Emmy's suspicions were growing to be quite correct. This was, in fact, a date. This was very new territory for her. In fact it was literally her first date. She didn't know what to expect, but people had been doing this forever, so she could to.

Emmy kept looking from Trevor, to just beyond him, to the ground, and then back to him. She had almost a permanent blush at this point, there was just no way for her to hide it. As her arms swung at her sides she kept moving her hand closer to his, a couple times almost brushing against it. She took a deep breath and finally just grabbed onto his hand. It was warm and soft. She couldn't help but become a deeper red as they continued walking.

The walk went quickly, especially because Emmy was so lost in her own thoughts. For once they were very happy thoughts. "So what do you have in mind? I'm guessing you have a small plan. Though I know I'll like anything you decide to do."

"Ooo, I must say I do enjoy ice cream." Emmy skipped slightly ahead to the swings, taking her place in one of the empty spots. The swings had always been her favorite, they reminded her of the times she had spent with her grandma when she was little. It was always somewhere she could relax, and actually enjoy life. Now she was able to share that with someone, and that thought alone brought a warmness to her heart.

She blushed and flashed a slightly embarrassed smile, Emmy always thought she wasn't very camera friendly. "Well, I suppose I'd have to say mint chocolate chip. Or black cherry. Its so hard to choose when they are all pretty yummy. I wish you could get black cherry as a soft ice cream so you could dip it in chocolate."

Emmy seemed to zone out for a moment thinking about all the flavor combination, until she realized she was probably drooling. With the sound of rubber against sand, she came to a grinding halt. She lightly tapped her face to be sure she really didn't drool, as that would truly be embarrassing.

"Hmmm," She let herself pick up momentum once more from his pushing. "Maybe we could feed the geese? Or find a nice patch of grass and point out shapes in the clouds...that sounded a little childish."

There wasn't much to do it seemed today, Emmy was hoping there would be some kind of event they could go to. She would have to check the schedules when she got home for future reference, that was if Trevor still wanted to go out with her.

"Lets say...the geese first." She might aswell get used to having a permanent blush, as it seemed no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get rid of it. She felt so weak, like she was completely under anothers spell. But the kicker to it all was she didn't mind.

There were plenty of people in the park that day, and yet it was so quiet. It was like Emmy and Trevor had the place all to themselves. The walk took a little longer than it should have, but Emmeline was definitely dragging it out. She gently let her head rest on Trevor's shoulder, being sure to not hurt herself from the movement of walking. She had hurt herself on much less before.

Upon finally arriving, she saw the little stand was open that sold food for the geese. She pulled out her small change purse and got one bag, hoping that would be fine. If they really needed to they could always get another one.

With her purse back in her pocket, she used her free hand to pull
Trevor towards the lake. She offered the bag to him with a smile. "So tell me a little more about yourself. No crazy exes i should know about is there?"
