As the cruel chatter within her own mind became a faint whisper in the distance, still undermining her every move and thought, Gaiacentia was sure that the other was losing its hold on her mind, and she believed that was due to Cho..and there was no way anyone could make her believe any differently.
Her tail flickered behind her as she did her best to discard any remains from her kill, having eaten enough to keep her belly full for days and her blood-lust tamed for almost twice as long, she did her best to keep any signs of it hidden from Cho's glance. She didnt want to shatter his view on the world, or herself by reminding him of her beast like habits.
She glanced around, before she kicked the remains into the swift moving stream behind her, she turned to watch. Silently standing at rivers edge now, eyes that rivaled the color of the spring jade grass that danced around her hooves in the light spring, she gazed into the water...what a beast stared back at her..

Chowilawu quietly meandered in the direction he'd last seen his mate. He was a tad upstream from his beautiful gem, and the thought of her caused his pace to quicken. Though they'd been together for what seemed like a lifetime to the stallion, she could still cause his heart to race and feel like it was in his throat.
The small sploosh he'd heard was bound to be Gaia, and the flutter's pace quickened still. Without noticing, Cho allowed his wings to lift him and he floated hastily in the air above the river, the wind aiding his endeavor.
His face beamed at the sight of the mare, and he landed beside her. "Hello, my love." He didn't bother to inquire about the sound he'd heard. It didn't matter. All that mattered is their togetherness.

She grinned at the sight of him, her heart thudded against her ribs at a pace that made her almost choke with the need for air, but she couldnt help but press her face against his neck the moment he landed, close enough for her to just enjoy the feeling of him beside her.
She knew they were an odd pair, and the kalona within her cried out in fury at their love, but she listened to nothing but the sound of his heart, and her own...the rhythm of their beats a union of their love.
"I've missed you.." She said against him, careful her fangs didnt scratch his coat and mar the beauty of him.

His grin softened into a playful smile. He tried to nudge her, but failed. Instead he managed a nuzzle. "Hmm. Not nearly as much as I've missed you, my ruby. But I guess not as much will suffice."
He pulled away from her slowly, gazing carefully into her eyes. His already large smile grew. "Simply a stunning sight." Cho bumped his nose to hers and chuckled.
