This is a tale of heroes and villans, and war. A holy war between good and evil, between the cults of the demigods, Sentiel and The Overseer. Sentiel's Infernal Nation, and The Benovelent Order of the Overseer were at war even though thier gods were now mortal.

The path of the heroes contains jeprody, for thier lives are being threatened by the dark forces at work in the world of Gaia. Now is the time to rise against the darkness, and destroy it.

Hello, my name is Aleta Rose, and I have quite a story to tell.

I am a dark elf, age 16. I'm not your typical gaian elf, for I am on the side of the light. My entire family left the dark practices of out kind centuries ago. My great granfather came into possesion of a mysterious object called Sentiel's Box. A spirit of some sort gave it to him, and bound his soul to it. She said he was pure of heart, and strong enough to keep it safe.

My family has been at war ever since.

You see, my family, The Clan of Roses we call ourselves, has a rivalry between another, more rich, more powerful clan of Dark Elves. Everthing between theme ended in death, tragedy, and sorrow... the horrors my eyes have beheld...

They killed them... they killed them all... and I watched. I was nothing but a child after all, and I couldn't do anything to protect them. My dear Eziekiel... my big brother... he warned them not to hurt me in his last words...

A few years ago, my entire family was murdered while I came home from a freind's house. I watched from the window...

How could they? They were after Sentiel's Box. Yes, the very thing that had imprisoned that wreched goddess! Little did they know my family had lost possesion of it 50 years ago. I know now it had been stolen by Jack, and that kicked off the holy war that tore my world, Gaia, apart.

But I'll save that for later. Now, they captured me, and tested me for an ability I didn't know I had. I could control Light. So they let me go, for I was a child and they thought i couldn't take care of myself. Soon, the Zurg came to my world, and one took me in, and hid me in her ship. She rented me an apartment years later, and I lived in Duram.

I met my lover, Rafeal fighting the animated a few years later when I was about 14 1/2. He'll tell you all about that. I didn't know he was a Valeresso at the time. I had no family, and I could do anything I wanted. I had a job, and I was content.

All until war errupted in October of last year.
I had learned that Sentiel had been released into the world, and was wreaking havoc upon the world. Then, another god arose.

The Overseer! That little clam that we kept in our aqariums was actually a powerful demigod, and it was his duty to protect the world, he had been watching, waiting, until Sentiel was unleashed. Now was the time for heroes.
So I went to war. My family would be proud. My father taught me how to fight, and my mother taught me how to make potions, how to heal, and how to poison. The things they taught me would become useful.
I fought my heart out, and slew many demons.
I killed one of my family's killers even... which was traumatic. I have forgotten most of it... even his face. I once knew his name... now I can't remember. ((It was Zethriel, he is immortal, and has risen again. She thinks he's dead, but she is wrong...))

Alas, but we lost. I fell to, due to a foolish move on my part. I almost died from my wounds, just like the army I was a part of. but thankfully, I had freinds. I befreinded a demon. I am surprised that some had left Sentiel's side to fight with us, instead of against us.

I met another kindly demon and his servant, Duriono and Kagura. They became my best freinds, and we fought together. I also met a werewolf who called herself Aura, but her name is Kyra. She and I have a bit of a rivalry. Kyra is a double agent, and I will never trust her, even though I think she is truely on our side now... her sister helped me in the most recent battle. Then there is Zero, a reaper. He and I don't talk much, but he's a freind of the others. He is neutral, and will help all of us no matter on whose side we're on. Then there is June, a half angel. I question her loyalty... although she is kind I think. Duriono fell in love with her, and I can't say they make a bad match. They're good together, and I like to see that people can still love eachother in the midst of war.

Now what happened after that... well, we went on raids and spy missions, and fought back raids and armys that fought against us.

I have come of age now, I'm 16. I have, what we call, Awakened. That happens to elves with special powers. And I control Light. It is a result of me being a fire elemental in a past life, and the element had been embedded in my soul. I do not know the extenet of my abilities, but I shall learn. The other elves think I am the legendary Lightbringer, one of the many that have arisen to cast away Darkness.

We used to live in the tavern, but that is gone now, and that place is nothing but a memory. It was destroyed in a raid upon Barton lead by the Valeresso Clan. rafeal's brother Zethreil Zethreil, where have I heard that name, seen that face before? Ezzy told me that was the mand who killed him but didn't I kill lhim before!?!?!

Anyway, wheather that was really him or not, I cannot say. Rafeal killed him that time. He thought I was dead, and in a fit of rage and sorrow, he struck his own blood down. For me...

I sustained injuries in that fight, and I can't think straight...

Does Zethriel still walk the earth? Is he somehow immortal? I'll find out later I suppose....

Kyra and Yumi are 895 of age (do to their Fathers expiriment in an attempt to not lose them),but they look around 16-18. When they where six their mother passed away due to cancer. They were left alone with their father,Seiden Haru (aka the Sentinel's Angel) who is one of the Sentinels most trusted captain and he is in power of a large SIN army. He also exceeds in the science field. The Haru Twins didnt really have a childhood,since they spent their time training,studing,or woking.
A couple months ago,Kyra was sent under cover by Seiden to infiltrate the Tavern as Aura. She managed to stay hiden for sometime,but she was suspected by Aleta,who suspected of her since she sensed the taint on Kyra. After the months of no reports Seiden sent Yumi,Kyra's twin sister. Yumi didnt report either and Seiden went to the tavern,and did more bad than good,since he blew the twins cover.
After the tirade the Twins decided to join the group,but to the current day they are unsure of to which group they belong to.

I guess know that I've come this far, I should recap on my adventure.... Well first off: My name is Duriono, I'll respond to Duri, or D' but my favorite nickname is Duri. I'm about 565,000 years old, but yet I look sixteen, gonna look seventeen pretty soon! Anyway, my duty, is to protect the gateway into the demonic realm, or S.I.N. realm... Its really not as bad as people say. As a demon myself, I know the demonic plain as a beautiful world, filled with odd creatures, and, well.. Demons! They're more sophisticated than you think. Its just the vast number of rogues attacking humans is what gives them such a bad name. I know what your thinking, "Uhh Duri, your going way off topic.." But I'm actually not. So, I'm the protector of the pathway to the demonic plain, and the sight of demons being persecuted as evil beings makes me sick to my stomach..
So, I just sit infront of a big door, protecting it from hunters ect. ect. Until one day, I get sick of it, I leave, and the gate cracks, spewing out a vast majority of S.I.N's demon armada. Whoops! Thats a secret... If anybody knew, then I think they'd think I did it on purpose.
So, I end up be friending a mercenary group, and I take them with me on several jobs. Oh, yeah, I became a Merc to help people, and earn some extra cash.
So long story short, I join B.O.O and during the war, I took up refuge in Zadea's tavern, there I befriend Aleta; a dark elf and one of my greatest friends, a symbol of redemption, Chaz; another dark elf, Ryou; a demon a symbol of goals, Mimsy; .....I'm not sure what she is..... But she's a symbol of consequense, June; a half angel -who I love deeply.. I pledge to stay bg her side no matter what- a symbol of light, Zero; a reaper, a symbol of death -obviously- Yumi and Kyra, twin werewolves, symbols of rebellion, and my faithful sidekick Kagura! A symbol of innocence!

Ok, so after the loss, I end up becoming depressed, why? That, I won't tell. So I soon end up leaving, and coming back three months later. Where I'm still depressed, but Heo, my second soul, accompanies me. So, June tries to show me the brighter side of things, but I show minimal progress, until she actually tells me the truth behind Heo, we fight him, and win. So, after some other events, Kagura falls out of my closet, she starts calling me Master, and she becomes my little sister... expensive though... She'll eat everything, she'll break everything, and drive you insane, but she's a cute little girl. So, after some more events, I tell June how I feel.
And after even more events, Heo returns in my Dad's corpse, we fight, and I win, but Kagura disappears. She attacks me, calling Zephyr (the leader of Kei, a demon hunting guild, out to create the ultimate human and eliminate all other races,) Master. So, I fight her, and get her back, but soon after the Valleresso arrive, they destroy the tavern after ransacking the place, forcing us to escape. So we separated from Aleta and Rafeal, we ran into Mimsy, and then take refuge in a small settlement for a few days. Zero's Dopple arrives, defeats us, then is sent away by Zero. Then Kagura tells me her ambitions to surpass me, and then runs off, to train, but then she gets attacked by a member of Kei, and wins, we return, but Zero's nowhere to be seen... so we pack up and leave, due to Kei knowing our location. We then drive off to regroup with Aleta.

Kei.., Zephyr, he's gonna play his ace soon..

Kagura: the artificial demon.

Kagura isn't actually Duriono's brother, she's an artificial demon created in project fallen angel, Duri sets her free with many other subjects, and leaves her to distract pursuing Kei soldiers, and doesn't see him again until Duri returns to the tavern.

I have a secret.
My name, to those who know me in the tavern, is June Malatesta. But those in S.I.N. Know be by something else. To them I am Liedanael Redeasemba, the angelic songstress prophet once a great general of an unknown sanction of S.I.N.
I ran away.
I ran to the tavern, concealing the brute darkness of the bloodthirsty follower of the Sentinel I am. No one found out for a while, and I'm not convinced they fully understand yet.
A man by the name of Barbarus, whom I believe a cat for how many times he's survived death, incessantly tries to get me to return to S.I.N.
But will I go?
I have been plagued. Barbarus had threaded out the darkness I kept hidden, surfacing it through his shadowy abilities. It's hard for me to control the darkness, leaving me with constantly diminishing chances of being normal again.
Can someone save me?
I have an iron will, but even that will is clouded by shadows at times...
I met a demon named Duriono, I call him Duri for short, and from what I can infer he will do anything, and stay by my side no matter what happens. Sometimes I think he is the blindest to my plague.
I kill...And I love that, the scent of human blood splattered accross the rooms...countless corpses now whose deaths bloody my hands indefinitely....
I care not for what they felt. I care not for anything but my pleasure of seeing the terrified faces of my victims, hearing the screams as my axe swipes through their flesh! Hahahaaha! Fear me! For you all who follow the Overseer will perish at my blade!

My name is Rafeal Valeresso the Second. I am the son of a onece powerful elf-lord, who I am named for, but I don't treat my name with much honor. See, the way of my kind, the Dark Elves... lets just say we live up to our names. They deal in black magic, and contracts with beings from the Underworld. So I ran away. I was sick of it all... they were so destructive. Everything they did felt so... wrong. I lived with forrest elves for the longest time, and when i turned 15, I left to live on my own, and look at the world outside, you know, because i thought I was a man and all. rolleyes

It wasn't exactly puppies and rainbows... many a bad fate had befallen the land. Creatures called The Animated had arisen, and were invadeing our world, so I joined the fight. That lead me to my fate as it is today.

I found these wierd looking animals... they weren't animated because I couldn't hurt them with my rings. So I took out my sword, and started to kill them off. They seemed to work with the animated who were also present in that immediate area. Something behind me pushed me to the ground and I fell on my blade.... ouch. It peirced my chest. I thought I was done for until she came.

There was a flash of blue and white, and black. I thought it was a vampire at first but no! It was another Dark Elf! I had closed my eyes after she had bent down to look at me, she yelled and shook me a little bit... I found her very beutiful... I felt myself leave my body, then I was draged back. I woke up in a room, lying on a bed. The girl had been watching me from a chair. She was wearing a white dress and a blue corset. Very beutiful indeed. "You're a tough one aren't ya? I thought you were dead for sure... but I don't know what it is about you... with any other Dark elf, I would've let him die, but you're different, aren't you?" Then I sw that pendant around her neck. 3 black roses on white. That was the crest of the Rose Clan.

I thought they all died! Thier slaughter was the reason I left! I asked her for her name- "Aleta Rose"

I knew I couldn't tell her my identity, so I just made one up... sweatdrop I thoughty she would kill me if she knew I was her enemy's son. She nursed me back to health, and we started dateing after that.

Then the war came, and we were separated. I if my family found her or me, we would be killed. I would be killed because I was with her, thier enemy, and she would be killed because she is an obsticle in thier way of getting what they want. The Roses always have been... The best way for us to stay hidden was to be apart.

So we were I played no major part in the war, although I pledged my loyalty to B.O.O.

Later, I helped organise a small army of soldiers to help Aleta and her freinds. they went on a spy mission, and came back with new information. They knew about Aleta and how she is the Lightbringer, one who asts away darkness useing thier powers. My family wants to kill her because she is the one thing stading in thier way of power. I will do anything to protect her... I love her so... I am willing to put my own life on the line to save hers. I feel as if she's more valuable than I, although she would say otherwise.

Speaking of powers and awakening and all that, I discovered I control ice. I think it follows the same rule as Aleta's... elements imbeded into the soul. Elementals are just born like that, sometimes its within families. Apparently we were both like that in a past life. I will do my best to put this ability to its best use.

There was another raid on Barton, and they were looking for us again.
