So who thinks that we're headed for another civil war, and who thinks that we should overthrow our current government?

It's not going to happen, sorry. Not enough people want one and there's no unity in those that do.

Which person honestly sounds less trustworthy
A: Just give me more power, money and a few of your civil liberties and I'll promise all your problems will be solved.
or
B: We will not get out of debt by spending trillions of dollars. Most major Financial problems were, if you look back far enough, the results of Government regulations i.e. limiting free enterprise. Government constantly tries to "fix" something and always ends up causing problems, at which point they feel it is there job to find more solutions, always causing more problems.
Which side sounds more trustworthy, the side saying give us the ruling class more power (Progressives, socialist, communist, Neocons ect.) or the side saying, Let the power be in the people, individuals should run their own lives.(Libertarians & Paleocons)

Wouldn't having another American civil war result in a lot of unecessary blood shed?

If you want to overthrow your government, then maybe you should stop being a hypocrite. If you vote in someone and they ******** up, that's your fault.

Dura Lex Sed Lex You just hit almost every red-alarm alert system that the CIA, FBI, NRO, NSA, I&A, and the TFI have set up. Literally almost every one of those words is flagged.
The Law is Harsh, but the Law will Prevail.

The Law is Harsh, but the Law will Prevail. Okay people, I thought this would be assumed but apparently I'm going to have to say it: I'm not actually trying to start an uprising. I just offered it as a topic of conversation and/or debate.

Im all up for it. Not only is the US overpopulated, (we cant even support all of the people we have, especially when giving aid to other countries), but it is definitely time. Cant remember off the top of my head which president said it, but it has been said we need a revolution every 20 years. I fully agree, and it would make all politicians watch themselves.

Well that's a bit extreme, but I do think we need a revolution when our politicians sell us out and we become a government of the rich by the rich for the rich.

Well that's a bit extreme, but I do think we need a revolution when our politicians sell us out and we become a government of the rich by the rich for the rich. Its just due to the fact that they will know they cant get comfortable doing whatever they please, for fear of a revolution. Of course I only support necessary ones, and not ones that would start on a specific date every 20 years. They gain office and then say one thing and turn around and do the exact opposite in many cases. Fear of death would probably put an end to it.
