"Oooh lalah~ Look what we have here, Brothers!" Rang a tiny and high-pitched voice.

"Two ladies we have here! Twofemaleswemayeat! Hehehahaha!" Another voice rang out in the same pitch rang out.

From behind rocks and holes imp like beasts stepped out, their bodies with a furry brown but their ribs and bones prominent behind their thin skin. With large hairless heads they continued to surround the springs in a silent motion, their thin tails flailing excitedly behind them.

"Do we share?" One imp asked from a top of a rock, its bulgy red eyes glaring down hungrily at the two swimmers. "Icaneatonewhole! Hyah!" It hissed, baring its bone crushing fangs to gleam in the sun that shone above them.

"No, we share!", "I will have the leg!" "Give me the arm!" "I want the head!" They chanted as they continued to circle the largely stretched springs, coming to a sum of twelve beasts in total, but their size was just a three feet threat, but claws and talons large and deadly.

Every imp witness their own kind perish, but rather than fear the two ladies they jumped and flailed excitedly.

"Fear them not me brothers! We've got them outnumbered. We'vegottheoutnumberedsotheywillperish! Kehahaha!"

With their excitement a couple of the imps dived into the hotsprings, and like expert swimmers darted towards Hakumei with incredible speed, leaping out just before they reached the corner to slam and tackle the girl. The rest of the goblins chose to run across the springs in leaps and bounds, their glowing red eyes glaring at Shikyo with flailing tongues.

"Eat the brave girl! Eat and tear out her heart! Hiayaa!!" They cried in sync, those who were the fastest outstretching their claws and legs to hug the naked girl to take her down while the rest of the imps were still catching up.

"Hiiiiss! This not supposed to happen!" One of the imps whined, taking steps back rather than forward.

"Their superior.."

"Superior they are!"

"Inferior to us they will be!!" Another one hissed from the remaining group, and just as if the rest of the imps knew what they were talking about they nodded and returned into their excited chatter.

"yes yes! Tasty flesh our teeth shall have! YESYESYESYESYESYES!" THey all chanted and piled together. In a radiant purple light they were all engulfed, and shaped themselves into one solid being.

With a low growl a massive form of an imp pulled itself to it's feet, towering a clean 8 feet with a contradictive built body than the previous imps. With muscles now chiseled brilliantly it pounded its hands to the ground for an attempt to knock the girls down to their feet with a small tremor.

"FEAST YOU WILL BE!" It's voice boomed. In that same breath it inhaled a huge sum of air in a brief vaccuum before releasing a gale of toxic breath towards the two demon females.



He was right in returning to the mountains. Even though there was nothing of a big threat he was positive he would find something. A naked girl and another one in their underwear fighting imps was not what he was expecting, however.

In a silent hum Dark zipped past the battle that was unfolding beneath him, his eyes intent to see if the girls needed his help. But from what it was looking now the imps were the one who needed help.

He veered in a slow turn from his Dragonboard, keeping high enough to keep himself hidden from view. Once the imps formed into one Dark ascended a little higher until he paused.

It's demon energy quickly jumped.. He thought as he turned to the two girls. ..I wonder if I should step in. If this thing continues to shoot it's energy up these springs will no longer be here. It'll be disturbed...

His reaction was slow. Without knowing that he had somehow alerted the two female skinny dippers the head of his dragonboard was hit, one of the fangs having been chipped off and he spun through surprise.

Gaining his balance he swerved and looped until he was now upside down with the sole of his boots resonating a little amount of his aura to keep him planted on his board and keep him from falling. Everything inverted he looked up and witness the death of the oversized imp. Arrows couldn't have caused that, but they weren't explosives tips he was sure. The explosion was different and he couldn't smell any gunpowder in the air.

Keeping himself further from the fumes and miasma from the remnants of the creature he scanned to look for the girls. The fumes made it harder for him.

In a rising glow of eyes the once brown optics switched into a beautiful will o' wisp of blue, the darkness in his vision switching into a clear cerulean so that he could see the silohouttes of one girl who stepped out. Her being naked he wasn't sure if he should comply with her demand. So he was airbourne for a while.

I'm sure she knews of her appereance. If I get slapped i'm going to punch her..

With a quick twist he was upright again and slowly descending. His aura veiled thinly around him, protective him from the fumes in the air and would also work to defend himself from her arrows. He still didn't know how they worked and having his aura failed to keep him secure; he'll just not get hit.

As he descended he spoke out, "You have good marksmanship with that bow of yours. All of your hits were direct with those things. Can I say that you didn't mean to hit me with that previous shot?" He asked once he was inches from the ground and yards from her. Hard as it was he kept his eyes on her face, and on the one eye that he could see. "What are you two doing up here?" He finally asked, locating a second signal of life somewhere in the mountains. "It's dangerous." ...For the demons that face them at least...

Without turning to look away from the naked girl before him he knew that he was right about there being a second person out there. It still pegged the question to why they were here in the mountains.

"I noticed," He stated. "I'm sure I'll just explode like those things that you faced, huh?" It was a rhetorical question to which he already knew the answer to. His eyes strayed from the the naked female to a better dressed - though still half-bare- girl. Skinny dipping in my springs. I feel like my personal space has just been violated.. He thought as he watched the girls get dressed. Only this time he couldn't help but have his eyes stray.

As the quiet girl came to him he replied, "These mountains are mine and I assure you that there is no such place for some R and R here..nor in any other place; times here are a little off balance."

He shifted eyes and turned to the girl now before him, dumbfoundedly staring at the needle that she was showing him. He didn't fear death. Nor blades. Blasts and raging winds. But he did not like needles. They were so small but deadly in so many ways. And even as her eyes said that she meant no harm Dark could only be skeptic about trusting them. So he responded to her silence and offer as polite as you could, "No thanks. A miasma like this will take a while to affect me, but as long as I keep my veil up I'll be safe." That was as long as it stayed up. Truthfully the miasma would only drain it but he didn't plan to stay here too long.

He turned away to face the violet haired girl, "I have not seen your faces around. I assume that you aren't from around here are you?"

Dark's eyes snapped a glare towards Hakumei when she dotted at his neck. IT didn't hurt; it never did but he didn't like the action either way. But he wasn't mad.

"I'm sure she does." He replied

For someone who enjoyed parading without clothes she was well-mannered. For a killer. As was Hakumei. He turned to both, trying to figure out their character by looking them up and down as Shikyo had him. Of course he found nothing.

"Dark Ryosuke. Guess you could say I'm the owner of these mountains, and for good reason; the two of you shouldn't be here no matter how deadly you are." He told them, ignoring the fact that Shikyou was right about his aura dying. It was true.

"Listen, there's a city down these mountains where you could get some rest and food. But I advise for you to leave these mountains." Once again he moved from Shikyo to Hakumei. Something about them was odd, but he couldn't put in what. Througout his life he always met people who were strange but as he stared at them both something irked at him. It could have been his imagination.

"Would you like me to escort you down?" He asked, turning to guide them down, his blue lighted eyes forming will o wisps with every movement.

Their movements seemed familiar to him - at least the style. He noticed Shikyo's walk, and it wasn't long after he turned to watch Hakumei look at Shikyo with an emotion he couldn't quite acknowledge at the moment. That one seemed distracted.

He finally turned away, leading them to the most careful path that he could find. The mountains were not people friendly. Normally Dark always flew over the mountains but he wasn't sure if two knew how to fly, so he would have to walk. By the time they get off the mountains it would be late afternoon. The cold night was turning into an even colder morning and even though he wasn't cold he could feel the air bite at his skin. To keep the girls behind him warm he used his power of fire to not only raise his own body temperature but to keep the area around them so.

"It's alright..Haku, was it?" He already shortened her name. Natural habit of his. "You said yourselves that two travel. Whenever I get the chance I do the same: Get in areas I'm not supposed to. But sometimes it has it's perks...treasures and wonders you can sometimes find, but in a place like this you just might die." He warned, taking a leap of a ledge and finally finding a path down to the mountains. It would take them all around, but this would be the best bet.

Wondering if they could make the leap down (about 12 feet) he looked up at them and dipped his hands in his pocket. He'll catch them if he had to. "The city...looks....like.." He paused. How to describe it. "..Like a city." He finally summarized without effort.

"It's a big complicated. But the structure of the buildings are made of a resilent rock. The designs themselves are a bit awkward. Not the usual square buildings with tile roofs. There's a few of those but these are more like..polygon things..." Dark was never an architect. Then again he wasn't the most clever either. "You could say that they got like triangle tops for roofs with added balconies. There's also elevators around the city that can take you to just about any section but..I'll leave that to Linion to understand. Even though you're a visitor it might be best to get you a bracelet." Aside from Inukai this was probably the most he's spoke. Normally he keeps to himself. But they did ask him a question that needed some explanation.. "It'll be much more easier when you actually see it."
