Faleen knew she had promised to help Kofuku with training today, but due to a recent mission… punishment, mission, she had to regretfully cancel with her.
Telling her the reason why of course, in an “I’m getting ready for a mission” details she left out, but knew Kofuku would come by wanting to know the story.
Currently in her room, looking over the paper that Seth had given her with the equipment her and the other Grunt were allowed, she had her bag out already, with a few of her warmer clothes tossed around her bed, trying to organize them.
Her pokeballs sat on the dresser next to the books that Hayes had let her borrow.
She looked a little disheveled; strands on her dark blond hair were frizzed up, constantly pushing the uncooperative locks behind her ear, only to have them fall back in front of her face while she tried to go over the list again.

The door was flung open and Kofuku strode in and crossed her arms. "Ok, I want the details; spill. Where are you going, why are you going, and you better damn well have some sort of person going with you because I know you're not fully healed yet..."

Faleen didn't even jump when Kofuku suddenly barged in, she did however lift her glance from the paper, and held a hand up to try and slow her down. honestly expecting this reaction.
grinning softly in amusement at her friend.
"I'm going to Sky peak to find a backpack that was lost, I'm going because I'm being punished, and yes, I'm going with another Grunt" she answered her question

"Ok, thank god... You better damn well not come back as a popsicle, got it?" Pausing for a moment, she snapped her fingers. "You can take Nina with you! You don't have a fire type, right?" It was a pretty safe bet that Nina would listen to Faleen; the fire type actually like Kofuku's BFF.

"Oh trust me, I intend to come back! there is no way I'm failing this one to." she said with a heavy sigh, dipping her head to the side. "huh?" lifting her head back up to look over at Kofuku when she offered up Nina for the mission.
"..." Smiling at her friend, clearly touched "thats very kind of you Kofuku, but I don't think I should, I'll have Umbreon and Shuppet with me."
Sighing, and pushing herself off the bed carefully, standing for a moment to let the pull pain swim away before she moved around her room to start organizing a few more things.
"I'll be going down to get the suplies I need from storage when I'm done here." putting her hand on her good hip she glanced around the room, her eyes falling on the two books on her bedside table
"oh! and I'll need to return those books to Hayes" walking around her bed to pick them up, looking over the blue cover for a moment. "can't forget that"

"I think you should, mostly because you have no idea how long you'll be up there. She'll at least be good for warmth..." She frowned a little when she saw the book. "Hey, what's that? You're taking them to Hayes?" Yes, she was very nosy in her best friend's life.

"yeah they belong to him" glancing back over to her as she picked up the second one, and placed them on the bed so she would remember them. "when I was still stuck in the hospital. game me something to do, but man... AI is some tricky stuff"

"Wait... wait just a minute here..." Kofuku walked over and sat down on her bed's corner. "You're telling me that he came in again while you were stuck in the ward... AND he gave you some of his books? Has he asked you out yet?" Leaning over, she rested her elbow on her leg and her chin on her hand, a small, smirking grin on her face.

Faleen got a perplexed look on her face what Kofuku basically recapped what Faleen had just explained. and conforming it with another slow nod.
but at the last question, she frowned in confusion "asked me out where-"
oh Kofuku had that grin on her face, Faleen suddenly understood exactly what Kofuku was trying to get at
"oh come on Kofuku, that -not- why he let me borrow the books." she said with a sigh.

"Oh come on, it's so obvious though! You're lucky, he's really cute too, you know. But, really, he comes and visits you when you're not feeling well, he brings you something to do while you're bored. He's really nice, and quite the looker...." Kofuku listed off her points on her fingers, then shrugged. "What do YOU make of this?"

Lifting her hands to press them to her forehead while Kofuku talked, then shaking her head and holding her hands out again, eyes closed for a moment as she tried to process this very strange information. "I don't Kofuku, look, we've got similar interests, he's a... strangely nice guy. just because someone lets me borrow there books doesn't mean anything"
at least to Faleen it didn't, she hoped it didn't! Kofuku better not be right!

"Oh, come on, Faleen! Wake up and smell the coffee! This guy totally sounds into you. It's like a romance novel, or one of them chick flicks! The question is what are you going to do with this information now?" Kofuku looked at her friend with a irritated expression; how could this girl possibly be so dense when it was spelled out so obviously?

Her mouth fell open as if to say something, but she didn't for a moment, looking more confused and shocked then anything else.
"nothing?" finally she spoke after that long very strained pause "really, nothing, Kofuku, I promise you, promise you, that its not like that. And even if it was, the answer would still be nothing, I've got to much to focus on in my training"
she explained, trying to make it clear to Kofuku that this wasn't something that she should think about anymore.

Kofuku gave Faleen a flat look. "Oh come on, you're going to make me go on? I mean, you don't even call him 'Agent Hayes', you've just been calling him 'Hayes'. How often did he visit you in there anyways? And what did you guys talk about? Did he make any remarks that could have been a little more than friendly?"
Frowning at her friend's comment of training, she went into her tirade. "You mean you don't long for the embrace of his, his warm strong arms wrapped gently around you as he whispers sweet words into your ears. And then, as he wishes you good night, your lips meet and the world around you melts away like ice in the spring."

Faleen was cut off, stopping dead as Kofuku continued trying to make her points, ones that Faleen simply placed to the side and dismissed as her friend being over excited about boys, like she usually was.
That was... until her last pretty descriptive comment.
Faleen hunched her shoulders a little, eyes narrowing softly though her face took on a slight pout, clearly not appreciative of Kofuku's encouragement, despite that, her face flushed a tint of pink, not exactly helping Faleen's position even though she was more blushing out of embarrassment that Kofuku would say that and frustration then she was at the imagery Kofuku was trying to place into her head.
"Kofuku!"
