Many people go out for the Holidays, either to visit family or friends. And seeing as we don't all want to stay at Hogwarts over the Break this Thread is to RP your Christmas Break adventures! Please keep it clean and interesting! State where you're going on your first post and for fun change colors in between different characters if you want to have a conversation with your family. Remember to have fun!

Yami entered the empty mansion and let out a sigh "Home sweet home" as soon as she dropped her suitcase she ducked and blocked left "Hello to you to Walter" Yami grinned
"I see you've been keeping to your training" Walter said before giving her a 'regular greeting' "Are you enjoying your stay at Hogwarts?"
"Minus the nonstop drama it's not so bad" she shrugged "Im kinda upset Serenity couldn't stay over I wonder why. All I know is that Draco's not gonna be happy camper when he comes over to visit tomorrow" she winced "Walter make sure to remove all the irreplaceable things while he's here"
"Will do Madam."

((Place: Her own house.))
Kyrstin dropped her stuff on the floor as soon as she entered her home. She shivered a bit. "This place looks alot bigger....I feel awful that I coldn't stay with kingsly...But I think it was best I stay here..." She carried her stuff up the stairs and placed it in her room. She then ran back down stairs and outside. She brought in the fire wood and went about to setting up a fire in the fireplace. She smiled at the silence. Suddenly a knock came at the door. She looked through the key hole and saw David. She unlocked the door and let him in.
"Hello David." She bowed.
"Hello kyrstin." He muttered coldly. He took off his coat and scarf and handed it to kyrstin.
She put it away and followed him into the living room. "What are you doing here david?"
"Why do you think." He said solemnly.
Kyrstin looked down. "Would you like a cup of coffee?"
He noded and kyrstin walked down to the east wing, into the kitchen, and began to boil water.

"YAMI WHERE IS SHE?!?"
"How should I know she just left not telling me where she went!!"
*BAM*SMASH*CRACK*BOOM*
"WILL YOU STOP DESTROYING THE HOUSE DAMNIT!!!"
Draco turned around giving Yami a nasty death glare and pointed his wand at her "fulgor!"
"Oh s**t!" Yami ducked behind the couch before popping her head out "What the hell don't take it out on me!"
"Conglacio!"
Yami ducked again then jumped over the couch and pounched him "Ok that's it! Look I'm sorry she's not here but get over it and stop throwing tantrums like a big baby!"
Draco just glared at her more before sighing "Fine I'll stop...now get off me will ya!"

Arianna walked into her house, to be met by a welcome-home party. Her mom was crying. "I've missed you so much, I was so worried, there's been rumors flying everywhere, but you're here, you're safe!" She said, hugging Arianna so tightly that Ari was having quite a bit of trouble breathing. "Mom...I love you and all...but I can't breathe." She said, laughing. Arianna looked around for the only person she cared to see right now. She spotted her old best friend and broke down crying. "I'm so sorry, I've been so horrible, I can't believe you're here, I don't deserve you to forgive me."
"Ari, your cousin died. I know how close you were to him...I was too. I couldn't let you being upset over his death ruin our friendship. All is forgiven. I got your letter, and I understand." She said, engulfing Arianna in a hug.

Kyrstin sat in the kitchen,too afraid to go back to the living room. It was quiet till the kettle began to whistle. She stood up, poured the hot water into a silver cup and placed it on a tray with sugar and cream. Quietly she walked down to the living room with the tray. She entered the room and offered the contents of the tray to David. He added the cream and sugar to his coffee as kyrstin put the tray away.
"Kyrstin come here." He muttered
Kyrstin walked over to him and kneeled beside him. He petted her like a dog as he sipped his coffee.
"You are put into my family's care now. Which means you are put into MY care. Do you fully understand this."
She nodded quietly. "Father sent me word of this."
"Good. Then you must know I will be stopping by periodically to check on you. To make sure you do not become lazy or perhaps reckless."
Kyrstin remained quiet.

Ari took a deep breath. "Lyss, after the party, stick around. I have something...Something to tell you. It will explain everything, but...it'll be a bit of a shock."
Alyssa looked rather confused. "Ok...of course. Your mom invited me to stay the night anyway, and I was planning to, if you weren't too tired from the trip."
"No, not at all. I'd love you to stay. I'm just going to go put my stuff in my room, I'll see you in a bit." And she walked up the stairs, sitting at the foot of her bed. Her cat, Tigger, jumped into her lap and started purring. "TIGGER!" She exclaimed, hugging him tightly. She then took out her wand and just sat there, holding it and thinking. What was she doing? It was too late to back out now, but...this could be bad, but...well, there's always memory charms, she could have her mother perform one...She sat there arguing with herself until she realized there was a party downstairs that she needed to get to. She got up, put away her wand, and went back downstairs.

"Ok now that you're being civil do you mind telling me why you didn't tell me you had a crush"
"It was none of your business that's why"
"It is when it's one of my friends"
"How was I suppose to know that"
"You would've if you actually kept in contact" she gave him a cold stare
"I was busy you know how my father is"
"Not busy enough to write love letters" Yami muttered "Amazing how you forget about your friends when you're in love" she mocked
"You don't know what you're talking about" he glared at her
"I do very much so" Yami smirked "Serenity I love you very much and I miss you" she quoted one of his letters "Who knew you could care so much" she grinned pinching his cheeks
"Shut up Yami!"
"Make up" she said in a sing-song voice before getting pounced as both began to wrestle in the living area Good thing I told Walter to move all the irreplacable stuff she thought as she heard a vase break.

David continued to pet her and occasionally run his hand through her hair as they sat quietly near the fire. Kyrstin held no expression on her face and he held none as well. He stood up suddenly and set the coffee down. He headed towards the door and kyrstin quickly stood up and put his coat on then handed him his scarf.
"Goodbye, I will return again tomarrow." She bowed, opened the door for him, and he left. She shut the door and shivered.

"Well that was an interesting visit" Yami muttered examing her living room in ruins. Draco had left a little while ago as she let out a sigh "I swear that boy is too hot-tempered"
"He must have picked it up from you Yami" Walter stood next to her "Do I even want to know what happened here?" he raised a brow
Yami just shrugged "Not really you might wanna call the house elves to help you Walter, Draco did more damage than he usually does"
"I'll get right on it Madam" Walter replied as he set to work, he summoned the house elves clean the room as he began repairing the furniture
Yami left them to their work and went up to her room and decided to write a letter to Kyrstin
Dear Kyrstin
How is your holiday going? Mine well....let's just say I hard a rough start *grin* Hopefully you're having an ok time considering the circumstances at the moment. Reply back as soon as you can and don't worry I charmed this letter so it can only be read by you to others it will look like a black piece of parchment

Finishing her letter she attacked it to Jareth's leg "Send this to Kyrstin and watch out for trouble you hear" she chuckled when Jareth gave her a nod and flew off.

Kyrstin sighed heavily then turned to put away the coffee. An owl flew through the window. Kyrstin walked over to it surprised. "My oh my! I've never seen this owl before! I thought for sure that it would have been traded for a dragon." She took the letter and watched as the bird flew off. "It's from...YAMI!!!" She danced about with no coordination and opened the letter reading it quickly. "My, a rough start?" She took out a parchment and wrote. The Letter:To: Yami Mikasawa From: Kyrstin Umber Quote: Dear Yami,
Hello there! Rough start you say! Do explain! I just came up to my house today. Long trip i'm afraid. I live on large hill and I seem to be out of shape. I met lovely people on the train here though! One of them told me this really brilliant story about a beauty that was sleeping! It was so romantic! I haven't done much else really. It's so empty in the house without anyone here. The cook left I suppose. I hope the rest of your holiday is smashing! I also hope this letter reaches you for my mail service isn't particularly the best. Do write back.

Kyrstin Kyrstin walked over to where the small dragons were kept outside. She reached for one and it began to scratch her viciously. A bit of blood went on the letter. Kyrstin angrily grabbed the dragon and yelled at it. "YOU TAKE THIS LETTER TO YAMI OR I'LL BASH YOUR DAMN BRAINS IN!" The dragon glared at her and flew off.

Yami was listening to some music when a dragon flew through her window making her raise a brow "May I inquire why you're here?" she asked the dragon which caused it to huff before giving Yami a letter "Jeez crabby little thing aren't you." she muttered as she gave the dragon a treat while she read the letter "Interesting" she murmured before taking out a piece of parchment and responed
Dear Kyrstin
It's nice to see you're doing well and I believe the story you mention was Sleeping Beauty lol anyways what I meant by rough start is that an old friend of mines dropped by and well....left the living room in shambles. If you're bored why don't you come over to my place or vice versa.

Yami quickly rolled up the parchment and gave it to the awaiting dragon "Here take this back to Kyrstin" she ordered as the dragon glared at her and flew off.

Kyrstin yawned as she finished her cleaning. "God..What a long day.." The Dragon flew in and dropped off the letter again trying to attack Kyrstin. She raised her hand in a fist and gonked it in the head. "STOP THAT!!!" the dragon looked at her angrily but seemed to be behaving. She read yami's letter and smiled. The Letter: To: Yami Mikasawa From: Kyrstin Umber Quote: Dear Yami,
Hey! Was it really sleeping beauty? Oh so you've read it! Isn't it lovely! I wish I could have stayed on the train a bit longer to hear more stories. So Who was it that left the room in shambles? You have intresting friends Yami indeed. I can't come to your place I'm afraid because I'm to have a visitor tomarrow but your more then welcomed to come here. That would be Lovely! Hope to hear from you soon! And so glad you got the letter! As you can see this dragon is a big pain!
