Since there has been a serious lack of activity in the Guild the Crew and I want to know what you want to see happen for My Japan. Do you have idea's for Threads and Events ? I feel like it's discouraging for the crew too. When I don't see anyone else posting, It makes me not want to post because I don't want to seem like I'm being overbearing.
In other guilds, when there is little community, it feels like you're raising your hand in class when everyone else already knows the answer. That sort of thing. I think if more people posted more often then we'd be able to have more of a community again. Events and that sort of thing are sort of like icing on the cake.
It does make me sad though, because you don't have to be a steady member of the guild to win some fabulous prizes. :/ It's always free to enter unless the prizes are SUPER FABULOSO. But I digress. What disappoints me is something that I even am guilty of. I don't have the energy to come here because there is a lack of energy. Let's get the energy back. :3

Here's a few ideas:
A thread that helps people with questing
A contest where you have to say something unique about yourself
Create a banner for the guild that everyone can advertise

i want to suggest a music section, and mabey an OC event where everyones OC's can be active and get to know one another, somthing like that, and mabey have like an art contest for the banner that way it's unique like mabey someone could do a thing where for the banner and cover image it the members as anime characters. I know i would be more active if you added these things :3

I think that a lot of these ideas are good ideas and you may see a contest or so pertaining to them in the future. ^-^
We do already have a banner thread but I don't think we've held contests for making banners before.
iruke, when you say OCs, do you mean like roleplaying? I'm sure we can make a thread specifically for that in the roleplaying forum if you'd like us to. :3
Or, do you mean you want a roleplaying event?

I think we should have anime and manga sub forum, like a place for news on anime and manga and we can also talk about all the latest of our favorites.

Thanks for that great idea. We most likely will be incorporating that into our Event Subforum though. 3nodding Guild Events are often based on exterior holidays. 3nodding Kiyoshi Shouri Another idea is that we can have a special sub-forum to hold special Japanese events, you know like festivals and holidays.

Well, it's always nice to see familliar faces again you know? It doesn't matter how long it's been. :3
The only problem that comes up when it comes to events and stuff is funding it. Hm. See, we'd love to like... have events and stuff all of the time (like 24/7!) burning_eyes but it takes a lot of time and $$$ to plan and put on. So far, all of the prizes have come out of the crew member's pockets. Would you still be interested in events even if there wasn't an item or $$ prize involved? I know you can't speak for the entire community but we love feedback. ^-^

Edit: How about a Japanese literature thread? I've read Japanese folklore before and I absolutely love it! Or maybe a thread devoted to all the Japanese/Asian related Gaia items and their origin? And maybe a thread for all other Asian countries and Asian news?

Hm. Do you know much about literature? Why don't you go on ahead and make that thread since Yama and I don't know as much about it? If you have ideas like that you should go ahead and do it! It sounds like a lot of fun. ^-^
