 It had been another boring day thus far, and Yu found himself again surrounded by sparkles and pink skies. His mind had slipped off again, too bored to care about the real world. His eyes were a bit dazed, like a cheetah that had just eaten a strange mushroom.
His tail flicked around anxiously, and he couldn't help but create his own small games in his other world. His pace started to pick up, and he found himself running from a giant blue bunny rabbit. His mouth was open in a smile, thinking it all a fun game, blocking out everything in the real world. He didn't notice the small rocks he would trip on every once in awhile, or the bright body of another in the general vicinity. No, Yu could not be concerned with life once he had gone off the deep end. His mother thought it was just an overactive imagination, but regular creatures on the savannah usually lumped him in with all the crazies.
Not that he would deny it.

 Zip. Zap. Zoom!
Jolteon ran like a bat out of hell across terrain with little care to where she was going or what she left behind. Like lightning during a storm, she made a mean streak that disappeared within the blink of an eye. Exhaustion? Pain? Pft. It mattered little to her. She was a running fool. Until the day her legs broke from underneath her, she would keep running.
Still, she couldn't help sliding to a stop when she saw the bright blue fur of another. Jolt's eyes scrunched up together as she panted, watching him with a mixture of curiosity and confusion. He was an attractive male, that one, but something was off, she just knew it.

Still running, Yu had also slowed, coming to a halt. A flash of yellow had interrupted his world, piercing through his outer imaginative wall. It was quite surprising, and at first, he thought it was just another vision that he had created himself. But looking closer, it looked to be a creature just like him, just as....captivating.
His bright green eyes locked onto the equally vibrant cheetah, though he could never admit that she was greater in pure stunning looks. He smirked, both excited and anxious to finally find someone on the savannah that could keep his eyes visually stimulated and pleased.
Trotting towards her, his ears twitched, and he ducked his head. It had been a long while since he had approached someone. "Hey." He tried to be cool, suave even.

Jolteon shifted her weight on her paws as she lowered her head, looking up at him with fluttery eyes as she tried to regain her breath. Her eyes locked with his, sending shivers down her spine, though she did not waver. What reasons did she have to look away?
Her tail coyly wrapped around her hind leg. She looked him up and down skeptically. "Hey. What were you running from a minute ago?"

Smoothing his expression out a bit, Yu was quite pleased with her apparent interest. His ego, while large, still needed to be stroked every once in awhile by a pretty face.
"Running?" He blinked, thinking back to what he was just doing moments ago. "Oh. That was a giant blue rabbit. He just wanted someone to play with." He turned his head to the side, looking towards the horizon. By this point, he thought he may have lost the battle with her question. "But then I saw you, and your pretty self, and said goodbye to the rabbit." Glancing back at her, he smiled. Well, it was the truth, wasn't it?

"Giant blue-what?" She leaned around him to see what he had seen, even though she was pretty damn sure he was the only blue thing around. And she was right. That didn't sit well.
Jolteon settled back on his paws. She couldn't help, but smile back, even with all of her thoughts. The male truly was charming. "Now I know you've gone mad," she laughed. "I know I'm plain, you don't have to make fun."
Honestly, her fur was as ugly as dirt! It was her own so she showed pride by cleaning it, but a little more....spark wouldn't hurt.

"Mm, you probably shouldn't concern yourself with things that I see." He laughed, knowing that she thought he was fairly insane to be playing with a giant blue rabbit. His tail flicked, and he couldn't help but giggle a little at her self-doubt.
"Mad as I may be, I know beauty when I see it." He did a little twirl, showing himself off. "You may not see it, but I do." He smiled, looking into her purple eyes. For Yu, it didn't take a complicated or overly flashy coat to impress him- no, he found that his favorite and most captivating pelts were simple, with just a striking color. "You and me, we're just that cool. Trust me on this one, miss." Smiling, he winked at her, not wanting her to have this view of herself.

"I probably shouldn't, but I'm going to anyway." She grinned. "I'm curious. Do you see them naturally or is it a plant?" More than once she'd used plants to make her invision herself as the lightning she visualized. It was some trippy stuff. Her luck he would just be insane.
Jolteon snorted. "You look like a fluffed bird. And act like one too. When you start a mating dance, I'm out of here." She slid onto her paws an slowly started to circle him. "Trust you? How can I do that when I can't trust what you see?" To emphasize the point, she tapped his forehead with her paw in passing.

"You're quite foolish then," He laughed, "because I don't hype up on plants." Yu had actually never heard of the act of using plants; did it really make others see what he saw? He hadn't thought it was a desirable view on life, as much as he loved it himself.
"A fluffed bird? Why thank you." He smiled, feeling the statement to be a pure compliment. Birds had always been such pretty little things, especially the ones he saw every day. "A mating dance?" Yu was fairly unknown to the real world. He had never truly grown up since he was a cub, having a mother that babied him and treated him like a little spoiled prince until the day she left without notice.
"My words are far more reliable then the world I see." He kept on smiling, not noticing how she probably would be turned away by the fact that he was a tad off. Besides, she had far too pretty of a coat to be mean, right?

She snorted. It seemed to her that he was the foolish one, not she. At least she could tell the difference between reality and hallucinations. "A mating dance is what birds do to attract mates." Jolteon explained. Her sleek tail wrapped up around her hind leg, tripping her up. She cursed, but straightened herself up quickly.
"You're...you're probably right." What he saw was probably worse than anything he could ever say. "So what were you doing out here on your own? Shouldn't you have a nanny?"

"Oh, well doesn't that sound enjoyable." He laughed, trying to picture a small bird-version of himself prancing around a little yellow bird. A fun activity indeed.
"Well, I'm glad you understand." He smiled, green eyes actually focused on the present. "As odd as it may sound, I kind of wish I had a nanny sometimes." He kept himself happy with his words, not getting down on the fact that a grown cheetah would actually require a nanny. "I was with my mother for a good majority of my life, until she up and left one day. Quite the sad tale, but then again, I wouldn't have met you if she hadn't." He smirked, working in a well-placed wink.

Jolteon violet eyes softened as she listened acutely. "I think you could use one, if you've been with your mother for so long." She couldn't sympathize at all, having been separated from her family at adolescence, but still.... For his benefit, she smiled brightly. "Thats one way to look at it. If you want, I can stay with you for the night, but I'm no nanny. I'll be gone by morning."

"So we have an accord." He laughed a little, his mind settling down. Her coat was enough to make the small spastic child in the back of his mind calm down, so the more 'adult' Yu could focus.
"Aww, just for the night? I quite enjoy your company." He lightly touched her with his tail, making sure to make eye contact with her. He had to admit, it had been awhile since someone could keep his attention, and he'd like to keep her around for awhile. Even if she wasn't too keen on the idea.

A slight prickling in her stomach made her whole body anxious. Already she bounced from paw to paw, eager to get moving again. What if he insisted she stay, like some posessive males? Or worse, like her mother? "We've just met, so you can hardly say that." Jolteon laughed uneasily.
"One night only. If your a good boy, maybe I'll come back to visit you from time to time." Her body shivered, whether from his gaze or committment issues, she knew not. However, indigo eyes never faltered as she looked back at him.

"Haha!" He giggled, flicking his tail to the side. "I wouldn't expect anything more." He dipped his head, still laughing a bit. He had been joking, slightly, with his previous statement; Yu would never be able to withstand someone for that long. But it was fun watching her reaction, to the point of making him want to stay a bit longer.
"Well, what to do now, hm? I suppose I should be on my best behavior." He smiled, winking at her, referring to her earlier comment. All he really needed was a consistent friend, one who honestly knew he was a tad crazy, but accepted him. Besides, his own ADD wouldn't allow for anyone to get too close, not right now, at least. So he'd enjoy the moment, having a little fun with this dazzling girl.
(( Sorry I kind of spaced on the ONE RP THAT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT. ;n; ))
