HEY!!!
Im from San Antonio, and I just want to ask if NEone else is excited about 2010s Parade/ Fiesta Season?
There are so many events coming out in San Antonio for local HS bands.
1. April 20th: Rehearsals for Percussion, Colorguard, Herald Trumpets!!!!
2. April21st: Massed Band!!!!
3. April 22nd: BATTLE OF THE BANDS!!!!
4. April 23rd: Battle of Flowers Parade!!!!
5. April 24th: Fiesta Flambaeu Parade!!!!
This thread is just for all of us in the SA fiesta events to just joke about our past experiences, discuss who's going to be a chosen Herald Trumpet, Awards at the Battle of the Bands (after it happends), and all the other crazy stuff that we can think of.

Which HS in San Antonio?
biggrin I'm in the Northside (John Marshall HS ) so we had our Fiesta year last year. We placed third in the parade contest and our water wagon won first place Haha
We go back next year when I'm a Senior but I probably am going to be Drum Major so I won't march. Parade was fun though. The flute line got to stand by the Tubas and they're always talking and making jokes razz
I know that last year it was STUPID hot at all the practice and when we got back to school during 7th period we all had horrendous shirt and short tans and everyone was laughing at us all hard core.

yeah, the heat is probably the only thing that sucks about the parades and alll that. N, by the way, it doesnt matter what high school, just if uve ever been to the fiestas. 8^]
