This is something that has been on my mind for quite a bit. Have you ever found or noticed something in real life that you instantaneously related to the Touhou world, just by seeing it? As for me, I do it pretty often. For example, in this corner of the world it's autumn, and I'm beginning to get used to thinking about Shizuha everytime I see turning and falling leaves. Or thinking of raindrops against windows as danmaku. Or seeing mind's eye arms where there are headphone or earbud cords (yea, lame, I know…). Or this one I found yesterday... as soon as I read it I started thinking of sweet SDM yuri love: "…fear it, my dear sister,

Flowers grow in all seasons, not just summer. Yuka controls all flowers, not just sunflowers. So Yuka isn't a summer youkai.
Minoriko is still an Autumn youkai, just like Shizuha.
If there IS someone for Summer, they probably haven't been introduced yet.
