Literate Roleplay. 3-4+ moderately sized paragraphs (multiple sentences). You must be 15 years of age or older to play. I'm sorry. Now that I'm 18 I established that rule.
Amid the glacial stretches of a mountainous landscape, a young man awaits the start of eternity. As the earth spins and the evening lights glow, the youth wonders if time, itself, might pass before his very eyes. The sky is painted with the softening hues of what might’ve been a makeshift rainbow cutting through shades of icy blue.
And then, a flash of crimson and gold streak across the sky like a lightning bolt. In the distance, the small boy can see them hovering around their mountaintops, diving and dancing through the air. Dragons. They are the creatures his people have always worshiped. To get closer to the mighty beasts, their Gods, his ancestors built a built a castle on the third highest mountain. The dragons occupy the first and second highest mountains to the north, having hollowed out hundred of enormous caves in the natural structures. It is from here he watches the giants dancing in the distance.
So strong.
So gallant.
So freakin’ scary.
Chael Amadeus was born to worship dragons. As the first born son of the King’s brother, he is expected to offer himself to the servitude of one of these horrifying giants if ever ordered to do so, resign himself to prayer and worship five times a day, and show a degrading amount of humility towards the creatures. Some whisper that he is not his father’s son, but rather, half dragon himself? The rumor should elate him. When he comes of age and turns, he will be revered as a God! The problem? He hates dragons. They’re possessive, mean, short-tempered, and frightening even in their human form. What is he do when the dragon prince makes an unexpected and uncharacteristic trip to his uncle’s castle in search of a bride.
What is he to do when he catches the monster’s eye.

Warnings: -Chael being half-dragon is not known to your seme. Please don't make him magically find out. Dragons don't hear pesky human rumors. -D/s relationship -introduction of outside couples (multiple side characters hopefully. I love making other couples) -slight cross-dressing forced upon ukes -Dragons are EXTREMELY short tempered. Let your seme get pissed about almost every ;little thing XD. Big personalities needed. -Any fun stuff you can think of

The sky was painted red.
This was the first thing Chael Amadeus noticed as he gazed out his window. He was perched in the highest room on the tallest tower of the castle. In the distance, a dark crimson mist seemed to be rising from the dragon peaks into the heavens. It extended slowly, creeping toward his own mountain in the form of rolling storm clouds. Among this mass of bloody Cumulonimbus clouds, dark specks could be seen. The moment he heard those familiar, shrill sheiks he knew what they were.
Dragons. Dragons were headed this way.
At that exact moment of realization, his door was thrown open. He quickly turned to see his father’s panting form. Obviously the man was regretting placing his pretty son in the highest spire. It took the hundreds of stone steps just to reach the room. “Chael, get yourself dressed in something proper. Your uncle, the King, requests that all nobles be in attendance for the coming of the God’s. hurry up, boy! And wear something from the leftmost side of your dresser. We need all of our young of marital age to be appealing to the eye.”
Chael nodded mutely and waited for the man to leave before changing in a rush. He might have worn something shabby just to spite those retched creatures, but his father would surely strike him for such disrespect. He adorned himself in his finest robes-- something that resembled a sapphire shortened kimono that reached around mid thigh and was embroidered with silver trimmings and small diamonds. It was much too cold for such an outfit, but as a pretty boy who preferred men to women, he was expected to dress in such a way on special occasions.
It was as he was racing down his steps that suddenly the stone walls shook slightly, preceded by a loud thud. He yelped, almost falling, and caught himself just barely. They were here, and he was late. As he reached the bottom step, two maids hustled him down one of the halls. “The dinin’ room, little one. The King be takin’ them lizards to the dinin’ room to feast after their journey!” One maid said, ushering the boy onward.
When Chael entered the grand dining room, he was surprised top find everyone seat. The food had yet to be served, thankfully, and his seat was still open. That still didn’t take away from the fact that he was late. With flushed, pink cheeks and little pants escaping his soft, parted lips, he scanned the group before him quickly before moving to the chair next to his father near the front of the table, head down. The irritated eyes of those dangerous beasts watched him, glaring angrily at his rudeness. Even his uncle, who sat at the head of the table and was normally a jolly man, was giving Chael a disappointed look.
The boy took a seat silently, ignoring their guest of honor who sat on the uncle’s other side. The sooner this was over with, the better. “I apologize for my tardiness,” he whispered simply in a soft bell-like voice. Forgive me. There is no excuse.” The words were spoken mostly to his father.

Velos awoke to a blast of fire in his face by his father the King of the dragons. He hissed and snapped at the older dragon before raising his head and looking at him. "What?" he asked rather rudely. He had never been submissive to his father, but he usually gave him respect. He only respected other dragons of a higher rank than he. Being prince that meant he as only respectful to his father the King. He received a whack on the head for his rudeness. He looked up and saw his father. "Forgive me Father," he said bowing his proud head ever so slightly.
His father snorted. "Get up we are going to the castle to find you a mate since you turned every eligible suitor here down," the King said. The older dragon looked at his son with a hint of disapproval in his eyes.
Velos stood. "As you wish Father, but I will find no suitor I like there either," he said. He stretched and yawned. When he yawned a small tongue of fire flickered in his throat. He closed his mouth and straightened up again. When his father turned to go he followed after him.
The Dragon Prince was not looking forward to going to the human's castle. He followed his father without showing the rest of the dragons how he was feeling. They walked until they reached the cliff they would be taking off from.
His father first and then him, Velos flew before the rest of a group dragons who would be going with him. He flew proudly in the red cloud that surrounded them and joined in the play fighting that was going on as they flew. When Velos saw the castle come into view he mentally sighed. Humans' reactions to them were always the same open awe and staring. It was a little tiring to be constantly stared at sometimes, but at the same time he loved the attention.
They landed one after another with his father the first to land and him second. Once they had landed they changed into their human forms. After much bowing and welcoming they were finally led inside. He was growing annoyed and with the waiting and was glad when they were led inside the castle. They were led to the dining room. He looked around the place before taking his seat and waiting for the food to be served. He noticed that everyone was waiting for them and all the seats were full, but one. He looked at the seat with a look of annoyance and turned that look to the king. Then he turned his icy blue gaze to the door. It was rude to be late and he saw the same look in each of the rest of his party's eyes.
They waited for a while and then a small pretty boy came into the room. Velos's eyes locked onto him and followed him to his seat. He didn't say anything as the boy made his apologies and took his seat. He looked at the king expectantly. They were hungry after all and everyone was finally here. His eyes then turned back to the boy watching him intently. The short sapphire kimono looked appealing on him and the dragon had to admit that for a human the boy was beautiful. If he was going to have to choose a mate he may as well choose one he would enjoy looking at.

Chael did something no one else would dare do in a dragon’s presence. He scowled in disgust, eyes narrowing slightly at the other's gaze. The message was simple: he would rather slit his own throat than remain sitting among the beasts.
He was quite relieved to see the food arriving in dozens and dozens of trays. A few dragons hissed appreciatively at the delicious smell of cooked meat, making Chael sink even more into his seat. His father tossed him a chastising look before glancing at his brother worriedly.
The small blonde’s discomfort and distaste were quite apparent and would very well offend any dragon that was paying attention. He winced as he listened to the monsters tear meat off the bone, keeping his head down and pushing his own food around with a fork.
“Papa,” he whispered shakily, looking up at his father as the meal was ending. “May I return to my rooms.”
The man nodded firmly. “You’ll have to excuse my son. He just turned 18 and is still quite nervous in the company of adult male royalty, much less fine creatures such as yourselves?” he apologized, sighing as his little son moved off swiftly, creamy smooth legs giving everyone a little glimpse of what one might soon claim.
Without another word, he trotted from the room, giving a great sigh of relief as he stepped outside one of the doors. What met his eyes was one of the grand, outdoor hallways. No. He had no intention of going to his rooms. He much preferred the open air. At least here he had the chance to run.
The cold, icy air bit a his skin. He blinked in surprise when he noticed several dragons had collected themselves in the courtyard, abstaining from the humans company. One particular dragon with gray scales and gold horns glanced at him. It seemed a tad bigger than the others and blew a puff of smoke at the boy playfully.
“Crazy lizards.” he mumbled to himself, not doubting that his father was trying to console everyone at this very moment. He was just glad to have gotten out of that wretched room.

Several emotions passed through the Dragon Prince at once. Surprise, shock, offense, and anger chief among them. He growled lowly and glared at the impudent human boy. He snapped his teeth in warning to the boy. His death could be easily arranged.
The smell of food distracted the enraged dragon however. He watched along with other dragons as the food was brought in on trays. He was among those hissing appreciatively at the smell of the cooked meat. As soon as the food was set down. He and the dragon sitting on his right exchanged a glance before their hands shot out with incriedible speed for the same piece of meat. A brief fight for dominance Velos took the meat and put it on his plate. He ate with a bit more restraint than his companions did. Instead of tearing the meat off the bone he ate with and knife and fork.
He watched as the boy left and snorted at the man's apologies and excuses. He watched those legs the most and liked what he saw. 'I think I have found my mate. Father will be thrilled. No doubt these humans will be as well.' he thought to himself. The breeding season was coming up and his father wanted his son to have a mate this season. He licked his bottom lip a bit. He stood and left, not saying a word. No one would mind if a mighty dragon left the room after a meal. Velos wanted to find a nice place to lie out side in the sunlight and digest his meal in piece. he didn't like to be inside for very long.
He found his way outside quickly and found a small private clearing that was full of sunshine. He transformed and laid down on his side and relaxed. He blinked up at the blue sky lazily with half closed eyes. He was sure no one would come and bother him here.

As the boy was wondering, he came upon another one of the crimson beasts. of course, he hardly recognized it as the prince but found himself irritated that it was lying in his favorite spot-- a small private clearing that seemed to contain the only warmth this area had to offer. With an adorable huff, he grabbed a stone and hurled it at the creature's snout.
"Oi, you damnable lizard. This is my spot!" he said coolly, moving to push the giant, scaled creature out but hardly succeeding. "Oh come on now. You have scales to keep you warm and I'm bloody freezing. I can't very well go back inside or your little friends will swallow me whole." He crossed his arms as he said this, seeming slightly distressed by the fact that the male would not even budge when he used all his strength to push him.
"Surely, we can make a compromise. All I want is my spot so I don't freeze to death in this tiny outfit." It was true. The silk fabric left little to the imagination and could hardly be considered warming.

The Prince's eyes were closed and his breathing was deep and even. He was sleeping and enjoying the sun and the warmth. Suddenly a rock hit him. Velos didn't even flinch as the rock his his snout. His scales protected him.
He inwardly groaned when he heard a human's voice. One had found him. He just wanted to be left alone to digest his meal. Wait. Did that voice just call him a damnable lizard? He also could distern that the voice was male. He felt himself being pushed. He couldn't believe this. Did the human actually think he could move him? He listened to the boy's complaints and his temper started to boil. He. Wanted. To. Sleep. In. Peace. Damn. It.
He growled and opened his eyes. He stood feeling angry now. First the little human brat shows him such disrespect and then he wants to make a comprimise? He growled again. Like Hell. "Tell me human, have you ever heard the saying, 'Let sleeping dragons lie?' " he asked in his regualar human voice.
He lowered his face so he and the boy were eye level. "Well?" he asked dangerously. Velos was never in a good mood when he woke and the boy's attitude wasn't helping matters.

Chael was shocked and a bit shaken when he recognized the man's voice. He froze for a moment-- going stock still-- and looked up to meet the creature's burning gaze. he gulped, but held his ground. This was his spot, god dammit. It was either get rid of this beast so he could stay warm or freeze to death. After all, going back inside was against the question.
"Sorry, your reference escapes me," he hissed back, blinking when the other lowered his head so that they were eye level. Chael sighed. This creature could snuff him out with one puff if he wanted. "Your majesty, first you invade my meal and then you invade my secret spot. We're certainly not off to good impressions of each other."
However, he knew it was best to give up for now. After all, what could he do? The male won by default. "Though, I suppose the fact that you could easily burn me to a crisp and you refuse to leave means I'll simply have to try to find another spot." He took a few steps back before turning to leave, hating how the fabric rose on his creamy smooth thighs.
He truly did hate dragons. Already, a chill was creeping up his legs and under the thin fabric. He would certainly have to find a spot and fast.

The boy was cold huh? Well he could fix that. The dragon smirked to himself and took a deep breath. Then he blew a burst of hot air at the boy's retreating back. The gust of air lifted the boy's short kimono up and revealed a rather nice view. "Still cold boy? It's rude to turn your back on someone in the middle of a conversation," he said. He stood and walked over to the boy.
He stopped the boy by blocking his path with his tail. "You owe me an apology kid," he said. He looked down at the boy and couldn't help, but admire his body. 'My future bride's body,' he corrected himself in his head. He had made up his mind. He would take the boy as his bride. He had spine and Velos' mate needed that. Plus that body was as good as they come with humans.

Chael squeaked in shock as a large gust of hot air blew up his tiny kimono, warming his round bottom and exposing it to the man. His cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment as he tugged the fabric down, turning to glare spitefully at the amused creature. What was worse was that the warm air wasn't altogether unpleasant. It was freezing out. he nearly spat in the dragons face upon hearing the males words. "I owe YOU an apology. After that little stunt, it's not happening."
He huffed and kicked the male in the snout when he noticed those hungry, lustful eyes roving his pretty body. "My EYES are up here, you filthy lizard. And I turned my back because the conversation was OVER." Deciding he had done a well enough job of pissing the male off, he turned on his heel and ran, bolting through the underbrush. Maybe it would be worth it to go inside. After all, kicking a dragon in the nose never got anyone anything but trouble.

The dragon's eyes narrowed at the insults that kept spilling out of Chael's mouth. The kick to his snout clinched it. Growling loudly he ran after the boy. Despite his large size he was extremely fast. While running he turned into his human form and quickly caught up to him. He grabbed him around the waist and pulled him against him.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't cut that insulting tongue out of your skull," he hissed in Chael's ear. He growled and held a sharp claw-like finger nail where he could see it.
"Well, I'm waiting," his hissed. He was pissed. He may have been admiring the boy's body, but at least he hadn't been insulting the little meat bag since he had arrived. His short temper was at breaking point.

Chael flushed bright pink and whimpered softly upon seeing the razor-sharp claw. He would submit for now, if only just slightly. There was no other way to deal with an enraged dominant dragon. Standing on his tip-toes, he brushed his small, pink tongue along the male's jawline obediently-- a sign of submission among dragon's that they usually appreciated. "I'm sorry," he apologized softly. "Don't cut out my tongue please."
Those powerful arms held him firmly around the waist-- strong and muscular. There truly was no escape. he would be able to leave wen the dragon allowed it, with or without his tongue. "I don't take kindly to strange men giving themselves a view of my bare bottom. Surely you can understand my reservations? That sight is restricted purely to my future husband and no one else."

Velos was soothed a bit by the sign of submission. This male was something else. The agrivated dragon listened as the boy apologized. He lowered his claw to his side, but did not turn it into a human finger. He closed his eyes as the boy continued to speak. Such a loss of control would not be tolerated by his father if he found out. He took deep breaths as he tried to clear his head and rein in his temper.
His arm never loosened its hold around the boy's waist. A small smirk appeared on his lips. The boy was truly entertaining and had spine. "Tell me something. If you wish none, but one to see, why do you put on such a tantalizing show?" he said. He hadn't opened his eyes yet as he was still trying to calm down.

Chael flushed bright pink and stayed pressed against the man firmly, knowing the other was trying to reign in his temper. "I apologize if my clothing teased you. Because I prefer men, it is expected that I should be married off to one as soon as possible now that I've come of age. I'm told to dress like this to attract any interested nobles." he whispered, giving the male's jawline one last lick. "No one but the man who takes me as his own can see more than what's already on display. I don't like wearing such naughty clothes in public but it is expected."
It was at that moment he heard a distant shout. The sound of a horse drawing near caught him off guard, as did the arrow that flew straight for the dragon prince's head and shatter the moment it touched the skin. Who on Earth would be foolish enough to shoot a flimsy arrow at a dragon, especially an irritated one.
"Step away from the noble, you wicked fiend--" A familiar voice cried and Chael nearly slapped his forehead. Riding up on a white steed was an over-dressed human prince, sitting in as courageous a position as he possibly could. The blond sighed as the human approached, winding his arms around Velos' neck to keep him from attacking.
"Prince Verdund, you come all the way from the East only to anger an already agitated dragon." he quipped smoothly. "a word to the wise, if I'm leaning up against another man, it doesn't automatically mean I'm in danger."
Prince Verdund was, in the simplest terms, an idiot. He was brave to the point of idiocy and handsome only because he needed ONE good trait to make up for his lack of intelligence. He also happened to be Chael's self-appointed 'future husband.'
"Ah then I apologize," the man said with a stupid grin, looking quite ignorant of the havoc he had most likely caused. "Now, come away from him, my little noble, and we shall ride back to the palace. I expect a grand greeting from your uncle and his court."
