Appearance:
Before anything else, Sano seems the type to laze around all day in a loosely fit uniform and wakizashi blade simply carried on the shoulder. It would be hard to imagine him doing hard work, with the way he carries himself, and how his robes seem to hang off more like a jacket than actual clothing. His dark hair is always kept short for minimum effort, and his eyes always seem to have rings of sleep around them, but with that quiet power flaring within his gaze, most people immediately shy away from his eyes, if only by instinct.
Once one peels back the sleepy demeanor and casual stance, however, that same quiet power visible in his eyes becomes much too apparent. Somewhere deep inside of him there is a soul capable of commanding respect from even the most noble, but most try not to delve so deep into an otherwise unimpressive individual.
Personality:
As his appearance suggets, Sano is lazy and disrespectful at a glance, with his real self down the road. In truth, he's a hard-working and clever individual, but often times, his failures frustrate him greately, and he ends up setting aside training and improving while he sulks. Sadly, this is more often than not, but if he is ever in the mood to really do some good, there aren't a lot that can stop him. Between the random flashes of lazyness and determination, Sano is known to be a guy with no social inhibitions, and can make friends with anyone, but this often comes across as a failure to respect authority.
Secretly, Sano is also extremely afraid of swimming, and will sink like a rock when introduced to water. Though he'll try to hide this from his comrades, it can be very embarrasing for him when it surfaces.
Accessories:
Sano has two pairs of earrings, but not a lot else to liven up his appearance.
Zanpakuto:

Kuro Koushitsu (Black Widow)
Spirit:
Kuro is capable of taking two forms: In most cases, it reveals itself as a clockwork spider, though a japanese woman with a black kimono and white makeup can also appear. Koushitsu is a deadly, often spiteful spirit that attempts to kill Sano without even speaking, but given his tendency to get frustrated and quit things outside of life-or-death situations, this could be the best way to strengthen him. Kou is very harsh towards her weilder, and will not give him full strength without a knowledge of his own efforts and care for her blade. In that sense, he will never obtain strength until he can offset his easily downcast nature, but she hopes that day will arrive sooner than later.
Unreleased: Wakizashi (short sword) As always, a Zanpakuto's length represents the weilder's spiritual strength, but one should not underestimate Sano's capability.
Shikai Command:
"Wrap the world in your silk. Hunt now, Kuro Koushitsu!"
Shikai:
Upon release, Sano is forced to shrug off the top half of his Soul Reaper uniform, to make way for two mechanical arms that come from his back. He now has two right arms and two left arms that work perfectly in conjunction, give or take some reaction time due to Kou's mood. On top of this, several hand-length needles can be produced from the mechanical arm's wrists, giving another layer of strategy to this unusual shikai.
Shikai ability:
No added abilities appear with his Shikai, save for the ability to fight with four arms and two hidden weapons. He has his own way of implementing the advantages his weapon grants, fighting as if he were a spider wrapping up its prey for the final sting.
Though no effects are compounded to the form, Sano is brutally efficient with his Shikai.
Bankai Name:
Kuro Amimono (Black Web)
Bankai:
Blades and extra arms dissapear completely, allowing Sano to once again don his robe propperly. Now, instead of the extra appendages, his black widow grants a mechanized armor on the two existing arms, easily hidden under the sleeves for maximum stealth. The arm's special armor is known to be able to resist regular Zanpakuto cuts, though its resistance to a special weapon is yet unknown. With these, six knives with thin handles are also produced, able to fit between fingers for an effective claw-like weapon.
Bankai ability:
Ikusen Kuro Ude is capable of creating thin, almost invisible strings of reiatsu from his hands, able to attach to any object he comes into contact with. Lengths as great as thirty feet have been observed from these strings, but since the length grows shorter as more are used, the true capabilities are hard to measure. The strings themselves are fairly tough for their thickness, once again decreasing with length, and can cut through flesh when taut, allowing for a battlefield under Sano's control, which seems to become more and more wrapped up with each passing minute. Once an opponent knows of his weapon's position, however, the strings can be cut, and there is nothing stopping them from implementing them also, but as a strategy-based Bankai, Sano has planned for most everything.
Under the influence of Kou, Sano has also developed a few "signature attacks" to impress and distress his opposition, taking away slightly from his Bankai's heavily assassination-based nature.
"Wolf"- Launches forward by rapidly drawing in the strings when they're attached to something solid. Sano is pulled forward in the direction of the launch, just like the leaping Wolf Spider.
"Trapdoor"- Using a mass of strings attached to several locations to halt the opponent, Sano releases all of his knives as soon as they're caught up in his three-dimensional web. By maneuvering the knives after release, he can also wrap around the strings, giving them knew paths mid-flight.
"Black Widow"- Sano brings three strings in from both sides as the knives fly them forward. The true aim is not to cut the opponent, however, and with the increasing web length during the attack, an opponent can easily become wrapped up.
"Birdeater"- Purposely missing with a spining knife toss or two, Sano allows both to drop, then quickly decreases the string length, in order to bring down flying opponents.
Skills and Abilities:
-Hado:
#1 Thrust- Pushes the opponent/object away from the caster. Physical contact is needed for this spell
#4 White Lightning- Shoots a bolt of lightning from the casters finger
-Bakudo:
#1 Restrain- Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
#4 Crawling Rope- An energy rope entangles the target's arms.
#8 Repulse- Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.
#9 Strike- Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them for a short amount of time.
#9 Disintegrating Circle- Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. the end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!"
Biography:
For as long as he or anyone else can remember, Sanosuke has simply existed. He may have undergone some kind of spiritual training long ago, and he might have even fought alongside the Shinigami at one point, but there are too many unknowns and too many stories told jokingly to really pin anything on him. He has undergone the training to become a Shinigami, however, and he was rumored to have excelled in hand-to-hand combat and Kido, but as all other things about him, those are merely rumors. Sano apparently intends to keep that rumor going, too, with his reluctance to display anything other than the minimum effort required for a situation.
After his recent shuffle back into the 13 Gaurd companies, following the upheaval of the previous Captains, one thing has become painfully clear: He is not one to judge too quickly. This unusual Shinigami puts on the face of a slacker, and rarely does anything outside of what is required, but with his impressive service record, one has to wonder what exactly he is hiding.
Secretely, Sanosuke Hito is giving all he has to improving his abilities over time, learning basic Kido spells to their fullest potential, and implementing a shorter variation of Shunpo to his usual fighting style.
To his comrades, he is merely living, making a few friends who can put up with his blunt manner of speech and lazy attitude. And as far as Sano is concerned, that's all anyone really needs to know.
