The Concrete Lagoon is a collection of shops and eateries that share a cobblestone street of outdoor tables and chairs for afternoon shoppers to enjoy their lunches.
The scent of the ocean wafts through the alley.

*Scowls, finding the warmth from the sun to be more irritating than pleasant. Reaches up to brush his bangs behind his ear, the sea breeze causing his hair to billow around his face.*

*Smiles as she exits one of the small take-away restaurants, two fresh fish sandwiches and some unseasoned kettle-cooked potato chips heaped on a paper plate in her hand, two bottles of water slick with condensation in the other hand*
Oh, come on, Pyrate - that expression is ridiculous, just relax.
*Laughs as she sits down beside him, settling their lunch and taking one of his hands to brush his fingers over his sandwich*
We can't have our sessions in the office all the time, that would be counterproductive to a feeling of normalcy.

I could have found it by knowing where the plate was... *Continues to scowl, carefully grazing his fingers over the table until he can find a napkin to wipe his fingers with it.*
A place less...windy would have been appreciated.

Well *nibbles at her sandwich* it sweeps through this street, but it doesn't stay long enough to really experience it. It's cool and unfeeling.
Don't you feel like wind, sometimes? Cold, fleeting?
