Seriosly? Miku's outfit is changing, and I don't want that to happen. ;; She's wearing pants now, PANTS! Or leggings or something. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to miss the skirt. [link]Kagamine Len would have an Append, therefore, if following the rules, Kagamine Len would have a new outfit too. And Kagamine Len being a twin with Kagamine Rin, she's bound to have a female equivalent of the clothes Len has. But if this is so, Megurine Luka, who is the last of the trio program by Crypton, would be left out, therefore, Luka would need a new outfit. It's a chain reaction!

Oooo it's very unique
I think they just want to make her seem more... realistic? Rather than having the little anime style character.
Otherwise, It's really up to the fans to decided if they want to continue using the old outfit or the new one. I mean hello, Meiko hardly has a set outfit >3>

Personally, I really dislike Miku's append voices.
They sound nothing like the KAWAII DEYSOOOOOO Miku we all love.
But the new art looks pretty~

ShionKaitoUke Personally, I really dislike Miku's append voices. They sound nothing like the KAWAII DEYSOOOOOO Miku we all love. But the new art looks pretty~ .........are you sure this is official? I never liked her voice until I heard dark miku version. Her current voice sounds so overdone in most anime I've watched (squeaky wise). There was a thread in here earlier talking about Append Len and Rin. They sort of had a new look, but the change isn't noticable. -edits- I noticed the resemblance between this new Miku and Cosmo (or was it Kosmo) in Xenosaga, interesting. Anyway, it's up to the artists/producers to choose what Miku will wear. Ain't going to be permanent.

I actually am, too, against this change :C The voice sounds alright but I don't really think its really any point. I mean, people draw Miku in different outfits already so...
I really am going to miss the old Miku D':

They look more like leggings to me.... Though Miku has never appealed to me... I really dont like her voice no matter what she's singing.

But, like... How are Len and Kaito supposed to be perverts if Miku is wearing Pants/leggings? I'm sure they're disapointed too. XD But the vocaloid who I would LOVE to see change, is Meiko, voice wise. Crypton needs to update her and Kaito's voice so they won't be forgotton. I'm kind of neutral about Miku, don't hate her but I don't love her either. I think her outfit for this is awesome c:
She's been known for her original outfit for a looooooooong time; people will probably still draw her original.

Guys, we all need to grow up, and when Miku turns 19 this year, and So am I (and I'm about to change My UTAU to append as well [My Pigtails will be now gone on my new concept art that I'm working on]). So, as ACT6 for my UTAU is on the way, why don't we appreciate for what she's done as she grows up slowly to our culture.

Gais, it's an append. Like Act2 for the Kagamines. I'm pretty sure her official program retains the same old box art. Therefore, she retains her old style. This one's just a new style to go with her new voice appends.
And yes, Len and Rin are getting an append.
