 Thantos had his ears flat as he made his way to his favor spot to star gaze. his tail was lashing about as he been aggravated lately with the constant run in's with the pride members. sprawling out on the rock he always perched on to sky gaze, he closed his eyes for the moment to try to relax in the cool night air.

Nicolieus had stuck around the area for a while. She had found some interest in a very white male leopard. Though, she'd never fully admit to herself that's why she was staying. She, if anyone asked, was still in this area because she liked it. Which wasn't really true. It was too hot for her during the day. She'd have to suffer through it to see the one thing keeping her here.
She had started back towards the rock she had first met him on. She hadn't been back there for a few days, she didn't want to seem like she was stalking him after all. She really wasn't the stalker type. It didn't take long before she saw a blob of white on top the gray rock. She wanted to sneak up on him, the night covered her well. Though, she really wasn't one for pranks. At least, she wouldn't jump on him.
She moved swiftly and quietly, and stopped just a few feet at the rock. She sat there for a moment, not saying anything. Just waiting for him to notice her. Her dark blue ocean like eyes, just kinda stared at him. She was curious about him, and that's what she did. Watched, and learned. Letting her mind fill in all the information she needed. He was a calm type, she figured. Not really knowing as much about him as she liked. Her tail tapped lightly on the ground as it was curled around her feet.

Thantos really was calm and collected even though earlier he had been aggravated. tail twitching every so often, he was almost falling asleep he was so calm that was until he smelt a familiar scent and heard a soft tapping noise. opening one eye, he was pleased to see Nicolieus again since it had been a while and had started to wonder if she had moved on to wander to some new area. " so you haven't run off yet i see."

It took him a lot faster to notice her then she figured it was gonna. She was prepared to wait a while, but seeing as she didn't have to she gave a slight yawn. "You're quiet good at noticing when someone is watching you." She said as if she didn't hear what he said to her. No, she hadn't ran off. She was, though, surprised that he even remembered her at all. She was certain she'd have to say something along the lines that they'd met a few days back.
"I see you haven't forgotten me. Perhaps I should have waited longer." She said as in a teasing way, but not too noticeable. It almost sounded as if she was completely serious with her tone. Which, wasn't hard to do. She could easily have a sarcastic conversation and make the other believe she was completely serious. It was one thing that was good about being her. "I wonder, do you blind creatures in the day if you lay on a rock like that letting the sun hit you?" She asked him curiously. She wanted to see him in the day. She wanted to see if his black had hidden markings other then the obvious white spots on them.

Thantos only noticed her so fast because of the fact he was never truly not on guard. " It's probably never a good idea not to be alert, even when relaxing." her next words almost shocked him but then he wondered if she was just toying with him by saying she should of waited longer before seeing him again. " if you waited too long then i probably would of eventualy forgotten you, but it would take quite some time." stretching a bit, it did take a lot for him to forget someone specially if they interested him. " i have no clue, maybe i should try it sometime when i'm out during the day time." in the day the scars on his white coat where more visible and he probably would seem even more gruff or the fighting type.

Nicki gave a slight flicker of a smile. "Made an impression on you, have I?" She asked him, again a slight tease. She didn't want to make it too obvious that she liked him slightly. That wasn't exactly how she went about this. Well, she wasn't really sure how to go about anything, she hadn't really liked anyone like this. "Not much of a day walker?" She asked him curiously. Of course the night was better, but she could do day or night. Just depended on her mood, of course.
She hadn't noticed any scars on him, though that'd do little to change her idea about him. Scars just told you the past was there, and there was no escaping it. Of course, sometimes that probably wasn't very good depending on the situation at hand.

"its possible you have." Thantos chuckled a bit before starting to walk by her. " at night i get left alone mostly so i tend to prefer it. but i have to say i enjoy your company over any one else i have come across." he wasn't exactly sure of his feelings for Nicki but he knew for sure that he enjoyed her company and would hate it if she ever just disappeared. "care for a midnight stroll?" stopping and looking over he shoulder to look at her to wait and see if she would join him.

He was more open then she could ever be. Which was another thing that interested her about this male. He seemed so nice, yet there was a darker side to him that she was determined to figure out. Something he kept secret, that she could feel. Something that he wanted her to know, yet didn't know he did. Of course, these were all feelings. She could simply just be thinking ahead of herself, and just hoping there was something more to him. "Well, I do say I am a bit flattered." She didn't know what else to say to that.
"If you care for me to join you, I don't mind at all." She said as she stood and started to walk towards him. Of course, he wouldn't have asked if he didn't want her to, so she just assumed he wanted her to. "Do you always go on strolls with strangers? Or am I just lucky?" She said with a slight tease to it.

Thantos for some reason was able to be more open with her than others. he always had a hard time ever being open or close to anyone. which was probably why he was always off alone or pretty cold towards others when meeting them. " you can say i'm not always too friendly with others." calm and cool, he tried his best not to let that dark, cold side of him show but it was just how he was. "do you often chat and walk around with strangers?"

"You could have fooled me." She said more honestly then teasing. He never seemed cold towards her, at least not that she noticed. Then again, she wasn't really one that liked to open up to others fastly. She smiled at him, which wasn't normal for her at all. She normally kept the same look upon her face. A curious yet placid.
"Yes, actually." She said with a nod. "If they prove to be interesting, anyways." She added. "Seeing as everyone has something to tell. Even if it's silent." She said with a nod. She could read others well. Maybe not as well as she thought, but pretty dang close.

"not very often you can find someone that can hold your interest or atlest thats how things are for me." Thantos had yet to find someone as interesting as Nicki and so he was uncommonly more open than usual. "so what would of happened if i had been dull and uninteresting?" smirking, he figured she would of went on her way instead of sticking around him.

"Well, anyone can be interesting." She said as they walked. "It's just seeing how far you have to dig into someone to find it." She said with a smile. She was more up for a challenge then for someone who had no secrets. "Well, I can't really say." She told him. She wasn't one to think on what if. "Anything could have happened, but the real question is.. What is going to happen that you aren't?"

" i suppose your right." Thantos had never tryed to get to know anyone or bother seeing if they where interesting if they didnt catch his attention. he usually just ignored others since he didn't want trouble and was always cold towards them. " hmmm that is a good question....."

"Well, What do you want to happen?" She raised a brow and looked at him carefully. She was wondering what he was going to reply to that. Curiosity was always her weak point. Always finding herself wanting to know more about a creature. The more hidden they tried to prove themselves, the more interesting she saw them. " Or have you figured that out yet?"

" i wonder if i should tell you or make you take a guess." Thantos had a sly smirk on his face as it seemed she brought out a sort of playful side of him out even if it was only a little bit. "what you would say if i asked the same question to you? what do you want to happen?" raising a brow, he eyed her and wondered what she would say to his question in return.
