You had went out walking. Going to the shops, coming home from work or merely out, it doesn't matter, when all of a sudden you're struck in the back of the head. Caught by suprise you collapse and find yourself looking at a pair of polished shoes. They lean over you and put a wet cloth over your nose and mouth.

You black out.

You awaken to find yourself in a dark, poorly lit room with only one light bulb, flickering its last couple of times before turning the room dark enough to make sight difficult. A head peers through the small window on the door, blocking out what little light it let in. The voice tells you "Your powers are useless inside the room. Don't even try to use them." The light flickers back on and lets you look around. Finding a mirror, you look into it. Round your neck is a wide band of metal, nodes set regularly around it. When you try your powers the collar sends out an arcing jolt of electricity through your body.
You find yourself
captured and broken.

The neccesary rules

  • No godmodding. I will tell you when you are doing so.
  • Personality is a free form style. It can change, so be careful who you trust.
  • I shall be playing all the NPC's, incuding the guards who won't die so easily.
  • Minimum post length of 1 paragraph
  • Those who disobey my rules will get one warning. A second time and their character will be brutally murdered by a guard with a shotgun.
  • These might change/be added to during the Rp.

Personality is not one of the fill in areas because I don't want to know. It shall be a secret for yourself to reveal during the Rp. I still don't want an Ansty McGill for a character though. The rest is self-explanitory. Not all Humans are evil and Not all Immortals are good. This is where my sense of realism kicks in.

+Race: Immortal
+Powers: Short range teleportation and intangibility.
+Weaknesses: Electricity, fear of blood.
+Bio: Life for an immortal can either drift in the winds or drag across rough stones. Kay is one of the unlucky ones that gets dragged across the stones of life. Looking about fifteen causes all kinds of problems such as police picking you up for truancy, shops turning you down for jobs and a variety of other things. Eventually Kay turned to crime in order to keep money in her pocket and food in he stomach. After so many decades of crime, she has seen all manor of disturbing scenes. Although she works in the circles of crime, she tends to stick to the less violent side of them. Extortion, robbery, deliveries and such. After one of her more frantic deliveries she was captured taking a shortcut down one of the alleyways near the safehouse.

+Username: SKBCTayuyaFluteofDeath
+Name: Jayna Aesh (pronounced Ash)
+Age: 613 (looks 17)
+Race: Immortal
+Powers: can control fire and talks to spirits related to fire
+Weaknesses: any type of liquid (except alcohol), electricity affects her more strongly than it would a human, oxygen deprivation (stop a fire=take away the oxygen; oxygen deprivation won't kill her, but it will knock her out)
+Bio: Jayna was not always Immortal. She was born the daughter of relatively well-off parents. Her mother was a healer in their village, and her father was a hunter. They lived happily; unmolested by any hatred from their fellow villagers even though Jayna's mother was knowledgeable of the healing arts and was thought to be somewhat of a hedgewitch. When Jayna was 17, that all fell apart. Jayna's father liked to bring her along on his hunting trips, and it was on one such trip that they were attacked by the very creature they were tracking: an elk. The elk had turned on them in desperation after being chased into a small clearing. Jayna failed to get out of the elk's path in time and was gored by its antlers and then trampled as it fled. Her father carried her back to the village, and her mother attempted to heal her, but her wounds were too grievous. Fortunately for Jayna, a minor deity had taken a liking to her. The god admired her spark and granted her the gift of new life. What Jayna and her family did not know was that this life would be as an unchanging Immortal. Now, she travels alone, not making any friends or companions because she knows they will grow old and die while she doesn't.
+Other: Although Jayna was given certain abilities by the deity that made her Immortal, she still carries her father's bow and arrow and a dagger for protection.
+Appearence: Jayna

+Username: Giyari
+Name: Lt. Jansen Cygnar
+Age: looks – 25. Is - 564
+Race: Immortal
+Powers: Manifestation and amplification of emotions.
Amplification - Any emotions felt by those in the affected area are amplified tenfold. ( Example, fear turns to absolute terror, sadness to depression, happiness to feelings of ecstasy and so on ) The power is on constant rather than activated
Manifestation – The persons effected will become the target of a physical manifestation of their worst nightmares/fears. (Example, scared of snakes? A 12 foot cobra materialises and then chooses you for dinner)
+Weaknesses: Amplification power is in constant flux, it can’t be turned off, more accurately it’s turned up when in use, meaning that a radius of 2 feet around Jansen is permanently effected by this power. This tends to cause social problems.
As Amplification is constantly on, the collar is constantly dealing Jansen a low level shock.
The use of Jansen’s powers for combat largely depend on the mindset and mood of his targets, if the feeling they are feeling is advantageous to them, then the advantageous feeling is also amplified
+Bio: Using his affliction of immortality and powers to his advantage, Jansen has spent most of his life working as military personnel, honing his skills in hundreds of battles over time. In times of peace, when battles are far and few between he took jobs that others considered too dangerous most of the time, jobs ranging from guarding wealthy travellers from bandits to hunting down hardened and dangerous criminals.
+Other: Due to his powers being fixed on, Jansen is rather cold and ruthless due to a lack of emotional contact with others. His powers also seem to have slightly warped his personality, further adding to his demeanour
+Appearance: Do NOT get in my way…
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
+Username: shilohoneechan
+Name: Kaileigh Noriko
+Age: looks 17 is really about 77
+Race: Immortal
+Powers: controls water
+Weaknesses: extreme heat or cold, heights, small closed spaces, and crowds
+Bio: Kaileigh grew up in the cold mountains being raised by her father. She hated it when she had to climb the mountain to help her father with his work it scared the hell out of her walking on small stone paths or only having small foot holds to keep her from falling. Though she fell her fair share of times but as soon as she got old enough she traveled far away from the mountain and found herself called to the ocean and made a home in one of the quiet coves that hugged the beach.

+Age: Looks 25 is 1000
+Race: Immortals
+Powers: Gravitational Control
+Weaknesses:Metal, Gems (Amethyst, Quartz, and Diamond), storms, Nightmare Trances, Sleeping in general, strong magnetic fields
+Bio: Freyja has always had the problem. When she sleeps, sometimes she goes into a trance like state and when she wakes up she realizes someone is dead or something along those lines. She calls these nightmares. She has had this problem for 500 years. Half her life, and still occasionally it happens. She hasn't seen a lot of the world and makes up for it by sticking to herself if she can. It's not that she hates people, just that she doesn't want anyone to get hurt during a trance. She has always had a strong allergy to metal. She knew it when she awoke in that room that she had just woken up from a trance. The band around her neck is already having an allergic reaction.
+Other: She usually has a slight memory loss after a trance, her name comes from the norse goddess of war, cats, and beauty. She has a symbol all over her body that she will tell is her 'brand'. Aged 150 to 550 she was held in an asylum for her trance issues. She always trys to cover as much of her body as possible, long sleeves, pants, boots, gloves. She loves to constantly analyze thing. Managing to finally use his power on the guard, Jansen finds that he has created a fear copy of himself. Not wanting to stay in the cramped room, they all rush down the hall to find a large room waiting for them. Kay and Nue also appear from a different door. In the middle of the room a screen flickers to life to finally reveal The Mastermind, Ian Miller.

Information on the Immortals

As immortals, they could have grown up in time periods ranging from middle ages, right up until the last century. The genome which causes the newborn to be an Immortal is rare. Even with two Immortals bearing a child the chances of the child being an Immortal are the same for two humans. Although Immortals can die, it takes much more than it would to kill a normal human. This is caused by their latent healing ability which they all have which seems to keep even old age at bay. They can heal wounds that a normal human would take a month to heal, in a day without too much activity. They cannot, however, heal fatal wounds. A gunshot will still be painful, and they all have weaknesses that tie in with their powers. Water against fire etc,etc... Sedatives still work as they would on a normal human, but less so. Stronger doses are needed for an Immortal than a human would need.

Information on the guards.

Singulary, each guard is just another human. But these brutes have been picked from various military platoons as the best for the job. Honed killers, they have no qualms about shooting a child of 15, or an old woman of 87. They need a reason of course, but that has been supplied along with the money for the job. Kitted out with magic suppressers, they can lessen the damage done by the Immortals powers. Most of them don't know that the Immortals have powers yet, and will be taken by suprise when they first use them, but they're professionals. The suprise won't last long. Best take them out before that.

Information on the collars.

These collars have been specially made to give anyone using a power a high voltage shock to the central nervous system. This cause the users concentration to be broken thus halting the use of the power. The electricity is generated from the wearers natural electical impulses such as nerve signals. The collars cannot be removed without the proper equipment other wise they will explode in a ten foot blast, destroying anything neaby.
There are seven nodes on the collar, set at equal distances from each other, with one siting just below the adams apple. The 'key' slot is a small indent on the back of the collar in a pentagonal shape. An electronic allon key is used to disrupt the powerful magnets holding the two back ends together. Only certain poeple in the complex have these 'keys'.

The Mastermind
All acording to plan.

Everything had went acording to plan. Soon everything would be set, and then the fun could really begin. From the cameras set in each of the cells, he could watch as each and every Immortal captured had tested their powers, and failed. Soon though, things would get interesting.

Kay Georgiy
Electricity is a b***h!

She was scared. Who wouldn't be in a situation like this. Clubbed in the back of the head then chloroformed. Once you wake up you're in a strange room, with an armed guard outside the locked door. When she tried to teleport to the other side of the door, the collar round her neck had exploded to life giving her a shock strong enough to throw her across the room and onto the bed. Stunned Kay had lay there for a few minutes until she was sure that she wasn't going to die from it. Sitting up again, she moved across to the door and looked as far down the hall as she could. Every so often, doors like hers were placed, bars at hinge height. Directly across the hall was another door like hers. From behind the small window, Kay could see movement. Movement meant another person.

Kaileigh Noriko

Kaileigh rolled over in bed slowly waking. She scretched out blinking then jumped up as her memory played back the last moments she'd had when last awake like a commerical to a scary movie. She fall off the bed with a hard thud landing on her side. "Ow," she moaned sitting up on the hard tile floor looking around. She was in a small closed room. She felt her heart automaticaly jump start as she realized this. She tried to call a large amount of water out of the air but only ended with the collar, that she then realized was around her, giving her a horrible shock making her crumble to the ground. "Oww," she cried again this time in real pain.

Kael Fenrir
It couldn't be...

Kael sighed as he left his quarters to make his "rounds" yet again,to make sure everything was going smoothly. He strapped on his sword just in case he might need it, even though he hasn't needed it in his past rounds.
"I should be making someone else do this... But then again if that chosen person ******** up I'm screwed... So better me than anyone else..." He mumbled to himself as he inspected the captives in their cells. Kael's ears twitched as he heard the sounds of a couple of them getting shocked. He couldn't help but chuckle.
"How did those shocks feel?!"He taunted as he walked up to the cell to see what poor soul was inside. Kael's heart almost stopped and he turned sheet white when he saw Kay. She looked just like his sister Autumn, only she was a older version and had the wrong hair color. But it was shocking just the same.

Jayna's eyes flickered open. A spot on the back of her head throbbed, and her mouth was as dry as if she had been out for a while. There was a sickly sweet taste in her mouth too, like some type of drug. She sat up gingerly and looked around. She was alone. In a cell. There was a strange weight on her collarbone. A collar. A metal collar. Damn. Now she remembered what had happened. She was hunting and someone had hit her on the head and pressed a cloth with some sort of drug over her mouth. Just thinking about it, her fists started glowing red-hot, but before she could do anything further, the collar gave her a shock. Jayna yelped and collapsed, bruising her forearms on the hard floor. "Power trigger. Damn."
