Certain things we need to clear up.
1. Lady GaGa is a attention whore.
Nope.You may say:"Oh that is just your opinion." but consider this:
A lot of her music isn't groundbreaking, I will admit that. But it is still good for what it is (In other words, she does it better.). The lyrics to quite a few of her songs actually go a lot deeper than what they may seem, same for her videos. There have been detailed analysis of all the symbolism she integrates into her videos, it's not just bat s**t randomness. Same can be said for her costumes.
When you consider the sheer amount of creative energy and money she puts into these costumes and performances, there's no way she's doing it for just the attention.If she just wanted old-fashioned infamy, there is always sex-tapes and reality shows!
2.All those interviews are all scripted and she is just another puppet of the music industry.
There is only so much a record label can control and if they go to far, most artist leave or at least some do. If you think of Lady GaGa as a salaried artist then we do have a problem..A actual salaried artist is the "Pussycat Dolls" a group that can be easily manipulated whenever the music company wants.Lady GaGa cannot be so easily bent to her label's will, it's just the nature of her work can't be tampered with. Push comes to shove, if she ever ran into a serious issue with her label, she would most likely ditch, not like she can't start her own record label like Karin Dreijer Andersson did.
3.She's a hermaphrodite.
Honestly? All the "evidence" is nothing but extremely poor quality photos and bad photoshop.
Doesn't matter anyway.

5.She doesn't design all her outfits.
This is very true actually! Many of her outfits come from a variety of fashion designers, one being Alexander McQueen(RIP)
But that is not to say that she doesn't design her own stuff.She does design a majority of her sets and outfits.
6.She uses autotune.
The main criticism for autotune stems from artist who cannot have a career without it.I am not kidding when I say that some artist cannot sing AT ALL so they lip sync or don't do live performances for that very reason.
This is not the case for Lady GaGa. I've already shown you examples of her acoustic work and performances so that's settled. Lady GaGa actually pens and composes her songs on the piano first then sends them off to the computer. Autotune is mainly for polishing which is good as long as you don't overdo it. If you're smart you will use autotune to actually improve or create something fun and catchy but without taking away from the song.
Lady GaGa and Roisin Murphy both do this within their songs.
7. Product placement in the Telephone Video
Gaga explained that the video was to be taken more lightly and more as comedy. Most of the products used on there were used on Gaga's own will and that she wasn't paid to show them.
She also explained how it was about Americans not being able to give up all this food, technology, and how our society is inundated by all of it.
Rihanna was one of the celebs to talk about how she disapproved of product placement in videos. She didn't specifically say Gaga's Telephone video, but I don't think she would talk about it out of the blue after the Telephone video anyway.
8. She doesn't write her own songs.
Nope. She does, but there were a few songs that Redone helped her with on "The Fame" album. Other than that, it's all straight from her brain.
