A nice cool lake to just sit back and relax. Be careful though- The water nymphs are a bit tricky.

 Adonia stepped forward into the lake's cooling waters, panting slightly in the sticky humid heat around her. She steadied the canoe beside her, trying to prevent it from floating away. Fanning herself, she clambered into the canoe, picking up the paddle and propelled the canoe into a shady spot in the lake, where a few trees hung over the water. She leaned back in the canoe, closing her eyes, bathed in the green and gold dappled light the tree's leaves provided.
She opened her eyes, holding out her pale arms, watching the gold and green light dance on her skin, which provided a clear canvas for the color. Her eyes turned bright, bright blue, matching the sky above her. She leaned over slightly, the canoe wobbling.
Without much warning, the canoe capsized over and she landed with a splash into the cold green water. Laughing like a maniac, she swam up to the surface, climbing onto the upturned canoe. She shook back her hair, shivering slightly, but smiling. She was definitely a lot cooler now.

Kevin walked onto the beach just in time to see Adonia's canoe capsize. (I bet we can use the word capsize like 20 times in 5 posts!) He grinned and walked onto the shore of the lake. He sat down in the sunlight, about a foot away from the lake, watching his shadow flicker as he sat down. "Nice!" He yelled out to her. "How's the water?" He asked, though he had no intention of getting wet.
((Zomg wtf eyes?!?!))

"Freakin' awesome!" She yelled back, obviously pleased. "What's up?" She said, turning the capsized canoe over and swimming back to shore.
She flopped down onto the sand and looked up at a passing cloud. Before fanning out her hair, which slapped the sand like seaweed. She buried her toes into the sand and closed her eyes, enjoying the sun pressing against her wet skin.

"Not much." He said. He turned and looked at her. He blinked and his eyes widened slightly, before blinking again and staring out towards the lake. "Woah relax, you're gonna get me wet." He said jokingly, though he was serious. (That didn't make that much sense). "So, whatcha been up to these days?" He asked, with a yawn. He squinted as his eyes met a ray of sunlight. He leaned back into the sand and ran his fingers through it, hitting a small rock with his index finger.

"Not much besides training," Adonia answered, looking up at Kevin through lowered eyelids. "And capsizing my canoe." She said, sitting up and yawning as well.
"Pity we're in such a hopeless war, the weather's too nice to make much of a fuss."

Yea, that sounds about right." Kevin said, without opening his eyes. "So...what's it like having sand in your hair?" Kevin asked, seeing her black her hanging into the sand. "I wanna go on another quest. Camp is getting boring. Also...do you think these lame camp tees come in any other colors?" He asked, yawning.

Adonia shrugged over the whole, 'sand in hair' thing. She'd just take a shower later. "Yeah, I miss the quests," she sighed. "Maybe your dad will give you one. And as for the tees..." she thought for a moment. "I don't really know. I know that the nymphs get green ones." She curled up into a ball, her chin at her knees.

"Maybs." He said. "You know, you-..." He stopped himself abruptly. "Meh...nevermind. You probably don't care." He said, sitting up and facing the water. The sun reflected on the water, leaving a glittering, bright skin of water atop the lake.

Gabriel slowly walked over to the shore of the lake, squinting slightly at the sunlight that reflected itself off the glistening surface of the water. Being outside during the summer wasn't his cup of tea, but he figured it would be nice to get out for awhile instead of being couped up in his icy cold cabin. As he trotted down, he turned to see Adonia and Kevin lying on the beach. He averted his route and walked towards them.
"Hey Kev...Adonia." he greeted as he sat down on the sand. "What have you two been up to lately?" he added.

"Just chillin' for now, at least until something happens." He said. "Or rather, until something interesting happens. Been training a bit. Ran 5 miles today. How about you? What've you been doing?" He asked, pulling up the rock that he hit earlier while digging through the sand.
((Kevin's actually sitting, go figure.))

"Same old, same old. Doin' a bit of training myself too. Mainly on my combat style, but some flying practice here and there is nice too." He responded towards Kevin.
"Tell me about it. I really want to go on a quest soon. Maybe it will liven things up at Camp. Nothing but drama from one side of the cabins to another..." he added, laying back on the sand and squeezing his eyes shut so the sun didn't blind him.

"Heh, yea. I can fight a few different ways, most favorable is the 'Go for the throat' style. Which is one that only somebody like me or Adonia could do. But yea, it's kinda boring. I got some new Adidas Skywalkers this week. Check em' out." Kevin said, showing Gabe his orange and white Skywalkers. "They match this obnoxious orange shirt, and make it less awful." He said, grinning.
