The music room is where the school stores its instruments, sheet music, and music stands. Its a sound proof room with a lofty ceiling and many chairs. There is no teacher's desk, and along two of the walls are lockers which hold different instruments and sheet music books.

Luna opened the door to the music room nervously, hoping no one was there. A sigh of relief escaped her lips when she saw her wish true. She stepped into the room and closed the door silently behind her, the chime from her Star sprite followed the sound of the shutting door. She gulped and asked, "I-is anyone here?" just to make sure no one was hiding. The star that danced around her flew ahead and landed on an ebony piano. There's no one here, it said telepathically, you can sing if you want.
Luna nodded towards her friend since birth and made her way to the piano, afraid to touch it's beautiful keys. She took in a deep breath and held it as she sat down on the seat. The sprite let out a jingle of amusment when it saw how hesitant she was to play the keys.

Otto could hear faint voices as she walked down the hallway, her heavy boots clicking and clacking against the floor. She didn't know where she was, something, or perhaps, someone had jammed her signal and prevented her from accessing the school's map data base. It was rather annoying and the voices didn't help. Coming to the end of the hall she saw the door to the music room and quickly flung it open to see if there was another way out of this cursed labyrinth.

Startled by the sudden outburst, Luna's fingers clumsily fumbled on the piano keys to see someone she didn't know. Her mouth opened to say hello, but she was still shocked at the surprise. She didn't know that anyone was going to come in on her, and right when she was about to play too.
"H-hello," she managed to say. He cheeks turned a light shade of pink when she realized how shaky her voice was. She was never good at talking to others because they all made her nervous. She hoped the way she reacted didn't offend her in any way. If it did, she wouldn't know what to do.

"Scanners detecting possible threats... Switching to lock-down mode in five, four, three..." Ran through Otto's head as her eyes first fell on the student, then the creature next to them, "S**t," She said as she felt her knee joints locking, though the lights above her stopped flickering, as she was sent into lock-down mode due to processing errors. Otto stood completely still, blocked from controlling her physical body and surrounded by darkness. This wasn't a very good first impression, she knew, but it could've been worse. That thought occurring, she started to try and unlock her systems.

Luna stared curiously at the robot, not sure what was happening. It was impolite to stare, but she had no clue what was happening. She stood as still as the robot, not sure what to do next. The robot seemed to have stopped working but she didn't know if she should get help or not. If she wanted too she couldn't anyway for it seemed that the robot was standing right in front of the door. "A-are you okay?" she asked, not sure if she was heard.

"I'm locked out," Otto thought to herself as she continued to try and unlock her systems and became even more frustrated when her systems locked her even farther out. It seemed she'd damaged the protocol system manager and in doing so she'd locked herself out perhaps permanently. Something shifted in her systems as two back-ups began to run and process data on the possible threat to her systems. "How long will this take?" Otto asked herself, not sure about what was happening in the area outside.

Luna tilted her head to the side as her Star sprite did the same. She took a step forward, not sure what to expect. Otto seemed to have stopped working, but why? She didn't like to be cause in these situations, she never knew what to do. Again, the idea of calling for help crossed her mind, but she still couldn't bring up the guts to do so. The thought of sending her friend for help could work, but she couldn't stand being alone with a stranger. She took another step forward, nothing happened.

"System ma/l/function, sh/hut-dow/wn eminent.... Shut-down complete.... System re/boot... Scanning for threats.... No threats detected..... System re/boot complete... RTTTtttT! Sorry 'bout that, I'm sure now that my systems must be damaged," Otto said as she regained control of her body and the lights above began to flicker, "My name's Otto McClang, its... Nice to meet you." Her hand shot forward a bit too fast, but that was to be expected after a reboot, and Otto waited for a response from the girl while her data systems began to search for information on them.

"L-luna Rosarin," she stammered. She jerked back when she saw how fast the hand appeared. She hesitantly took Otto's hand and tried to smile. "Are you o-okay?" she repeated, knowing she was heard this time. She shook her hand slowly, hoping the robot wouldn't smash her fingers, then let go. She wondered if anyone else was around the music area. Talking to one person at a time was enough for her.

"Well... I just went through a full-system malfunction followed by a crash, I assume, of course I'm fine. In fact I'm better then fine, my circuits are marveling at all the new data collected on the crash and its source! Its wonderful to meet you Luna Rosarin! Its a glorious day don't you think? Perhaps we should go out for a walk on the grounds!" Otto shouted happily as her circuits teemed with new information and brought up old formulas and blue-prints, it seemed that the malfunction could be traced back to a malfunction in processor three due to a chipped AI-41.5 block. Using that information Otto would have to preform maintenance, once she returned to her dorm later that night, as well as run another full system check to make sure nothing else had been damaged. If Luna had not been in the room, Otto might never have discovered the damage, or worse yet, Otto would have discovered the damage too late or in a combative situation where more damage would've occurred. A jolt of electricity ran up Otto's back, as she processed this, and the lights above flickered off for several seconds. Blissfully happy, Otto didn't notice much.

"O-okay," Luna stuttered, referring to the question about going out for a walk. She had wanted to explore the campus a bit before school actually started. "And what is y-your name?" she added. She had never met a robot before, so she was slightly afraid. But she was willing to try and make friends. The flickering lights startled her a it but she managed to settle herself down. Getting used to these things was something she would have to do. Otto seemed incredibly happy, Luna couldn't help but let some of that energy rub off on her. She smiled.

"My name is Otto, Otto Mc Clang serial number 402798.3! So, where do you want to go first? We could go for a walk in the forest or walk around campus and loook for ruins or we could just go for a walk! You pick!" Otto shouted happily her processors already working on a way for her to fix the AI-41.5 block that had been chipped, she counted the number of things she'd need to fix herself later and discovered that she'd probably need to head into town sometime. This made her even more joyous, since it meant more map development and more information to store in her files. Above her one of the flickering lights went out, then another one burst.

Luna was sort of taken back by Otto's response. She seemed so full of energy it was incredible. "I don't know," she said, opening up a little to the robot, "you pick." She actually stumbled into the music room by accident. It was a big campus and she had wandered into this building. After that, it was her Stare sprite that led her to the ebony piano in the center of the music room.

"W/Wandering the outside campus grounds sound like a good plan?" Otto asked as several more lights burst above her, the jammed code signals in her processors had been been expunged when she shut-down and so she was quickly able to pull up a map, "T/there's the main forest area... h/h/mm... it's dangerous t/though.... Would you like to t/try to find some ruins with me? We/we could compile d/ata on them and c/create maps!" Otto Mc Clang's processors ran partially, quickly determining the odds of encountering an aggressive or hostile creature or person in the main forest. Then it compiled known data on the school grounds. The place was dotted with small forests, but they didn't seem to pose much for danger. She grabbed Luna's hand, trying to be gentle, and pulled her out the door. "S/So much we can d/do!" She yipped excitedly.
