With the invasion of the village by the Hoshi warriors, Death-sensei has devised a 2-pronged plan to deal with the intruders.
'Wave One' has been informed that a hostile intruder has breached the village defenses and has located himself in a clearing within a forest inside the village walls. This team, consisting of Haruko (Captain), Akuma, Letum, Amaranth, and Shisu will engage the enemy as soon as possible, only having the time between meeting and traveling to the enemy to devise a plan of attack.
'Wave Two', a team consisting of Kenji (Captain), Narkosa, Hiroshi, and Akio will be observing from a considerable distance and have time to plan their attack. Due to the far distance, no details can be made out about the fight, but a general idea may be assumed. All plans and formations of attack from the second wave must be discussed in this thread and can only be learned by what we can see of what the first wave experiences.
Rules of Observation: As per Death's description...
- It would be hard to see things like hand signs. - It would also be difficult to see most close range jutsu. - We could still see larger movements and attacks.
Examples: We could see if the enemy had an explosion attack but not if he had a move that shot senbon from his fingers.

Kaisho approached Kenji in wave two's meeting area. Kaisho had no real idea what was going on, but thought that it was a great idea to have two water users teamed up with his as his lightning abilities would greatly benefit this team. "Kenji, so what is our plan"

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Chuunin "I'm not so sure we have one yet Kaisho... but that is what we are here to figure out. Wave One will be going in to combat the intruders first. Our job is to observe, and develop a more intricate time then they have time to make. Without knowing anything about the intruders... its hard to know what the best course of action is." Looking onward, Kenji could see that Haruko and her team were meeting up quickly, gearing up to move in and confront the intruders. They were doing their job, now, it was their turn, to do their's.
"I haven't seen much of Akio fight, but from what I've heard, he prefers to use the Hidden Mist technique, but that blinds the rest of us just as much as it would the enemy. I've read up on everyone's files though, so I believe we are all capable of striking hard and fast. A second wave can often be the breaking point of a fight... if we are able to strike hard and fast at a weakened enemy, we may be able to catch them so off guard, that they would be unable to recover. Surprise and Overwhelm I think would be the best, but we may also need to save the first wave if things go badly for them."

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Chuunin Kenji turned to Akio as he arrived nodding slightly as he asked for an explanation of what was going. "You should have paid more attention when the message came. An intruder was reported to have broken into the village and has holed himself up inside a clearing within the forest. we don't really know what he wants, but something like this could only mean a challenge to the village. Death has created two teams, Haruko's team which is to go into the field and engage the enemy immediately and our team, which will observe from afar and create a plan of attack with the time Haruko can buy us."
Looking around, Kenji spotted the highest building of the village, the Command Center and motioned for everyone in the group to follow him. They would observe the fight from the top of the roof there, where they should have a good view of the battle below. Performing a few hand seals, Kenji left a clone behind to deliver the message 'To meet atop the Command Center' for Narkosa when he arrived. Leaping ahead, Kenji made his way up to the rooftops and jumped from structure to structure before reaching the command center. Attaching chakra to his feet, he leaped to the first level of the building and then ran up the walls navigating around windows and ledges until he reached the top of the building, which gave him a birds eye view of the forest clearing where he could see the enemy standing in wait.
Haruko's team was quickly advancing towards the field as well. He wondered what might be going through her mind for a second before snapping back to strategize. "I know Narkosa's capabilities, but I need to know what each of you considers themselves best at. We need to come up with a plan that can surprise and overwhelm the enemy, but we need to think a few steps ahead as well. We'll develop the rest as we watch the fight."

Narkosa felt a deep knot in his stomach being his first mission he didn't know how to feel. " I hope I don't screw this up," he said weakly to himself. Seeing that the others were already ready at the rendavous point he slowly walked up to the group. Looking at the ground Kenji's clone walked up to him. Narkosa froze for a moment remembering the last time they met. Being told that the wave had already moved his heart drop "Ohhh great I haven't even started and I already screwing the mission up," swiftly skipping across walls and rooftops Narkosa head for the command center.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Chuunin Watching silently from the rooftop, Kenji noted that there was only a single enemy within the clearing, but couldn't believe it would be that simple. "It would be suicide for a single person to invade a village filled with ninja, no matter what their level. Death-sensei alone would be able to deal with a single enemy... there had to be more." The first wave had already begun to attack and Kenji eagerly awaited to see the man's response, but it seemed that he was unfazed by it, still not even moving when multiple enemies approached from every side.
Looking up to the sky, above the field, Kenji noticed that there had been a particular bird flying in circles around the area. Knowing Haruko well, he smiled as he thought that a swallow would be an excellent way to perform surveillance, and also relay information to him as well. A thought struck him however as he realized that his vision of the field was so clear, that his presence must also be visible to him. "Tsscchhh... already screwing up. well, lets try to cover my tracks." Seeing that Narkosa arrived late, Kenji immediately gave him an order as he appeared...
"Narkosa... go down into the town and get as many Genin/Academy student spectators as you can up here. We need to create a crowd." If he was lucky, if the enemy had already seen him... once the crowd arrived, he might just figure that there was simply a gathering of curious people, rather then a second wave coming to attack.

Kaisho listened as Kenji ordered Narkosa to retrieve academy students and genin to the rooftop with them. "Kenji, we needn't worry about him, I have a bad feeling that someone may be watching us at this very moment just as we watch the battle." Hiroshi said fully aware that Kenji had thought the same thing.

Narkosa stood up right when he was ordered to retreive the others. "Yes sir," he said with a nod, not wanting anyone to know who was leading this mission. Sprinting off Narkosa ran off to find more back up.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Chuunin "The crowd is nothing but a diversion tactic." Kenji said as he continued to stare straight forward without turning his head to the side... "The more people we have up here, the more it seems like we are spectators, simply trying to see what is going on rather then reinforcements ready to jump in. the crowd will stay here and we will leave clones when we finally make our move. Hopefully, the enemy won't see it coming or suspect anything if he never sees us leave amidst the crowd. Hopefully, Haruko's team will keep them busy enough not to notice slight changes."
Kenji had already begun to think about how they might make their entrance. For only one enemy to be present, he would have to be rather strong, especially to take on an entire village by himself. Kenji figured that their best route would be to use a single target attack, with multiple levels of entrapment coming from several different angles. If even one method worked, the others would reinforce that method to completely restrain and hold the enemy who could be interrogated or easily dispatched afterward. He had to know what the enemy and his own teammates were capable of though.
"Kaisho... Akio... what restraining jutsu do you know which could hold, or otherwise entrap an enemy so they couldn't escape?"

Kaiso didn't even take his eyes off of the enemy as he told of his binding jutsu. "Raiton: Kaminari Shibari-(Lightning Release: Thunder Binding) This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the walls with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls. This is my binding technique. The conductors are sealed in my scroll an need to be placed equal distances apart, but if he is trapped within, there is no escape for him unless aided from the outside."

((sorry about the late reply, alot's been going on lately, not alot of time for Gaia.))
"Well, pretty much none, not unless the area's covered in water, like rain or something." Akio said as he looked down at the ongoing battle.

Soryuu KenjiNameless Village | Nature's Guard | Chuunin Slowly, as Narkosa did his job well, random Genin and Academy students soon made their way to the rooftop where Kenji was standing with the others, as they gathered around in a small crowd to watch the fight. Kenji's eyes had never really left the scene and he had observing what he could closely. It would seem that the fighting had already started as he could see figures approaching the figure in the middle as they began to make their assault. Their efforts however seemed to wholly and utterly fail as the man seemed to effortlessly dodge everything that was thrown at him.
One thing in particularly stood out however, as it seemed like the man had started to fall, but then stopped himself, slowing his movement to avoid an attack before continuing his fall and landing safely to the ground. At first, Kenji thought perhaps Amaranth would have had a hand in it, but no one else in the area had slowed down besides the enemy, so it may have been unlikely to be the case there. "Kenji-san, what are we all doing here? We're not qualified to fight agaisnt invading forces." One of the Academy Students had sheepishly approached the front of the crowd to speak to him while watching the field off in the distance..
"Don't worry. You're not here to fight anyone. You're just a cover. If we can see him from this vantage point, he can see us and would know when we were coming and expect a second wave of reinforcements. With a crowd up here instead of a select few however, well, the odds are simply better that he might think us to simply be observers. that, at the very least would allow us to conceal our intent and our departure. At least, that is my hope." The student's curiosity apparently settled, he stepped back, leaving Kenji to wonder what it was that made the man fall slower during that one small instance when dodging the attack.
"Always to protect...never to harm."
