It was twilight as the sun had set and the stars were glistening in the sky like diamonds. Aurora loved watching the night sky and twilight was her favorite time of all. She found it quiet and beautiful. This was a time where she could gather her thoughts and make decisions should she need to. Her favorite location for these late walks was along the beach where the warm water just barely touched the shore so her paws could enjoy the feeling. As she was taking one of her nightly walks she heard some movement in the sand behind her. She glanced behind and saw the silhouette of what appeared to be an adult fox.
"Hello, is there someone out there? Who are you?"Aurora called out cautious but curious.

Vic had been wathing the prety female following her for sometime. at the sound of her voice he stopped then slunk back into the tree line and walked just out of sight of her but watched her while he snuck up to just beyond where she was looking and snuck up behind her going into a low crouch he jumped on her "Rawr" he yelled as he hit her.and pinned her down noyt in a mean way just enough to scare her.

Aurora turned over onto her back in order to properly see her attacker. She shook off the pain of his hit and looked him straight in the eye. She noticed he had beautiful eyes. She shook her head trying to get herself to focus. "Who are you? What do you want?" Aurora demanded. She tried to remember the self defence tricks she had learned as a child.

"My name is Victor you can call me Vic." He said with a smile. He liked this female she was very pretty and she didn't get mad at him for playing a joke on her, well not as mad as most do. "what is your name?"

Aurora relaxed as he smiled playfully at her. 'Okay he was only playing a joke relax Aurora' She told herself.
She took a deep breath and then smile back. "My name is Aurora...it is nice to meet you Vic...but would you mind getting off my chest?" She chuckled softly.

" Oh ya sorry" he said laughing he forgot he was standing on her still. " so do you live around here?" he asked smiling at her then wrapped his tail around himself as he sat down.he looked at her prety eyes and the interesting designs aound them he had never seen a fox as pretty as she.he thought it might be rude to just say something like that not to mention he didnt want to look like a fool. then he realised he was still staring at her and that that was really rude of him."Sorry for staring...its just... your so pretty i couldnt help it." he ducked his head a little when he said this.

"Thank you," Aurora said as she moved into a sitting position and her tail wrapped around her as she sat on her haunches.
Aurora blushed as she noticed that he was staring at her. "Thank you..."She blushed when she was complimented by Victor,"I think you are very handsome myself...."She trailed off as she noticed the stars reflecting in his beautiful eyes. They glittered like diamonds. Her breath caught quickly as she noticed his eyes.

"you are welcome. " he said with a smile. "where were you heading when i stopped you?" he hoped he hadnt stopped her from going somewhere important.

She smiled back at him. "Actually I wasn't headed anywhere...I enjoy taking nice long walks when it is twilight outside. It is so beautiful to walk along the beach at this time of night" She gazed at the stars and turned slightly so her paws were resting in the gently moving water. "Where were you headed if you don't mind my asking?" Aurora blushed at asking him such a personal question. She hoped that he couldn't see her blush under the light from the moon and stars.

"i wasn't really going anywhere either i was just walking through the trees." he said with a smile he wished he could think of something to do with the pretty female. "can you swim?" he asked he loved to swim his father taught him when he was a kit.

"Yes I can swim, my dad taught me when I was a young kit". Aurora blushed..."One of my favorite things to do is take a late night swim..it is so romantic!"

Vic smiled "swimming is one of my favorite things to do.Would you like to go for a swimg? " He asked looking in the direction of the river.he really hoped she would say yes.

He smiled and had to resist the urge to jump for joy he was very happy to have her going for a swimg with him. he quickly led the way to the river and stood at the bank "after you " he said with a smile

Aurora smiled in return and followed Victor to the river. "Alright lets go!" She gracefully put her paw in the water testing the water and then with a flick of her tail slipped into the water making hardly a splash or ripple in the gentle river. "Are you coming in?" Aurora asked coyly.
