Lucifel and Carina were simply minding their own business, doing their own things in their seperate lives. No where near each other.

Somehow, some way, this crazy orb that looks suspiciously like a giant bubble floats on over to you. No matter how you try to avoid it, no matter what you do to stay away (this is if you even try to stay away), it persistantly follows you! One way or another, whether it was your doing or the bubble's doing, it pops on you!

Suddenly, you're somewhere else! Is it a dream? Hum, maybe. Hey, who is that other person there with you? Wait a minute...where the heck are you?!



Looking around, it seems to be a plain white room with two moving, swirling spots of black on every wall. The only entrance and exit seems to be blocked by a giant troll. An apparently hungry troll; you can hear the grumbling of it's stomach, and occasionally it would moan out how hungry it was. It seemed it wanted cake! At least, thats what half of it's moans formed.

The portals seem to lead to different rooms. Every time you enter the portal, you enter into a different room! Every room has a cake sitting on a table; every cake looks the exact same, but they are not! Some of the cakes are fake, merely holograms, but some of them are real! Every time you exit from the portal room, you end up back in that room with the troll.

Find twelve real cakes to feed to the troll. After all, he promised to let you go once he's full!



Rules
---> Roll 1 20-sided dice with every post where you enter the portal to try and find a cake. Nothing bad will happen if you linger, other than not going home!
---> What the room looks like is entirely up to you, but the cake remains the same.
---> This is a dream, but they will remember it clearly, just like they had met for real!

Carina had just had had a bubble bath, had just gotten nice and clean and now for reasons she didn't understand a giant bubble was chasing her. " I"m already clean" she shouted back to it "I don't smell like fish anymore." That was extremely important because as fun as fishing had been the young girl had not been happy to come home smelling of worms and reeking of.. well wet fish.

Bath completed she'd ventured out into the hall onto to see the large, it was bigger than her, see through shiny thing floating it's way down the hall at her. We aware of how sticky and smelly bubbled could be and not wanting to play at this exact moment Carina ran from it with little success. It seemed with every step the bubble got closer and closer to the curio.

Just as Carina's hand closed around the doorknob for her room the bubble was suddenly directly behind her and bursting before she could get away.

The burst bubble was the least of Carina's worries when she realized she was no longer at home, or alone in this new place she'd found herself.

" is this your fault?" she asked the green haired girl nearby quietly. " Are you a magic leprechaun fairy thing?" Was she going to have to complete some sort of task to prove she was worthy enough to go home? That's how it always worked in stories but stories were fake and this was real and Carina was confused as all hell.

Carina hadn't had time to reply to the magical unicorn thing before the green haired girl had been off and jumping through some swirling black mass in search of cake. This was even weirder than that time at the shop and the time she dreamed Purple was the size of her house and eating everything! Still, being the grown up here, and not wanting to be alone with the troll, Carina had taken it upon herself to follow the strange girl.

When the cake turned out to be fake Carina got a bit nervous, what if they had nothing to feed the troll? She was distracted though a moment later by the other girl's speech? " Hmm? Oh that's nice" redheads were always cool, "My names Carina." She didn't know anyone named Tori, she knew a Victoria but wasn't aware that Tori was a short form for that name.

That said she gestured for the other girl to follow her back into the main room. The troll was there but they wouldn't he staying with it for long. Oh no, Carina was hunting more cake, picking another weird looking swirl to step through.

Carina allowed herself to be dragged into another room in search of cake by a girl she barely understood and knew. Still it wasn't all bad, at least the troll wasn't chasing them for cake or getting any louder or anything. "Maybe" she murmured and reached out tentatively to poke the cake in question. Thankfully her finger touched real sticky icing and didn't pass through. " Yes, this one is real" she cheered though the girl did wipe her icing covered finger off on her shirt becuase she didn't want the troll to want to chew her finger off either.

Holding the cake carefully Carina headed back through the portal "Who are you?" she asked the green haired girl finally realizing she didn't even know the other girl's name. As she spoke Carina slid the cake along the floor towards the troll, no way she was feeding it up close.

Carina had been pleased by the fact that the next cake was both real and that the smaller girl hadn't accidentally dropped it. " Lucifel is a nice name" she admitted as they headed back towards the gluttonous troll. " Do you ever get called Luci?" It seemed possible what with the way people loved to give out nicknames.

Once the cake was again delivered to the troll the redhead hoped through yet another portal and into a a room that was well it was sort of weird. There was stuff in it but all that stuff was floating. including the cake. "Be careful" she warned the younger girl as she tried to swim through the air towards the cake. At least she knew it was real becuase a hologram wouldn't float. Still the curio was revealed when she got her hands on the cake only to realized she had no way to move forward now and get back to the portal. This was not good !!

The cake in the next room proved to be false as well Carina's hand easily going through it much to her disappointment. "This is going to take forever," she muttered. The older girl looked down at Lucifel "Are you okay to keep going?" She didn't want to wear the toddler out.

Carina wondered if there was a pattern to the rooms in which the fake cakes had been found vs the real ones. Unfortunately she did not remember exactly what all the previous room had looked like. All the curio could do was press on behind and sometimes in front of Lucifel.

In the next room a sort of pleasant pastel colored land and in fit the redhead found a real cake, good since the Troll's grumbles had been getting loud as of late. She turned on one foot and handed the confection to the smaller girl "You take it too him." For all that she had longer legs for walking moving in and out of the portals was harder for Carina and a few extra seconds to transfer back to the main room would be appreciated.

Carina gave Lucifel a thumbs up and then headed towards an as of yet unexplored room in search of more real cakes.
