"Welcome to to Dragon's Nest. I will be your host, name's Heyen, no last name. To all those lovely ladies out there, I shal lkiss your hands. Male I care not for." Shouted a middle-aged man. He was much older than he appeared, but he was stunning in appeareance, and very flirtacious.
"..Same as always.." Dark muttered, casually taking a quick glance about.
Alcohol lingered heavily in the air, people shouting and laughing through the drinks as they shared laugh or pranks. Behind the counter was a large selection of wines. Dark was tempted, but refused the sin. This place was rather in control. He never really had to worry about this place. Heyen was always on top of things..like now.
"Hey, you! What the ******** are doing to that child." In a moment's noticed Heyen disappeared and tossed a man out of his tavern and into the streets. Heyen was known to be the bouncer of the Dragon's Nest, as well as the owner. His grey-colored eyes never missed anything, and his superior speed and strength to most was astonishing.
Of course..something about the man always bugged him. He didn't know what.
The lights flickered dimly, but readjusted themselves to brighten the room as if the complaints of the drunkards caused it to work. The windows were always covered with a heavy cloth, keeping the room only lit with the lanterns that hung on the ceiling.
To the side of the counter were the restrooms, which always smelled like vomit and liquor until the next morning, then reverted to its grotesque smell as the day continued on.
This place was fine. Next stop would be the Mall in South Sanctum.

"As I said the whole point in having the bracelets is to define you as friendly. Sanctum is surrounded by an invisible barrier that alarms certain individuals in Central Sanctum. From them, the Mayor is alarmed, and from the Mayor others are alarmed. If the threat is great, then I'm alarmed but I really rather stay out of Sanctum's affairs.." The last time he had interfered he was idolized by these people. Which is why the tavern was known as the 'Dragon's Nest', is appreciation for Dark's past endeavors. Not only that, the top of the tavern was clue to it to. There's weren't many dragon species in Sanctum as far as Dark knew, and yet there was a dragon statue peeking out from the sign of the tavern. And yet it was funny since in actuality Dark could not transform into one. He opened the door and allowed the Clown to go in first. "Careful with that nose of yours, Vampire." Dark named. that was one thing he was a bit envious for: Dawn had heightened senses, not to mention he was practically a day-walker as well. Of course..it wasn't like he was the most natural of vampire. Not even close.. The smell of liquor thickened once he opened the door; Dark even had to close his eyes to concetrate from whoozing over. How this place got this strong of a smell was always beyond him. He only supposed that it was because those who drank here would drink much more than humans... Sometimes he wondered how Heyen could keep up with all of them. I wonder where the guy is anyways.."So whenever you get the chance, get your Identification just to keep yourself out of harm's way. I do dislike trouble because then the Mayor bothers me."

"Nice place..." I said lowly "smells like the coaches office back in Grailsbane..." "Oh right the way I got here, I fell from the sky" I pointed towards the stars and placing my other hand in my pocket with a frown. "So who do I talk to to get me a bracelet?"

"Don't remind me.." He groaned. Everytime he thought back he couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over him. First year was fun, but after their Intermediate it all turned to s**t. He's never gone back to the ruins of Grailsbane, nor did he really care to. He turned to Dawn when he stated how he arrived, and all that Dark could do was blink, grin and scratch his cheek. "Fell from the sky.." He didn't know how to respond to that. "Lilion. He's outside of Sanctum boundaries. The kid can take care of himself so I'm not worried about the stray monsters that are bound to attack him. He's a little pissy sometimes so don't mind him if he snaps at you. He's young.." Funny to hear him say that. Not that he was saying he was mature or anything but it was the best way that he could talk. "So, what do you mean you fell from the sky?" He asked, jumping over the counter without much care. That alone drew stares from the tavern patrons but he knew that they wouldn't act. His reputation was just well-known, and they didn't want to attack. Doing so would be like trying a coup de etat with Sanctum. "..You want liquor or a normal drink?"

"Just a normal drink will do" I said sitting across him. The smell was already intoxicating, and the stabbing stares were annoying, some murmuring to each other while looking in our direction. "Lilion? Lili.. heh." "I was in a pirate ship, dont ask why. I was in the engine room when the ship blew up near the atmosphere." "I heard something I didnt want to hear while on the ship.." I looked at my friend and muttered "someone with the ability to control and manipulate the darkness in peoples hearts is forming a army, sound familiar?" I said remembering a familiar incident.

"Lili.." Dark scoffed, pulling out a glass of water and sliding it down the counter until it stopped directly in front of the Broadwielder. "I'll get you some lemonade right now..as soon as I find it.." He informed, listening to the rest of the Clown's story.
When was the last time he'd been in a pirate ship? Hmm..too long. Then again he always flew over the seas. Even as he continued to listen he didn't stop doing what he was. "Him again.." Dark muttered.
The thoughts fluttered quickly in his mind, but that didn't stop him from making the lemonade. "..I don't like fighting him. Unlike me he has full control of darkness, and can have an entire army at his disposal within minutes. The armies usually aren't that tough, but the fact that his darkness is nearly always negative and he can draw it not only from people but from matter." Dark sighed, bowing his head with the output. "I can only take control of so much darkness and that's only if I sync my Aura into it. Even then.." He finally stopped and stared at a glass of lemonade he poured for himself. "..He'll just over power me." He wouldn't lie about that.

"....." I remembered our battle against one of our own. "The time I tried fighting him on my own... he almost took hold of me, and I went berserk on him for a while, although I lost. I wonder how much control I have over myself now." As I talked I could feel my blood pulsing from the thought. I could sense him. He was growing stronger. "Thnx" I said as Dark looked for the lemonade. "I guess its a good thing I ended up here, because the last thing I heard was that he was also working on trying to make a army of dragons." I pondered on it for a bit "Normal dragons are rare, hell almost extinct unless you go to hell for one" I squeezed my nose in irritation from the booze around me. "Hes got a necro on his side, he might go grave digging and make a army out of dead dragons" I said. "And I think we know who the necro is to... Reyko, crazy little b***h"

Dark also remembered. Back then he didn't think Ryko would be so powerful but he was. And with the accumulated sadness and anger within himself Ryko could easily feel and use it. The best thing to do when you're fighting him was to keep calm. It wouldn't mean that the guy was powerless but it wouldn't make him too strong. "Dragons and a necromancer to help him revive the dead, I assume. He's making a pretty powerful army.." He muttered, placing the glass of lemonade beside his friend. It was odd how he felt so indifferent about the matter. He should be worried, right? Why didn't it bother him? "I only know of a couple of dragons nesting, or rather slumbering. On in a distant sea, in the depths of the water; one in snowy mountains. There's this other dragon known as Legend of the Sky. She isn't slumbering rather wandering. Legend of the Sky is known more of a myth since she has never been tracked down." He paused. "Dragon's aren't as often around as back in the deathly old ages, but they still live undetected until their scales begin to fall. I'm sure there's more but...they are just dragons. Unlike me, who's has a human form, they can't simply travel the world." He poured some lemonade for himself and sat on the counter. It was then he saw Heyen flirting with a trio of girls. Very attractive ladies, and they seemed to be playing cards. By the looks of their eyes they were already stricken with alchohol, but they were enjoying themselves. Heyen probably will too.. "Reyko. Take away the 'E' and that spells Ryko.." He scoffed, simply musing. "The name is foreign to me. Do you know who she is?"

"Not sure but I just remember her from the academy. She has some death fetish or something." I took the glass and took a big gulp, as I put it down I saw the reflection I noticed some people still gossiping while giving me cold stares. "Hmm I doubt he's stupid enough to mess with those big shot dragons. I relaxed my muscles and tapped my head trying to remember Reyko. "I remember she was in some special program in the academy, I only heard of her because she got in a bitchy mood one day after an exam, she and Ryko both got high scores and their names were high up on the list. Ryko got the higher score tho. For some reason she was bothered by it and in time she started following him around in the shadows." I took another sip before continuing. "Since their names were only a letter different people made comments like 'oh they must be siblings' or something like that, Ryko commented back in a rude manner, pissed her off bla bla bla, cant remember the rest. Its a whole ark covering her heh"

"Dragon's are dragons. Their always a b***h to fight, even the regulars.." Saying that only threw him back to the fight with his father. How easily he had agreed to help his home village to kill him. It should have bothered him but he wondered why it didn't. Over time he shrugged it off but now it was bothering him again. Back then he didn't have much power. Little use of his Aura and his own flames, but compared to his father and the power of the Chaos Dragon it was nothing. It was after his father's death that Dark really became stronger. Being infused with not only the Chaos Dragon but a hundred souls was a great benefit and without that he regretted to say that he would probably not have been able to beat their Seniors back then. Ah, and how can he forget about his father's fang? That was how he forged the Chaos Blade. He realized that he was staring at his lemonade, watching it was he spun moved the cup in circles with a turn of his wrist. Dawn's words were distant to his ears but did reach him. "..I still don't remember. But if it travels to here then I'll probably have to learn about her. Shouldn't be too hard.." Again, he wasn't worried. Maybe because he was feeling rather dead.. "I wonder what the guy's up to though.." He muttered, mainly speaking to himself as he took another sip of his lemonade.

"I'm sure he won't act until he feels he has enough to back himself up. That's how he is..he wouldn't be so reckless like you." Dark stated as he finished his lemonade. "Anyways.." "Dark, my son!" A voice suddenly called from the other room. It bothered him, the name, but he lifted his gaze to look upon the middle-aged Heyen. The girls he was with were gone, which suprised him. "Heyen.." Dark replied as the man walked towards them. "I see you brought a friend. He's new here isn't he?" The man asked, taking a quick glance at Dawn. The smile he always wore soon began to fade, and his eyes hardened the longer he looked towards the grey-haired man. You don't often see two people with the same color of hair.. Dark thought to himself. "That's a look you shoot your enemy, Heyen, and that this guy is not." Heyen scoffed and turned away, "His kind are always an enemy of mine."

"Yea well..." I let go of the Ryko topic and noticed the Heyen person walking over here. enemy? I thought. My hand holding the glass cup twitched but I managed to guise it by shaking the cup again. "Nice to meet you to, mister" I said with a light emotionless grin

Heyen's eyes narrowed viciously, and like a snake eyeing its potential prey looked upon Dawn. The air shifted, and everyone among the tavern seemed to feel the discomfort. Dark alone avoid looking towards Heyen, but to everyone around to make sure no one was looking. But it couldn't be helped. Everyone wanted to see what would happen. "That's enough, Heyen. He is not an enemy. The reason you consider him so is rather..trivial." He would have thought that Heyen would keep his eyes from being so dead-set but when the man looked at him he still felt the mild anger building inside of him. Pressure began to weigh heavily upon the tavern, the display of wine shaking, some suddenly breaking. Others were already getting up and ready to leave but the tremor weakened, and Heyen smiled. "Well..If you say so." With the subject now dismissed the man walked past Dawn, the pressure now settling only around him and the Broadwielder. Though Dawn had his back to him Heyen glanced towards him, the cup upon Dawn's had cracking then broke into shards. Soon after that the pressure disappeared and Heyen proceeded along to the other side of the tavern. Dark watched. "Didn't cut yourself, did you?" He asked, still staring towards Heyen. Everyone in the tavern was going back to their seats, and their voices once again came alive.
