There were two fish swimming in the stream. They danced around each other; one was the color of the sun, and the other the color of silt. They loved each other dearly, but still they twirled, never agreeing.

This happened every day. Every day, the honey-suckle would grow closer to the water, and everyday the songbird would see sharper. Eventually the plant was growing into the water, and the bird could see the two fish separately in their dance, and she was hungry.

The songbird swooped down to catch a fish, and she caught the silt-colored fish. A sweet trilling escaped from her beak, and she made off with her catch.

In his sorrow, the sun-colored fish thrashed about and was caught in the honey-suckle. It was a sweet smelling death.
