The base of a waterwall, all surfaces here are wet and slippery and there is a cloud of mist that hangs pesteringly in the air. The only supporting surfaces are various rocks large enough for five or six people but are angled just enough so that one person has troubling finding balance. Beneath the scattered rocks and waterfall is a deep river, turbulant and fast paced.

Wise men say the human spirit mimics nature. A man of great will mimics the mountain: silent against the wind. A man of inner peace mimics the sky: balanced between the light and the dark.
However, wise men have no saying for external power. If they did, they would most surely define a man of great power as being like Bullene Katsurou. That man sat beneath the roaring waterfall, allowing the tremendous pressure hit his bare back. Like the pulse of the planet, the beating of a massive heart ran through Bull's body. His immense power allowed him to remain still in meditation as an inner battle was waged in his mind.
It was a clash of titans as the Phoenix and Demon were gripped in epic combat. Both were unleashing their full arsenal of elemental attacks as Bull watched. Having been plagued for years with the internal battle between his Heavenly and Demonic sides, it seemed as if this were the climax.
Every pulse of the waterfall outside was another explosion within as each fiery beast roared. Bull sat in the same position, trying to ignore his inner conflict. It was taking a toll on his combat ability. A captain was supposed to keep his sword without emotion: a concept that has been difficult for Bull to keep in line as of late.
The battle grew more intense on each side. Each attack becoming more and more intense. The battle was gradually growing to a stalemate. On the outside, Bull's body temperature was increasing to the point that the waterfall began to steam the instant it contacted the surface of his skin.
It was finally enough for Bull. He stood, moving to the center of the battlefield. That instant, the two entities on each of his sides shot for the center. His face previously stoic, Bull's face contorted into a face of intensity as he raised his hands to each of his spirits. He ripped each of them from their paths.
At that instant, both sides of Raika were sucked into Bull's persona. Igniting into white flames, Bull's spirit was ablaze. All his desires were within these flames. With an explosion of resolve, the flames split into two. Dying down, two men stood from the ashes of the flames, facing each other in the darkness.
Bull viewed this man, who was slightly similar in appearance to himself. He was like Bull: a soldier. The man began to move towards Bull... Slowly. His steps echoed in the void of ignorance. "Your actions are baffling." He said in his deep voice.
The captain did not know how to react to this voice. It wasn't quite pure like Raika Amatsu, but wasn't gravely like Raika Makai. It was unadulterated. "How is that?" Bull replied. His voice was cautious. He had no idea of what had happened.
"You sacrificed your inner peace, only to ignore the real source of tranquility." He said. "However, you have pulled out the resolve to end your inner struggle." He extended his hand, as if to shake. "I am-"
Bull awoke from his meditation, smiling. He stood against the current of the falling water, more energized than ever. Rising to the top of the waterfall, Bull let out a roar of human spirit that echoed to the far reaches of the world. Squad 7 Captain Bullene Katsurou

The loud, dominant roar of a familiar spiritual pressure parted Mikhail's lips revealing a toothy, unpracticed smile. 'He hasn't changed at all.' Allowing his smile to linger for only a moment the less chiseled, though equally large man took a step forward and hung on the edge of the cliffside for but a heartbeat. Then, like a sparrow, the tattooed Russian man dove down into the rushing waters, his nearly flawless skin glistening in the sunlight.
As he struck the waters a wave of refreshment and ease came over him and he hung weightlessly in the rapids for what seemed like an eternity. Everything had been calmed by the cool waters, everything. His heart now beat softly, sort of like the feet of marching army returning broken and battered from a long drawn campaign. In a flash, everything bounded back, his heart rate surged and his blood pressure soared. With a single, large, butterfly stroke the lithe and nimble Shinigami bobbed to the turbulant surface and took in a much needed breath. 'Everyone has their own type of focus.'
Allowing his long, lean body to be taken a few feet down the river the skilled acrobat waited till the absolute last second to grasped a large boulder. In one fluid motion he releaved himself of the raging waters and hung like a feather caught in an updraft for a drawn moment before planting his feet firmly on the slick granite surface. Like a statue he stood gazing skyward in a near heroic pose. Eyeing the crest of the waterfall his stoic expression was broken by an agape mouth calling out to his former Captain. "Bullene, I should ask kindly that you remove yourself from you pedistal and bring yourself down to my level so that we may experience the joys of a long overdue battle." With a slight hint of wit and sarcasm Mikhail waited patiently for the Seventh Division's Captain to dropped down to the waterfall basin in order to begin the combat.

It wasn't surprising that Mikhail was eager to start. Having been his captain for some time, Bull knew a lot about the Russian. Still, the Captain wouldn't call any of his subordinates 'friends'. Bull didn't keep many connections outside of his work, therefore, he didn't have much of a personal-life.
The Captain focused reiatsu in his feet before he seemingly disappeared. With a fizz, he reappeared before Mikhail, fixing his hand-wraps so that they wouldn't slip. He wound them up to the middle of his forearm, making sure each strip of tape perfectly overlapped the previous.
Bull made sure his Zanpakuto were fixed on correctly. He tugged at his belt, making sure that they wouldn't slip out of the back. He stretched his arms across his body, cracking his shoulders as he squatted, stretching his groin and quads.
Clapping his hands together, Bull signaled that he had finished his preparations. He cleared his throat before he addressed the Shinigami before him. "You can never be too careful." He stated, indicating his meticulous preparations. "However, such frivolities are finished." He scoffed. "If you are ready, you may make the first move."
Bull never started battles. It just wasn't his style. He needed to take things as they came, never overeager. He did, though, have a very good feeling about his form on this specific day. Perhaps it was the events that had happened in his spiritual world. Without a doubt, Mikhail would feel Bull's intensity today. Squad 7 Captain Bullene Katsurou

"Yes, you can never be too carefully but sometimes it becomes a tad excessive, does it not? Paranoia's a b***h ain't she." Dryly, Mikhail was trying his hand at humor again. It'd been a long time since Bullene had heard one of his remarks, since then his humor had matured...if even just slightly.
"Oh please, there is no need to go out of your way in order to give me such indispensible gifts! It'd be rude of me to not accept your offer however in the future remember that I am no one special!" Again, he was dryly being facetious and humorous. Albeit possible unsuccessful at making Bull crack a smile his intentions were good and personable though Mikhail knew full well that his former Captain was not.
All joking aside Mikhail lurched forward off his rock ((I'm assuming you are on the distant shore or on a rock just feet away, or possibly standing on air nevertheless I assume you are not on the same rock)) lunging towards Bullene. Grasping the air by charging his hands with Reiatsu like one did with their feet when using a Shunpo. Performing a handstand in the air her rotated himself until he pushed off the ground using his arms rising up into the air several meters. Rolling over forward Mikhail dropped a simply axe kick downward, aimed at either Bullene's head or shoulder(s). The momentum behind the attack aided it with significant speed and force.

((I'm going to assume that you have kicked with your Right leg, seeing as you didn't specify))
The only time at which Bull's sense of humor appeared was when he was drunk. Too bad for Mikhail, he wasn't. All that was ahead of him was combat. The former Vice-Captain was providing just that. Bull was quite literally ready for anything that came his way, his mind being able to work in an instant.
Mikhail's opening attack was one Bull had seen many times. It was for that reason that he never used it. The captain widened his stance slightly and bent his knees to be slightly absorbent. His arms shot up, crossing at the ends of his wrappings. Holding his arms over his head, the Captain caught Mikhail's axe kick in the nook he had created.
For the Russian, a block like that would feel like a steel girder had blocked his kick. The captain's legs absorbed most of the kick, his weight evenly distributed across his feet. However, his arms exerted a large amount of normal force against Mikhail's heel, providing the true 'blocking' power.
In the moment that Mikhail had made contact with the Captain, Bull started his Counter-Attack.
Bull's left foot pivoted so that his heel would be facing inward, placing the ball of his foot below his knee. Seeing that he had placed his left foot so that it could support the entirety of both his and Mikhail's weight, Bull shifted all his mass over that foot. This freed his right foot to rise in a bone shattering kick towards the inside of Mikhail's kicking-hip.
At that very same moment, Bull shifted his arms so that his left arm supported Mikhails leg, while the right grabbed it at the ankle. Once in a firm grip, Bull removed his left arm from below the Russian. Keeping it free to do whatever he needed.
Once his arm was free, the Squad Seven Captain compacted his left leg with reishi. Using this extra power, Bull pushed off with his left leg, still keeping his body locked with Mikhail's.
Using his right leg as a precursor, Bull swung his left leg around at Mikhail's face, his heel driving with most of the power, pivoting his body so that his back was to the Russian's pelvis. However, he rotated his head so that he could view his attack.
Only with a large amount of balance and physical strength could such a feat be performed. Squad 7 Captain Bullene Katsurou

[Sounds good] It was well known that few to none could go toe to toe with Bull-Taichou and come out a victor. As it was Mikhail's way to fight without using his Zanpakuto and preferably hand-to-hand, doing so in this fight would be the downfall of him. Bullene was the Captain of the 7th Division. He was, by means, the sole master of Hakuda. 'He'll stick to what he knows, what few can best him at. I should do the same.' Mikhail was, as known, a former, rather, THE former Vice Captain of the 4th Division. Studying under his Captain, Envy, and learning much from the Lieutenant before him, Hirimi, Mikhail had come to be one of the greatest healers to grace the Sereitei. His natural inclination towards high, unrelented, accurate and remarkably precise Reiatsu control had rendered him bested in Chiyudou by only Envy herself. His training in this scalpel precise way of utilizing energy had made him critically calculative and able to endure. All of this boiled down to one thing however, Bull was using Hakuda and therefore Mikhail was going to use what he'd call 'Medical Hakuda'. The fancy name was based on one skill, knowledge of human anatomy.
Bullene's arms were like diamond, hard and sharp as hell. Mikhail had known without question that his axe kick was going nowhere long before he'd ever even unleashed it. Caught within his former Captain's iron grip the equally tall former Lieutenant had little he could do but take the attacks.
Stuck in the awkward position that he was, Mikhail took the first kick like a trooper. Bullene's powerful strike to his pelvis made Mikhail's body quiver like an arrow. Fully aware of his body, its functions and the familiar feelings of pain, he was quite pleased to know that his pelvis had been fractured by the great Bullene. Heat ravaged Mikhail's body now and his pain receptors became inflamed. For the time being any motion, any motion at all, would force his body to clentch in agony. This is where the true power of Mikhail would be revealed.
Reacting moments after his pelvis had fractured, Mikhail flooded his body with healing reiatsu activating both Chiyudou #1. Mother's Kiss, which dulled the pain and Buraindo Kyuusaisha which began to heal his pelvic bone. Realing now, Mikhail was twisting his body about, wrenching his right leg in the vice that was Bullene's hand. The kick to his face had been avoided. Mid-rotation the heel had skinned past the back of his head and then fractions of seconds later his body was parallel to the Earth again, his face now looking down upon the raging rapids.
Still stuck in the Bull's grasp, Mikhail began to vibrate his body faster than normal. His body was now shivering, his form visibly blurring around the edges, though ever so subtly. The vibrations would, in theory, resonate through Bull's hand thus his arm muscles weaking his hold. From here Mikhail would thrust his left foot of the broad chest of his opponent and Shunpo forward creating a gap between the two of them. None of this was done without increased effort as Mikhail was still healing from his fractured pelvis and he was still riddled with sharp pain despite it being dulled.
