her.

Sass tried to look thoughtful as the girl mentioned the schools as if she were trying to remember.
"I really can't remember..." She did her best to look slightly confused and then smiled when the girl offered for them to walk together for a bit. Perfect! Maybe catching girls wouldn't be so hard after all.
"Thank you! How come you are out here on your own anyway?" Sass would get as much information out of the girl as she could. She then had a plan on how to get the star seed, it just took a little bit of time and a little acting. It would be easy enough and then she could bury the body and look for someone else.

She was thankful when the other girl started to follow her. The neighbor was still a little shady, but it seemed safer with someone at your side. Hadn't they always said to stay in groups because you were less likely to get attacked that way? Adira hoped so, at the very least. "I've never lived in the downtown parts of Destiny City, only on the outskirts. So I've been trying to go out and do new things; tonight it was dinner and a show at the Fairview Stages." She gestured back with a flip of her black hair. The girls heels continued to make muffled clicking noises against the dirty pavement beneath her. "What are you doing out?" After all, the girl had asked her. It was only fair (and polite) to return the question. Other than that Adira didn't really have much desire to give stranger, female or not, more personal information. She could blame her Father on being suspicious- he'd always told her to be suspicious of everyone. It was strange really. Almost surreal. The girl shoved her hands into her trench coat pockets and continued walking. She did take the chance to look at the other girl out of the corner of her eyes. Based on her outfit, it almost seemed like she had been out clubbing or something. Her dress was cute, and Adira liked the patterns on it. It was her ensemble plus the fishnet stalkings though, that made Adira think she was out dancing. Most people didn't wear fishnet stockings on a regular basis, unless you profession warranted it (see: hooker...and Adira really hoped she wasn't walking with a Lady of the Night).

Sass listened a little annoyed with the lack of information but not everyone was useful.
"Oh cool! I was suppose to meet some friends to go out for the night but I think I got lost so decided to head home and managed to get lost again." She smiled and shrugged before laughing a little. "I always get lost, it's silly really." It was a well rehearsed excuse she had used on guys before. Sass had plenty of them that she could use when she needed to.
As they carried on walking Sass was watching the ground and when she was sure the other girl wasn't looking she 'tripped' and landed on the ground.
"Ouch!" Sass pushed herself so she was sitting on the pavement and held on to her ankle. "Ow it hurts..." She kept her head down and tried her hardest to make it look like she was in pain. If the girl would just help her up now then Sass would have the perfect shot at getting her star seed, after all Sass was stronger.

It was pretty uneventful, until the girl next to her biffed it. She was a little confused at how the girl managed to do in in flats on fairly smooth concrete, but Adira just chalked it up to not everyone being so graceful. In her opinion, all of the unbalanced masses needed to do more yoga. The girl kneeled next to the girl in apparent pain. "Are you alright?" She scooted a bit closer and tried looking at the other girls ankle. It was hard though, considering the other girl had boots on though. "You probably shouldn't try to stand- if you've sprained it, it will only make things worse." Adira didn't know a lot of first aid, but she knew enough- keep your shoe on, don't stand, go to hospital if it became swollen. Unfortunately for the Lieutenants plan, Adira didn't really make any moves to help the other girl up. She was however, on the ground in a position to be toppled over. "Here, I'll call a cab for us. It's what I should've done in the first place tonight." At least she would be having the opportunity to help another person out. That was at least something. Her light blue eyes turned away from the girl, instead focusing on fishing her cellphone out of her purse.

Sass was annoyed that the girl didn't offer to help her up in the slightest and was somewhat annoyed that girls really were more awkward then guys. However she did notice that the girl was crouching down and that was at least something. As the girl turned away to call a cab Sass smiled. At last.
She jumped on the girl, she wasn't bothered about how much of a fight the girl put up, Sass would win. She always won, against humans anyway. Senshi were something else and she hadn't successfully beaten one of them yet, not something she would own up to.
"Right then girl... any final words before I let you sleep for eternity?" Of course Sass still had to play, she couldn't just kill someone without having any fun.

Late night patrol SUCKED.
Yet Miss I-eat-anything-and-everything-********* had insisted that they go out tonight. They had been in the middle of a basic patrol when all of a sudden, ********* seemed to perk up.
"A Negaverse agent is close," she uttered before giving firm directions on how to get to the Negaverse minion. It was a rather fortunate thing to have a mental radar that could pick up on the Negaverse agents, even if it only worked when they were about to do something bad.
As they rounded the last corner, ********* directed the girl carrying her with very specific instructions. "Use the Rainbow Ribbon only, do not use the Slicer, and do not fist fight."
"What?! That's bullsh*t!!!" There was that temptation to drop the cat on her head right now, but as she saw, there were two people ahead of them. One looked a lot more like a Negaverse bum, but to make certain she was doing this right, the senshi asked "...which one?"
"The red-haired one. And... give me to the dark-haired girl."
That was a strange direction if Iris had ever heard one. With her free arm, she tightened up a fist which glowed lightly before calling out "Iris Rainbow Ribbon!" From her hand, a pale rainbow shot out, hurtling in the direction of the redhead. At the moment, the only intent seemed to be to separate the Negaverse agent and the civilian.

Adira landed on her back with a soft 'Oh!'. The first thing on her mind was the fact that her coat was getting dirty, and would need to be dry cleaned again. The second thing that hit the girls mind was 'WHY THE HELL DID SHE JUST TACKLE ME?!?!' It seemed like a pressing question, but in the meantime, Adira stared up at her tackler dumb founded.
"Why did you do that? And why are you sitting on me?" Perhaps the girl had escaped from some kind of mental institution? It would explain why should couldn't remember where she lived. And also why she had just tackled her out of nowhere.
"What do you mean sleep for eternity?" She was a little weirded out (note: the understatement of the century), but Adira didn't really see the girl sitting on her as a huge threat. It didn't seem like the girl who was no bigger than herself could kill her, and the black haired girl wasn't sure why the other girl would want to kill her.
"Look, I don't care what mental institution you came from but-" She didn't get a chance to finish her sentence. A rainbow interrupted her.
Wait... a rainbow?
Adira blinked her eyes a few times, but the pale and shimmering rainbow wrapped around the girl that was (still) sitting on her was still there. "A...rainbow? What the hell?" All niceties were dropped. This situation was just too bizarre for them to be necessary. She twisted as much as she could, and earned a view of a girl, dressed up in the most ridiculous costume comprised of white, pink, and gold frills. And she had a cat with a cast on its leg. Or at least, what Adira assume was a cat.
"Who are you? And did you just throw a rainbow at me? Are you supposed to be Lucky the Leprechaun Ribbon Dancer or something?" She was freaking out. Or at least, Adira's version of freaking out, which included talking fast and giving the weirdest looks she could muster. She was also doing other socially taboo things, like not thinking before speaking. Clearly, the Rainbow Ribbon Dancer was probably not someone she wanted to offend. She might get some hearts, stars, and horseshoes thrown at her. Adira started laughing. "I'm going crazy."

Sassolite rolled her eyes.
"Why because I am going to kill you.... you have this star seed and I am going to take it." She wasn't going to explain anymore, what was the point? She was sitting on the girl and it wouldn't take too much effort to reach in to her chest, at least it wouldn't have if it wasn't for something slicing through them and knocking her backwards somewhat.
Sass got on her feet pretty quickly and turned to the senshi, the girl was already forgotten. Star seeds were so much better when they were from a senshi. She summoned her rather crappy bow and arrow. She usually fought without it but today she wasn't going to risk it. That attack, she didn't understand it but it was bright and hurt Sass's eyes somewhat. Maybe she should carry sun glasses on the odd occasion other senshi hurt your eyes this much!
"Right then lets get this started senshi." Sass was ready to fight and it was only then she noticed the cat. It had to be a guardian cat, what other cats would there be running around with a senshi? Oh Nealite would soon have better things to say if she brought back a cat. Sass just had to deal with the senshi first...

Sailor Iris was not going to waste any time. She had managed to stop at least one more starseed theft in the city. Hurray for small victories. She could celebrate later with some sleep.
For now, she pushed herself up in front of the dark haired girl and literally shoved the gimpy guardian cat in her arms. A scowl easily found its way on the blonde's face at the interesting nickname. It made no sense (Iris was 6 foot tall in these boots) and was just stupid. "Look kid... take th'cat and get yerself someplace safe!"
Her one hand had still been tightened in a fist, and the trailing ribbon of colored light lingered along the concrete. It didn't look like anything threatening, as it shouldn't have. It was the weakest attack she had. Practically harmless. Before she bolted in the direction of the Negaverse agent, she shouted "Go on, GET!"
Well, hopefully this girl was good at following directions. ********* could only hope that the unawakened Sailor Perseus was a quick learner.

Kill her? The little red-headed girl from the mental ward was going to kill her? Man, things just kept getting stranger and stranger. Adira vaguely wondered if she'd managed to fall down some kind of rabbit hole. She was relieved, however, to feel the weight of the other girl leave her chest. Her lungs could fully expand now, and she could get up off of the disgusting street. It was the small things that counted. Adira still had no clue what was going on. Rainbow Ribbon Dancer still had a grip on her possible attacker, but she was getting closer to her. The girl scrambled up onto her feet, looking a little scared and lost at the same time. And the next thing she knew the small cat was being shoved into her arms. The little thing had a star on its forehead, and a cast on its leg. Adira didn't drop the cat, that would be cruel. The first thought in her mind was that she was definitely going to have to dry clean her coat- it now was dirty AND had cat hair. Just terrible. The girls pale blue eyes stared at the cat for a little longer until Rainbow Brite shouted her out of her thoughts. "Oh, right." The girl held the cat in her arms and ran surprisingly fast given the height of her heels. It didn't take her too long to round the corner into a protected alleyway where she stopped. Adira stared at the cat. What was she supposed to do with another girls cat? She couldn't just take it home with her, and with its leg in a cast, she couldn't just set it down either. If the walls hadn't been dirty, she would have been bashing her head against one of them. Part of her hoped it was a dream, that she would wake up safe and sound in her loft apartment, snug in her silk sheets and none of this have ever happened. "Well, what am I supposed to do now?" She looked down at the cat, like it had answers for her. Which, was ridiculous, seeing as it was a cat. Cats didn't talk. But then again, Rainbow Brite didn't show up to throw around rainbow ribbons at crazy girls who wanted to steal whatever starseeds were. Apparently, anything could happen in Wonderland Destiny City.

Sass watched the cat, her eyes didn't leave the cat which was a bit stupid when a senshi was running towards you but she noticed in time to move, though not quick enough. Stupid senshi.
"So who are you then? No fancy name or talk about how I am the bad one and you are going to kill me?" Sass tended to try and get senshi talking, it was her way of doing things. Get them talking and then attack when they weren't looking. She wasn't sure it was going to work with this senshi but she could hope right?
She held her bow and arrow and pointed them at the senshi well aware that they were the crappiest weapon in existence. Oh she couldn't wait to be promoted maybe then they would give her a decent weapon! She had to watch the senshi though, that ribbon thing had really hurt her eyes and she was still seeing coloured spots in her vision but she wouldn't let it show. She had to seem confident and ready. Oh if only she had beaten a senshi at least once!

The cat was haphazardly tossed into the arms of this girl, and naturally, she leaned and clung onto the dark-haired girl with her claws as best as she could. However, ********* tried to be considerate and stick to merely the clothing rather than digging into the skin under the cloth. Soon enough, she and this unawakened Senshi were in alleyway with pale blue eyes fixed on her for a bit.
The girl asked what she should do, and ********* wasn't about to leave such a question ignored. "Well, there really isn't too much time to explain right now." Her claws edged out slightly as her paws tensed, as if preparing for the girl to drop her in surprise. "And no, this isn't a dream, I am talking to you. My name is ********* and you need to help Sailor Iris."
Obviously, the girl wasn't getting a choice over the matter.
The yellow-suited Sailor Scout just stood there, body surprisingly relaxed despite being in such a situation. Her one arm just dangled to her side with that pesky rainbow ribbon just glowing dimly. The other was bent at the elbow, lifting a hand up for a lazy fighting stance.
"Ummm... lessee 'ere... why th' f*ck do ya care?" This pretty much answered all the questions which had been asked. Why would the Negaverser care about Iris' name? Why would the Negaverser care about Iris' objectives?
Oh, that's right, she was on the opposite side. A grin seemed to carve itself upon the tall blonde's face. "Ain'tcha got manners? Didn't even bother t'introduce yerself first before askin' my name."
