This happened to be my second year. ^^ I'm straight, but I understood what this was really about my freshman year. It turns out two of my best friends are bi, and I'm LDS, you can see the complications... But I didn't let that stop me from being friends with them. I go to a high school in Vegas and most of my mormon friends hate on it, except those who go there, calling it LVGAY. I hated it, just because we accepted any sexuality at our school with our judging people because of it, they were getting hate for it. We are an arts school and our prinicpal happens to be gay, so he doesn't mind us doing it. It was really hard to do because I had to go to church after and when they saw my red card, they picked on me for supporting this. Not everyone, just a few pricks who are very closed minded.

-randomly comes out of her lurker shadow- I've never participated in it myself, since I have a hard time following the, "shut-up to speak-out," idea behind it, though I do support those who do it. As long as it spreads awareness then I totally admire everyone here who does it.
On a totally unrelated sidenote: Kassandra, I do believe we go to the same school. xD Mr. Long sure is tight though. I've heard stories of other schools not being allowed to do it, and he was just totally cool about it. ^^
