Eunuch...the term made the cub feel awkward. He was a mixed breed, and most likely would never have children....was he...less of a cat because of that? Was something wrong with him becuase he couldn't produce offspring one day? Nesrin did want cubs one day, and a banu of his own. But even if he got one, would she be happy if she could never have cubs?
The thoughts were pretty intense for a young cub to come up with, but he did have a lot to think about. If he couldn't produce cubs, its not like he would have much ranking in the pride. The young cub looked very feminine at a glance, his soft colored pelt covered with vines of flowers like his mothers, it was quite feminine looking indeed. He was busy playing in the grass at the moment, chasing mice that scurried through the thicket of brown and green, his tail swishing back and fourth as he tried to pounce on one, and missed. Of course he did...
"Aaaah darn it! Stop running away!" he shouted at the mice, as if they would actually listen. It's not like you could say say 'stop running and let me eat you!' and expect ANYTHING to listen to you! It just didn't work that way...

It was a nice day out. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, there were flowers scattered throughout the grass...But rather than sit and admire the beauty of the day, as she would have liked, Atefeh knew she wasn't going to become a good Banu that way. Nope...she needed to practice hunting! So...she had made her way to her favorite spot to practice pouncing, where lots of mice ALWAYS showed up.
Of course...she was a bit surprised when someone yelled at the mice, and she found herself in the company of a very...blue...cat? Atefeh blinked. Why...she'd never seen a creature quite like him! He was very pretty, and looked a little like a lion...but something wasn't quite right.
"If you yell at them, they'll run even faster." Her tone was very polite. Even though she wasn't sure who or what he was...wasn't hard to recognize him as male when you were an observant little girl.

((so sorry its so late! D cool )
Nesrin jumped at the sound of a voice. Who what!? He turned around and spotted the lioness as he folded his ears back for a minute, before taking a deep breath and puffing out his chest, ears perked up. “Well uuhh, I expected them to do that! Yah! They wont be coming back here again! Teach them who to mess with!’ Okay..his excuse was lame. Very, very lame. But he was trying! He just…didn’t want to come off as weak or useless right now…not with someone..waching.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, relaxing his demeanor a bit. It was hard trying to seem like a big, tough male! Oh well, it wasn’t like he was very useful anyways, not even knowing if he would be able to make babies one day. “Females are better at hunting anyways. I only learn it because at some point when I leave my moms and dad I will have to.” he said with a groan. He was realizing that he didn’t like to hunt..

Atefeh managed to hold back a giggle. Males were silly sometimes. Very wise, much wiser than females usually...but they often had silly moments. "You're very good at scaring them off. Your future banu will be very lucky, to have a protector like yourself!"
He was right though...hunting was for the females to do. She smiled. "Only until you find a banu will you have to hunt. But one such as yourself...it shouldn't be hard at all!" She smiled kindly.

Nesrin folded his ears back, he wasn't very social, he got shy and nervous so easily, especially around girls. What a lame cat he was...he should be dominating! Not...nervous...he looked and acted like a girl...he wasn't very useful was he? "Oh um, yah. I hope I can get one. But I dont even know if I will get to have cubs of my own. I dont know if any females would want a pad who can't produce young.."[b/] he said, obviously very sensitive about the fact that he was a half breed, not a lion...not a leopard. He was just....stuck in the middle.
"I hope I can improve. Even if I wind up just hunting for myself when I get older, its good to know how to." he said, his ears still folded back. He didn't know why he got so nervous around females, it didn't make much sense to him. "Soyour name?" he asked her curiously. It was okay to ask for names right? Should be, he might be young but he was male he was...entitled to that information right? Or was he just getting it mixed up...hmm..
((such a confused little guy XD))

Atefeh simply smiled at him. "If you find a banu who loves you, cubs should not matter. And..." She thought carefully a moment. "Perhaps you could always adopt? I've heard tales that sometimes, cubs are left to fend for themselves in the rogue lands." Such a horrible place, the rogue lands sounded like. It was much better in the pride...Safer. Happier.
"Maybe...you could ask your mother for lessons?" She bowed. "My name is Atefeh, Pesar. It is a pleasure to meet you!"
