Who has it!? Do you guys think it's worth the $25 price tag?
I SURE DO.
 XD
It's amusing how many people.. on my server are willing to fork out the cash.. Blizzard better be doing something good with all of it!~
Holy crap; I just realized my WoW looks AWFUL in screenies.. oh well!

Nope. I pay Blizzard $24 (American on Euro servers) every 2 months to make that stuff available for me to get...
I could understand with F2P MMO's, their cash shops are their income since you know, you can play them for free. But Blizzard already has millions of players paying their subscriptions, some even with multiple accounts, and various other things like switches and transfers, not to mention, their shop which sells various paraphernalia for the diehards. To start charging for special in-game items... and that much... eh... waste of money I say. I don't care how fast it goes or if it shits in-game cash every time it jumps.

[ "私は永遠に、あなたを待っている残るよ..."] I'm planning on buying one soon, hopefully.
But I am pretty tired of hearing all the QQ about it in Trade, but I'm sure they'll get over it soon. I can understand that we all pay $15 a month, but if someone can afford it, why the hell not? Plus all your characters, present and future, get it - good deal from buying the racial mounts (even though we're paying close to nothing thanks to previous patches sweatdrop )
However, If WoW starts turning to the cash shops just like Gaia, I'm gonna hurl - I won't be able to keep up with that s**t if they start shoving it down our throats to make us buy. (so god damn tempting....) gonk

I don't have enough to get it on top of making sure I have enough for my monthly subscription, so not quite yet. But I do plan on getting sometime when I have enough extra money. 4laugh

Long version: Most of the people in my guild got it. I can't really afford it right now. If I were rich I might get it. But meh. I mean, it's pretty and all. But I hate spending that much on a game that I already pay so much for. And since everyone has it, I'm sure it'll lose a bit of it's appeal for me anyway since I am sort of a fan of rarity. I also really like my Baron's mount and my blue dragonhawk mount. I might be more tempted if I didn't have mounts that I like or if I was still working toward 100 mounts. But that isn't the case.
Short version: I like it, but I am not overly tempted by it, which is just as well since I don't have spare cash right now.

Is it worth it? I dunno.
Is it cool? Yeah.
Will I get one? ...Yeah, most likely will when I start playing again, damn it.

In the lead up to the Celestial Steed being sold in the Blizz store I was looking forward to seeing where it would come from 'cause it looked really good in the screens of it.
I didn't bother buying it when it was released into the Blizz store because I didn't have the cash for it at the time but I was seriously considering getting it.
Then I logged in... Straight away I counted 10 around Dalaran proper and 5 alone at the Landing and that turned me off. It's one thing for everyone to have one of the mounts you buy at the mount vendors but these Celestial Steeds really stand out and, ingame, I learned they're not as pretty as they looked in the previous pictures.
Long story short, I'm glad I saved the money I didn't have to spend in the first place.
I'm not against Blizz selling mounts at the pet store. I think it's daft to say it's the first step on a slippery slope. If you look at what you've spent on WoW since you started playing compared to how much people have spent in F2P games and consider the quality of the purchases.. I've spent gods knows how much for game time, for the game itself (plus xpacs), plus I bought myself a plush.. People have spent 1000s of dollars in a single year on a F2P game buying things that'll make their time in the game easier, I've probably spent barely a 1k in 4 years playing and I've probably had a lot more fun doing it.

Bought it. I like it. Think its pretty sweet looking. I just don't like that it goes to ALL your toons, even low level like my level 5 lock. Haha I was like what? She can't use that until 20! Lol

I got one for my girlfriend. She saw someone with it in game and was like heart _ heart
I don't like it much, but I don't see a problem with it. It's $25 and it can be a 1 time thing. I'm sure most people have bought something else that may not have been as worthwhile. I've gone to the casino and spent that much playing, went out for sushi instead of eating at home, and caught a late night movie instead of waiting for it to come out on DVD. So why not pay $25 on an item you'll use in a game you play? (and quite a bit in my case).
