"ILYROSA SPECTRE! GET YOUR REAR END BACK HERE!" Damon shouted, panting and slowing down considerably as he chased after his newly grown child. Of course, he had no chance whatsoever of catching the little speed demon as she sped ahead and turned down a street and vanished from his sight. Damned kid... Maybe he should invest in a child leash and maybe some chains and figure out a way to keep the girl from ripping his arm off.
Ily giggled and darted off into the vast unknown, turning at random and doing full 180's whenever she reached a dead end. Eventually, the diligence spawn ended up in what appeared to be an abandoned lot. Trash littered the ground and holes were aplenty. "Woah... Dis place is awesome," she muttered, grinning wildly at the amount of space. She could have LOADS of fun here!

It had been a normal day of scavenging for Ferox. Daddy routinely sent the little pride boy out to dig through dumping sites and garbage pails in search of any potential valuables (he said one would be amazed at what they could find) and bring it back to him for further inspection. He had managed to acquire a goodly collection of neat junk in his little salvaged backpack for these occasions, but chances were when he brought it home to daddy it would just be more junk. He was not the best of appraisers.
He was used to being alone on such excursions. On occasion daddy or Cel would accompany him, but today he was going solo- just like a grown up! So he was startled when a strange figure came whipping around the corner and into the empty lot he thought he'd have ho himself all day.
"Hi!" He chirped cheerfully, obviously not one to be bitten by the shy bug. "Who're you?"

Ily nearly jumped out of her skin having not previously seen the boy wandering over to the lot she had stumbled upon. Well, more like ran at full speed into. Turning, the girl peered closely at the boy, instantly noticing the scaly tail with a grin. "Hai! I'm Ilyrosa, but chu can call me Ily cause everyone else does. Wha's your name? And your tail is sooooo awesome! I have one too, but it's not all scaly like yours, it's jus' red an' yellow an' gray," she said, attempting to speak at a pace he could understand as her dad kept reminding her to do.
Damon also said something about asking too many questions and blabbing on about nonsense, but she really didn't pay attention to any of that. Sheesh, she didn't even know who this Nonsense was! "Whatcha doin' out here anyways?" the girl asked curiously, skipping closer while her tail wagged happily behind her.
