Newsanchor edition:
Nyz: I do.
Pink: I don't.
Soryiu: It didn't.

Now then.

Nyz: You did change your name! Sweet Jesus, I'm happy that's you. I was a bit worried, honestly. Trouble in Wonderland, and all.
Y'know, and in Christianland.
As for what I've been up to, not much. I recently finished the book 'Howard the Duck'. We moved recently, and after going through the remains of our old bookstore, I now have one proper bookshelf, two stacks of three milkcrates each forming makeshift shelves, another of two cardboard boxes, one large box, and a quarter floor worth of books. I recently discovered I'm capable of reading a full sized novel in about half a day. I'm gonna take on Harry Potter soon, because my brother once pulled it off, and I always wanted to be like him when I was a munchkin, so.
Oh, and since we have "Socratic Seminars" every Tuesday at school, which is essentially a somewhat lacking attempt at philosphical discussion, I've been amusing myself by tearing people apart with logic, reason, and Star Wars. Mostly logic and reason.
How about you?
Pink: Technically, I have a phone. I have my mom's old phone, which broke. I fixed it with my mastery of modern technology (meaning, I took the batteries out, then put 'em back in). Also, I've come to accept that you may be right, and perhaps my name actually does fit me, in a strangely ironic way.
Soryiu: For alas, there's actually this whole complicated process with a garlic necklace, a mouthful of garlic, a decapitation, a burlap sack and an east-flowing river, but hey. I certainly give you points for trying...!

How have things been with all of you? Being gone for so long, I really need a bit of a catching-up. Out of the loop and whatnot. Considering how loopy we typically are, I assume it'll take me a while to catch up.

Balls. I miss texting you. But it is amazing to see you online.~ Do you think you shall consistently be here, or?

Socratic seminars! You dog, you, are you in AVID!

Do you continue to reside in Missouri?

How have you not read the Harry Potter series?! They definitely trump the films.

And my God, everything for me is extremely different! I am amazing, and happy, every day.

Lastly! How long is your hair, friend? (: I'm very glad you remember me stating your name to be fitting, haha. ^ ^

May the force be with you in those endeavors. xD
I'm all right, actually. Junior in high school now, so I'm basically being consumed by my honors and AP (damn US history) classes.
Aside from that, I've been enjoying myself by skating, making things, dancing in the street, and wrangling wild boa constrictors. (long story, I should tell it to you sometime).
I recently finished a pair of black and rainbow pants, which occasionally give old people seizures. biggrin
I am not taking art classes with my usual crazy teacher this semester, and that is actually a little depressing.
I'm traveling to Italy for a week or so in the early summer with my cousins, and we will wreak havoc.
I don't straighten my hair very much any more, so it's become this very curly mane that has a habit of trying to kill me.
I've been learning how to dance like Lady GaGa and glowstring.
Some of my artwork has been entered in our school's first annual art show/auction, and I think I've got a decent chance of winning some serious cash prizes.
That's all I can think of for now in terms of what's happening to me, but I'm sure I'll come up with more later.

If you do have a phone, call me. Us. Everybody. Happy Unbirthday.

And I am absolutely ecstatic that you are back.

Jack! biggrin Hello!
It's good to see you are alive and well. I've been starting to wonder where everyone who hasn't logged in for awhile went off too.

Nyzz! (******** your new name, you'll always be Nyzz for me! xD)
I'm alright. Graduation is coming up soon so I'm getting anxious about that. Currently, I'm making an animated video about Dinosaurs! It'll be wonderful!

How is life on your side?

I also stick to Nyz.

Pink: As consistently as I can possibly expect, yes.

AVID...? Do explain.

I do yet live in Misery. It's actually quite terrible, because I've realised how badly it's getting to me. I'm culturally troubled: I occasionally use British or archaic spellings for words (i.e. 'realised' just now) before I catch myself, I'll sometimes slip into a British singing accent, I apparently often have a very slight Irish accent, and every once in a while (months apart, usually) I'll be talking and a strong Southern accent will slip into my speech for a few words. Did it today, actually, at the aforementioned seminars. Kind of embarassing, really. Not likin' the Southern accent.

I have read the series, but I just figured it's been long enough, I shouldn't be bored by reading the same thing over again.

Amazing and happy, hmm? Hmmm. This is good! A trifle uncharacteristic, but good!

Ah, when my sister straightens it, my hair comes down to approximately the bottom of my scapulae. Otherwise, given the abnormally curly nature of my hair (you know how when girls go to proms or what have you, they'll occasionally curl their hair into wierd cylinders, or inverted cones that spiral downward? Mine does that naturally once it's long enough, which is funny considering that I always thought my hair was straight before I grew it), it's just long enough to get in my collar and annoy me.
I have a good memory. wink

Nyz: Why thank you. I've not been wished a happy unbirthday in... well, ever before. So, thanks!

I've never been to Europe. I've been compiling a list of things I'd like to do in my life. Some are boring (study any and all possible mystical literature I can find), and some are a little more fun (learn to fly planes and drive ships, visit London, China, win a swords tournament). I think Italy would be interesting. Really, Europe in general, but I hear Italy but a very interesting ransom procedure.
No, that was France; nevermind. Either way, Italy still interests me.
Crap, no; it really was Italy. Damn it. Whatever. Of course it was Italy; they spoke Italian. Christ.

I'd like to hear about the constrictorquest, by the way. That sounds appropriately heart-pounding. The most dangerous thing I've ever engaged was... well, technically, a person, but outside of that realm... nothing. I don't really have many adventures; unfortunate side-effect of recreational hermeticism.

I figure your art is worthy of some prizes. Tell me how it goes, then!

Oh, and apparently, I'm now a member of a music honors society. Kind of ironic, considering what I did at the Christmas concert...

Now, imagine this whole post in a slight Irish accent (listening to myself, it has something to do with the way I stress and 'evolve' my vowels, or something). Fun, fun!

Clem!
For the purpose of avoiding breaking some kind of law involving a particular post length, I decided to do this.

So, hey! How hast ye fared? I assume you were absolutely devestated by my sudden disappearance, but it's okay, because I'm back now. wink

My sarcasm will get me killed eventually. I'll be surprised if it doesn't.
Of course, by the time I realize that it didn't, I'll be dead anyway, but still.

I have no objections as to which of my alter egos you choose to address me as. xD
Clem: Ooh! That sounds very exciting. Things have been interesting. My day to day life is extremely tough (I get anywhere from 2-7 hours of homework a day), but the time I spend when I'm not battling the homework monster is full of fun. One unfortunate development in my situation is that I recently found out my art teacher (mentor, friend, etc.) is not returning to my school next year. Her classes were my favorite, and I'm not sure what I will do without her.

Christian: Interesting, I would not have initially expected China to be on your list. I can't wait for Italy, especially seeing the winged lion of St Marco. It's a statue in a square somewhere that I've always wanted to see. I love how you type out your thought process while posting, by the way. Not to be creepy or anything. Anyway. Let me tell you guys about what happened with me and the snakes!
I'm from Aruba. Or rather, my parents are. And we go there often to see family and whatnot. Aruba happens to have a bit of a problem with invasive boa constrictors. Apparently someone somewhere along the way thought it was a good idea to let their snake free in the wild, hence a population explosion of snakes with no natural predators. The first encounter was when my cousin Ryan (13 years old, cool kid) found a snake my grandmother's mango tree. The fruit from that tree is delicious, by the way. It's ridiculous how good it is. He kept it in a large plastic bottle that he would shake upside down in order to get the snake out. The boa didn't bite, so we (of course) made it our business to play with it and let it slither all over our arms and hands. This continued until at the end of the day Ryan goes to shake the boa (which had been sitting in the sun without any water all day) out of the bottle. Boa turns on him, hisses, and tries to bite him, then begins slithering quickly away. Since it is a member of an invasive species, we can't let it escape. So I restrain it until our "uncle" is able to kill it. I remain unsure as to what exactly is the most efficient way of killing a snake, so I refrain from doing so. Second encounter was this summer! My cousins and I are bored (again, at grandma's. We call her Ah-Mah, actually. It's a Chinese thing) and we decide to look in the same mango tree to see if there are any more snakes for us to catch. Lo and behold, there is one! A little bigger than the last one. So we knock it out of the tree and into a cardboard box, stare at it for awhile, then take it out and play with it like we did with the last one. The others were kind of reluctant to touch it at first because of our previous experience with a boa, but I picked it up trusting that it would have the same initial temperament as the other one. Like so. Anyway, we had to kill that one too. Funny, because that appears to be the ultimate fate of all the "pets" that my cousins and I get our hands on. xD

Jack: Oh yes, terribly devastated. Sarcasm is a wonderful thing, only certain people can pull it off well. So be glad that you are one. My younger brother often tries and it's just annoying. Haha.

Nyzz: Wow! That's so much! I hardly ever have homework anymore. That sucks about your art teacher. It's my senior year, so it doesn't really matter anymore. But if I had to go without my video teacher at my home school, I would be so sad. He's awesome.
