It depends a LOT on the materials you have more than the shape of them usually

well i got this fake leather stuff and plan on putting a softer thin black fabric to make it a more simple look, only i wanna know how to make the cut so my wrist can move smoothly with it on

well normally they do one of 2 things

make it layered and add a easily movable cloth (like cotton) on the bottom so they can move and not lose movement...

or not make it layered but 2 pieces and have a different cloth at the wrist to make it so you can move it

it's partially based on how you want it to LOOK at that point...

if you want it to look like a solid piece you will have to cut it at the wrist and add cloth under though it will still not be 100% movable...

if you want it to look kinda like once piece you can add more room at the wrist and will increase movement significantly...

but if you don't mind layered go with option 1 because that will give you much greater full arm movement because it's only attached in the top 2 inches of each layer to a more flexible cloth.

is it one that goes down to cover part of your hand or just the wrist to elbow?

OK
This is the most common but least practical to wear on a daily basis... BECAUSE every time you move your wrist it will dig in. Purely because of the edge. Now to prevent that you'd have to use a very soft cloth to make it more movable but you'd probably still get wrist issues.

the second most common is more movable... though it doesn't look it... and better for your wrist because you can move them without that cut edge. Unless it's made in 2 pieces then it's twice as bad because you'll have 2 edges...

3rd is like this. This gives a TON of arm movability... BUT if you flip the layers in the opposite direction you'll have movability and no wrist pressure. I'd actually recommend this one without the hand cover. If you make it adjustable you can wear it either direction based on how you feel.
