[For everyone!]
Syrelia had to take Gabrielle to the plant store. The poor toddler had looked a little wilty during the winter months and, being a nymph of the woods, the young witch thought that maybe some plant growth formula, a little sunlamp, stuff like that might help. And, still being fearful of leaving her kidlets alone, she had taken all four out with her.
Lily had scampered off to check out her namesake, happily playing video games on her new DS as she went (it had been a guilt gift, no lie). Gabrielle tottered along beside her mother, happy as a freaking clam for once. This was her element and this made her glad. The twin boys sat (one tied, more like) in the front seat of the shopping cart, taking in the sights and wonders of the plant store. So. Many. Colours.
"Alright, Gabby. You can pick out a few flowers, too, if you want. I did promise you that garden, after all."

Plant store? Plant stores and flowershops reminded Howl of home; when he and Sophie had run a flowershop with flowers out of the waste. Still, he was pulled out of his thoughts as a certain toddler tugged on the leg of his jeans. "Why we here, cousin Howl?" Loki asked urgently. "Why we here? I no like flowers."
"There are many spiders who enjoy flowers," Howl told the toddler with a tone that told the younger boy to keep his mouth shut. "Anyway. Dad sent me to pick out some flowers for mom." The blonde boy glanced around again, and smiled. "Maybe we can pick some out for your mom, too. I know Aunt Risa would like some."
Loki did not seem to like the idea of getting his mother flowers at all. "Why your Daddy not get them himself?" he insisted. Honestly, Howl was beginning to see why Risa liked muttering things about Loki spending too much time with him. "Why your Daddy not get flowers for Auntie himself?"
"You know why," Howl said. "He's been ill for the last two months." He paused in his explanation long enough to have spotted Syrelia and her family. "Hey Loki," he started. "Maybe you'll make a friend today."

A little ways away, a child was in the process of looking over a few of the plants. Her mother and siblings were in the store next door, so Julie had come to explore a bit.
Glancing up, the imp noticed a little family approaching and waved a bit. "Hi there!" she called, flicking her headwings a bit in greeting to Syrelia and her family.

"Are you sure you want a flower Imani?" R.J. asked her tiny charge as they walked into the shop. "I mean, you have two pets all ready..."
"We need flowers Mama!" Imani said, with an almost stomp of her foot. "It's Spring! We need flowers to make our apartment look like it!" Imani stopped at the sight of a certain headwinged girl though, but oddly, instead of running off to hug her, she ducked behind R.J.'s legs instead.
"What's the matter sweetie? That looks like your friend Julie over there..." R.J. was confused. It wasn't like Imani to act like this.
"She's bigger..." Imani said with a frown. "She might not wanna be my friend no more..."

Damin and Lila walked into a store that young Eve Poison had told them she wanted to go to her. The male vampire of the trio still had paint and even a wide look in his eyes as he still remembered Eve's fit when they told her that they wanted to stay home.
Eve had been upset about not going because without her mother, or any adults around her, she wouldn't be able to get to the store. The little toddler understood why her mother couldn't go. Ivy was happily tucked in after getting five darts filled with a knock out venom shot into her back when she lost her temper with Damin and nearly killed him.
Eve hoped her mother would heal soon because to be direct, the assassin was scaring her own daughter with how restless she was. A small garden might help the woman and Eve thought that since Ivy was her mother's name, her mother liked plants.
So the little girl walked ahead of her sitter, looking for plants to get to calm down her mother.

"No."
Sophie lowered her vase of Easter lily's with a pout. "Why not?"
Most days, Adrian could put up with Sophie's attitude, but with the sun ablaze outdoors he felt much like a toddler who'd stayed up too late. "We have roses at home. We're here for fertilizer, nothing more."
Since she couldn't hit his head, the witch settled with kicking the vampire's shin. He stumbled back with a curse. "Black! Their all black. Black and red. It's spring, so act like it. Whats it going to hurt?"
Even though he wanted to snap, Adrian yawned. He stood up and realized he was carrying something.
Sophie saw it first. "Daffodils! I knew you'd see it my way." She beamed. With a turn of the heel, she was stridding down the aisle, chatting on about this and that. That was, until she saw those familiar faces.
Howl, and Eve. But who to talk to first....?

Howl was at a loss on who to greet first; on one hand, Julie was already talking to someone and it would be rude to interupt, on the other, Sophie was with Adrian and the vampire was terribly frightening. Still, he was mildly impressed that Adrian somehow managed not to combust into flames on day like this. He had heard that vampires were known for doing so. "Loki, you stay here," he said, giving his cousin a smile. "Meet some people, make some friends." He would talk to them both, and maybe then some. There seemed to be several people in this store. He made his way towards Sophie.
Make friends? Was this some kind of trick? Loki had recognized Adrian from the zoo and gave the man a friendly wave. He spotted Julie and gave her a smile as well; despite not knowing her. She was older, and she was pretty; and she looked nice, to boot. Loki felt he had everything going for him. "Hi!" he said. "I Loki. What your name?" Before waiting for an answer, he glanced around again. He noticed Eve and gave her a wave as well. "Hi!"

Eve noticed the wave and waved back before looking for a flower her mother would like. There were a few pink and white roses, but Eve remembered how much her mother hated pink and white still made Damin glare at her like she had tried to shave his head in his sleep. Though that was a good idea to save for later.
Damin watched the toddler carefully, remembering how protective Ivy was of her daughter and the vampire would rather face Louie instead of Ivy Poison when she was angry. Lila was wondering if Ivy would accept whatever her daughter got. The nanny hadn't the heart to tell the girl that Ivy dispite her name had a black thumb when it came to plants and gardening.

Julie blinked as someone other than who she'd been greeting waved at her. "Oh hi! I'm Julie. Nice to meet you." she called.
She briefly spotted a speck of dark skin and a white mask before waving. "IMANI! OVER HERE!" she called happily before turning back to Loki, who she'd run over to. "That's my best friend Imani. You should meet her! She's super cool!"

"I'm Eve. Likewise," Eve called back before grinning at the sight of a black rose and a white lvy plant. It would work for a first time garden and the black roses did look lovely. Eve wondered if Sophie might have some tips on how to keep a garden alive.

Like a hurricane, Ellery burst into the flower shop, giggling nervously as he darted through and hid behind one of the farthest display. His father was right on his heels, the same kind of excited grin on his face as he also made refuge in the store. Outside, one could hear the shouts of a very angry butcher as he stomped around the street, shouting for the blood of the two who had taken some of his meat without paying.
However, he didn't think to look inside the flower shop, and soon the two boys were in the clear. With a high-five, Joseph and Ellery straightened up, Joseph stowing the stolen meat in his coat. Now that they actually had a moment to catch their breaths, Ellery was captivated by the flower shop, and he tugged on Joseph's pant leg. "Daddy, Daddy, getta f'ower, can we getta f'ower, pwease?"
Given that he was in a good mood, Joseph smiled and nodded. "Okay, fine. Pick out one you like."
With a gleeful squeak, Ellery bounced off to try and find a good flower. However, his short attention span reared its head as he saw a girl with some gray stuff on her face talking to a girl with a lot of wings on her head. Tipping his head in a curious fashion, he walked up to them and tapped the first girl, asking boldly. "What's wong wiff yer face? 'N where'dja get alla dem wings?" he turned to address the other girl.
Across the store, Joseph hit his face with his palm. If there was one thing Ellery didn't have, it was tact.

Imani blinked and waved before shuffling her smaller self over to where Julie was, feeling awkward still that her friend had gotten so much bigger. In TV shows bigger kids were meaner to littler kids, right? Why would Julie still want to be friends with her?
"Hiya!" she said to Loki, perking up a bit in her typical Imani fashion. "You here to find flowers too?"
