Lulu was pretty messed up in the head lately. She was starting to forget things her mothers taught her... oh how she missed them. She tried so so so hard to keep her memories of them whole but the more and more time she spent with Soro, the less she could recall.
All these thoughts were taken over by him. His thoughts and his rules... his ways. He was cruel and she hated him but... she couldn't bring herself to rebel. He had hurt her mother moray. She knew what he could do.
Dogo was happy to be alone now. He was young but he could handle it. Oh yes... he was so able to handle it. Except the fact he was tiny itty bitty and alone and cold... and hungry. He knew running away from his mommy was a baaaaaaad idea but... he was a big boy and could do it himself. Right... RIGHT?
Wrong. He sat huddled under a fern, sad puppy eyes shut as he trembled.. this sucked. He whimpered a little bit.
Lulu hadn't noticed the little puppy at all until he whimpered. Her head lifted up and she looked around, her eyes shifting. She hadn't heard anything like a puppy whine before and it was strange to her. She stood, looking around to make sure Soro wasn't around. She started to head towards the sound.
"Hello?" She asked, her voice low as to not be heard by Soro or the cubs... she wanted to know what this was and if it was a thread.
Dogo shivered a bit more under his fern, his little puppy legs tucked under and around him to keep them warm. But he was still cold. He sighed, shifting. Then a voice rang out and he stiffened, his eyes wide. Uh oh. A monster. It was going to eat him. He could tell. He looked around, spotting the lioness.
Oh no. "H-hello?" He called quietly, his little face peering out at her.
Lulu spotted the puppy easily where he hid. She stood and walked over, pity flashing across her face. Oh, a baby puppy thing. She looked around for Soro again. If he knew she had a secret he'd kill the poor thing. She noticed how scared he looked and slowed her pace. "Oh, Hi little guy... are you okay?" She asked not wanting to scare him.
"I'm not gonna hurt you sweety." She added.

He stared up at her and couldn't form any words. She was HUGE. His eyes became very wide and frightened cause holy crap, she was so much much bigger than him. He shivered a bit, watching her teeth flash as she spoke. Holy caboose. He licked his lips and wiggled close to the fern just in case.
"I'm um... I'm okay. Just hungry a little I guess..." He said, looking down at his toes and wiggling them, noting that their coloring was scary similar.
Lulu smiled down at him softly. "Oh poor thing... your hungry... well I can't just let you starve, come with me sweety." She said with a smile, reaching out her paw so he could sniff it. She knew sometimes it was easier to get used to things by smelling them. She didn't want to scare this pup away, especially now that she noticed how similar their pelts were. "I'm Lulu... I won't hurt you. I promise."
She smiled softly.
Dogo looked up at her, to her paw, then reached forward and sniffed it. She smelled nice and warm... like something he wanted to snuggle with. He took a tiny step/crawl towards her, his eyes looking up at her warmly. "Okay... I'm Dogo... Thanks Lulu..." He said softly, pressing himself against her warmth and smiling. Mmmmh.
"Can we snuggle a little first?" He asked. "I'm cold." He added, snuglging himself against her belly where she was really warm. He smiled.
Lulu watched the little pup crawl to her and snuggle against her stomach and she smiled, it reminded her of Mihr. She cooed, picking up the little puppy swiftly laying down so she could snuggle him to her chest. She rumbled in her chest, her eyes half lidded. "Of course we can snuggle sweety. You are probably so cold being all alone like you are... poor baby... Well Dogo I'll watch you as closely as I can and make sure you aren't hungry ever again... "
"Hows that sound?" She added, looking down at him

Dogo giggled softly as she picked her up, his little puppy paws wiggling wildly. He laughed, as she tucked him under her chin and wagged his little white tipped tail. "Thankies Lulu... I like your name it's really pretty." He said, shutting his blue eyes and leaning into her. He sighed, she felt like his mother.
"I can stay with you for a while..." He asked, looking up at her with a pleading look on his face.
Lulu smiled down at him. "Of course sweety. For as long as you want me too..." She said softly, pressing herself against him. "Lets sleep a little and then we will go get some food.. okay?
"Okay..." He said soflty. He pressed against her. "If you promise.. to never go away.
"I promise darling."
