Daniel rolled over in his bed and slapped his hand on his bedstand. Once. Twice. On the third time he managed to slap the top of his kreening alarm clock. *groan* Danny rolled back over in his bed, putting his back to the foul, glowing clock.
*kreeee kreeee kreeee k-*
The second clock beside it chimed its opinion of the matter. As one who constantly overslept he routinely set two or even three clocks to go off and wake him. "Wha? What is it?" He swung an arm out again and knocked the thing to the floor where it fell silent. He waited a bit, thinking at last he'd have some peace but knowing that if he left the clock there that when he finally got out of bed he might accidentally step on it. What to do... what to do...
*yawn* Tossing off his sheets he swung his feet down and just barely in time shifted them away from the fallen alarm clock before placing them on the ground. "Nothing for it, I guess." He rubbed his eyes while he scooped up the alarm clock and set it on the table. He noticed it was 6:47 am.
"Why did I want to get up so early?" He rubbed his shaggy hair and tried to remember where his shoes were. "Did I leave them in the kitchen?" It was a likely place, the kitchen wasn't far. "Or maybe... the bathroom!"
No, he did not leave his shoes in the bathroom, but as the seventh son in a large family he had noticed right away that there were four people and one bathroom. "Oh no, ohnoohnoohno!" He rushed around the room, scooping up his toiletries and a fresh pair of slacks. Because not only was there only one bathroom, he was the furthest from it. He opened his door and prepared to run.

Luna, hogging the room right next to the two-way bathroom, had an undeniable field advantage for conquering the coveted area in the mornings. However, the esteemed gym leader was also a late night sleeper.
"Gaaah, five more minutessssss..." she muttered, flopping to the other side of the bed. "Five more...mmm..."
However, although Luna was physically out of the fight for the bathroom, her pokemon were not. ChuChu, ever the trigger happy electric mouse, laid curled up in front of the bathroom door. Her tail hanged over the doorknob with small trails of electricity occasionally traveling across ChuChu's its length. It would seem that the assistants would not only have to make it to the bathroom, they would have to pass through without disturbing the raichu. Or make it through Luna's room, but who knew what other grumpy morning pokemon rested there?

What was that noise? Plop plop plop... Footsteps? Where was she?
Penelope rolled over, her arm hit the back of something soft.... a cushion. Oh! The couch in the living room of the gym. Now she remembered. She'd been out late working on their tree-house and was too tired to drag her self all the way to her bedroom.
She liked it here, she had her own room, and a bathroom, with a real bath tub.
"Huh?" There was that noise again. Plop plop plop. She poked her head over the top of the couch to look down the hall at who was making all the noise. Daniel, another of the gym assistants. He'd just come out of his room, he was holding pants and... a towl?
"BATHROOM!" Penelope vaulted over the back of the couch and started to make a mad dash to the bathroom. She wasn't going wait for three other people to finish up before her!
"Stitch! Bathroom!"

As a ninja, it was completely normal for Oyumi to be up as early as six in the morning. In fact, she had been up that early on this particular morning, but she had spent the past near-hour sparring with her Pokemon in the gym next door. It was a normal thing for her to do these days - wake up early and get Kamu, Fuutarou, and Kubiwa some exercise. And more often than not, she always chose to take her showers later in the day, mainly so she could wash off the sweat she accumulated during her intense work outs.
Unfortunately, on this particular day, her morning spar had taken just a few minutes longer than normal. A few minutes that made all the difference when Fuutarou alerted her that the other two assistants were making a mad dash for the bathroom.
Oyumi bit back a curse and grabbed the duffel bag she'd taken into the gym, quickly returning her Pokemon to their balls before dashing into the main house. She knew she was at a disadvantage, coming from a separate building. But that didn't leave her out of contention. Years training in the Fuchsia City gym as a ninja had made her faster than average, and it was only a few moments before she was in the house and running towards the bathroom. (Thank god she'd made a habit of packing her toiletries in her bag!)

"Ah!" Penelope's shout startled Danny in his mad dash and he lost his grip on his pants. A pant leg twisted itself around his ankle and he nearly lost his balance. Nearly. He didn't want to be rude, so he did at least say good morning.
"MorninPenelope, seeya," he said in his mad dash. Who's Stitch? he wondered. The bottom of his feet burned a bit when he skid to a halt half-way to his destination. There was a Raichu at the door... "Uh oh." He recognized ChuChu, had Luna already gotten to the bathroom? Or was she still sleeping and ChuChu just insuring her trainer got first dibs on the coveted shower?

(Hey guys mini game. Whenever you approach ChuChu and attempt to untangle her from the door or something, roll a 4 sided dice. If it is even, you are successful. If it is odd, you fail and WAKE UP CHUCHU and I will make a post directly afterwards but then we can resume post order)
ChuChu's ears twitched as she heard the familiar sound of footsteps approaching, but she had been working all night on a new move and the rug in front of the bathroom door was just so comfortable.
"Chuuuu..."
The raichu rolled over slightly so that she was flat on her back, a small trail of drool falling down the side of her mouth.

Wham!
Penelope stopped abruptly in Danny's back, as he stopped suddenly. She stumbled backward, then looked around her gym-mate.
"Uh oh..." She echoed Danny. "So... Um... How bad do you want a shower?" Penelope thought about her question. She wanted one pretty bad... She tip toed closer to the Raichu, eyeballed how its tail was wrapped around the door knob, and reached out to start the perilous work.

For once, Oyumi was glad to be slightly late.
Upon seeing the current predicament her two fellow assistants were in, she couldn't help but get the feeling she had a slight advantage. After all - two of her beloved partners were Psychic types. If they couldn't safely removed the Raichu from in front of the door, it might as well be a lost cause.
She could hardly contain her smile as she crept up behind the other two assistants, silently releasing Fuutarou and sending him a mental nudge. (He'd been insisting that she work on her own meager abilities as a psychic lately, and giving mental commands seemed to help strengthen her.)
Now all she had to do was hope he was able to move the Pokemon without setting off a catastrophic chain of events...

ChuChu was lifted carefully into the air by the Mewtwo's psychic abilities. The raichu seemed oblivious of her current altitude until she began to attempt to rub her face against the soft carpet below and was met only by empty air.
"...Chuuu?" The raichu asked, curious about the disappearance of the rug but still quite sleepy.

Danny was shocked, ChuChu was floating! He looked around and noticed the other assistant had also arrived, looking to have been awake for a while and hard at work already. It didn't seem like ChuChu was far enough away yet so he enacted Plan Z. If you couldn't get through the main door there was also the extra door which was in... *gulp* Luna's room.
He knew he couldn't hesitate long. That ninja or her Mew were going to move ChuChu enough very soon. He side-stepped and swung Luna's door open and then closed it as quickly and quietly as he could behind himself. Getting to the bathroom first ensured hot water. No way was he taking any more cold showers.

Luna groaned at the sound of a door opening and the brief entrance of light into the room, but the sleepy trainer did not awaken. "Go 'way ChuChu...sleepin'...mmm..."
The gym leader took a firm grip of her blankets and resolutely pulled them over her head, not even noticing Danny entering the room.
(NOW WHO WILL GET IN THE BATHROOM? HOW WILL YOU GUYS DETERMINE THIS? rofl )

Penelope watched, dumbfounded, as Daniel ran around and creeped into Luna's room. Her face twisted into something resembling indignation and confusion before she threw her arms up in the air.
"CHEATER! HE'S GOING THROUGH THE BACK DOOOOOOOR!!!" She pushed herself off of the door took off running after him.
It hadn't donned on her that she could have just opened the door and gone in...

So far so good... He didn't waste any more time. He tip-toed as quickly as he could to the other bathroom door, then he heard Penelope yell. Oh dear... He just knew at any moment Luna would wake up and demand an explanation, maybe even kick him out of the Gym! How would he get experience then?
Just as she opened the door he reached the other one. It opened! That crazy ninja girl hadn't gotten in yet to lock the door from this side. He stuck his tongue out at Penelope and dashed through the door, locking it behind him. He then quickly crossed the small space to the other door and locked it too. Still worried about waking Luna, he only did a victory dance without any whooping.
