Welcome to Abon Town!
You arrive at the town of Abon: a riverside village famous for their Abon weed cuisine, which is also the antidote for the local sickness. Abon weed is also the cause of the local sickness.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! "  It had been a few days since Ren arrived in Abon. He was exhausted from his journey and remembered how kind the people were. When he woke up in a bed he didn't recognize, probably after passing out on the road, his throat was raspy and he felt like he couldn't breathe. An elder man gave him some food that looked like it was made from the weeds outside. Either way, Ren didn't turn down his food and ate it rather carefully. It actually tasted pretty good and he didn't notice he let down his guard as he ate until he finished, seeing that there were a few more people in the room. He couldn't help but move back a little and came to realize that he could breathe normally again. As the man explained, the cure to the disease to the Abon's pollen is the Abon plant itself in the cuisine.
A couple of days later, Ren got back on his feet and even started getting a bit comfortable with the landscape. It was nice and rather peaceful, himself having to be awoken a few times because he fell asleep in the grass. It was probably because of his Crocodile +Anima. It made him rather sleepy in strong sunlight and a bit more peaceful. Even so, Ren couldn't reveal his +Anima just yet in front of the people here. He was too wary of what the people said to him the last time he did. They moved him out of the city because they thought he was cursed or malicious.
Finding a nice warm place on top of a small hill, Ren smiled a little before taking off his shirt, lying it down on the grass and lying down on his back. Ren couldn't help but let out a rather peaceful sigh as the breeze played with his hair and the sun warmed his stomach. And just like a rather large reptile in the middle of the day, Ren let the sun warm his body as he started to drift off. Maybe this town wasn't so bad after all. The people didn't wake him, unless it was nighttime or to ask if he was hungry. He just ate so he figured now was a good time to sleep it off. With his pale eyelids covering his red eyes and his silver hair drifting over his face on this peaceful midday, Ren let out a bit of a huff before falling asleep. It was like heaven.

Kaya~ Lion Anima Kaya walked into the small town of Abon, tired and weary from traveling. Her clothes were filthy and she had a terrible fever. She stumbled her way to a small hut located on the far end of the town where she met a nice man who gave her medicine. He told her of Abon's local illness and how it was made by the plants that surrounded the small town. Two days passed and Kaya was nearly back to her normal health. The man told her that she could stay longer, but Kaya didn't like staying in the same place for long periods of time, so she refused his offer. That afternoon, Kaya set off on her own again. She stayed in the town to stock up on supplies and started losing track of time. She liked the small town and wished she could stay longer, but thought it best to leave. She finally headed out, but was still too tired to go far. A little bit out of Abon, she found a large tree. Kaya then crawled up the tree and found a spot for her to lay. She tried staying awake, but soon found it hard and started to dose off.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! " Ren thought he heard something not far off and slowly opened his eyes a few minutes later. Rubbing them a little, Ren glanced over and saw a girl in a tree. Probably just got there. After sitting up and putting his sweatshirt back on, Ren stood up and watching a few people come into Abon, he stood up and headed near where she was but directed his attention down to a few scattered Abon weeds. He picked up a few and thought maybe he could save some for later if he was stranded somewhere between two cities and had nothing to eat. He didn't look toward the girl yet but he thought just being around might let her know that he was there but not to be hostile. Just to relax a little himself.

Kaya~ Lion AnimaKaya was about to dose off when she heard a noise. It was coming from below her. She quickly sat up and looked down. She was surprised to find a boy not too far from her. He was picking some Abon plants and seemed to not have even noticed her. She grabbed her bag as quietly as possible and slowly eased her way farther into the tree. Hopefully the boy wouldn't notice her. She couldn't see him through the leaves, but she knew he was still there.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! " Ren didn't look toward her direction but by the rustling, he could hear that she was moving around. He didn't move toward her to scare her but didn't start walking back. He set some of the plants in his bag before standing still. "Mind if I speak?" Ren asked in his rather quiet voice. "Sorry to disturb you but I'm curious as to why you're hiding up there."

Kaya~ Lion +AnimaKaya, realizing now that the boy had in fact seen her, slowly poked a portion of her head out from behind the leaves. "I'm not exactly hiding..." She said in a low voice. "It's more resting than anything."

Shark Noctis swam at the bottom of the river, he'd just been following the current mindlessly because he had gone berserk again... It happened about two days ago now, but the memory haunted him and he neglected to rest or eat, only holding the desire to run as far as he could. Eventually he gave in to his fatigue and followed a branching stream to a shallow area near some trees, though he didn't leave the water and curled up. Unaware of the two voices not too far away as he quickly fell asleep.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! " Ren nodded. "Resting then but I'm wondering as to why you're up there." He said as he picked a few more weeds and set them into a small pocket in his bag. He didn't want to seem like he was prying or trying to get into her business. He was just curious as to if she was alright and if she needed anything. "I have some spare jerky if you want something to eat." He said, running a hand through his hair. For some reason, he felt very awkward.

Kaya~ Lion +Anima"No reason." Kaya said looking around trying to see if anyone else was near. "It's just very... relaxing." She didn't see anyone, but she could kind of sense that someone was near. When Ren mentioned 'jerky', Kaya stomach made a small growl. She hadn't eaten since that morning so she was pretty hungry. She didn't want to be rude tho by taking his food, so she declined. She could find her own food.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! " Ren smiled. "Yeah. Personally I like being in the sun myself." He said as he felt someone else nearby. He yawned into his sleeve before lying back against the tree, not looking up. "It just makes me so sluggish and sleepy." He muttered as he felt the back of his neck, remembering the mark there. "Oh sorry if I sound crazy. I'm from the Abon village. I'm visiting too. I'm Ren."

Kaya~ Lion +Anima"Ren." Kaya softly said. She had known a Ren before, but that was long ago. She paused for a moment to remember some of her past, but quickly tried to bring herself back to the present. "I'm Kaya." She finally said. "And I'm not from around anywhere near here. Just passing through as I always do." She rearranged herself on the branch she was laying on so she was lying on her stomach and her left arm was hanging off. A small smile came across her face for she felt comfortable.

Ren Samuel Evermore " They're not the eyes of a man! More like the eyes of a beast! "  Ren nodded. "I'm passing through as well. I guess people here are more lenient to certain types of people." He said as he sat down and ate a bit of jerky in his pack. He didn't look back up to her as he did however, not trying to seem overly cautious as to what she was doing. However, being raised as a +Anima, he couldn't help himself sometimes and was mostly overprotective of himself and others.

Kaya~ Lion +AnimaKaya didn't say anything else. She had liked chatting with Ren, but she knew she shouldn't get too close to others, so she simple stopped talking. It had gotten late in the afternoon already and the sky and changed to a bright orange with the sun about to go down. Kaya couldn't believe how late it had gotten, for she had lost track of time chatting with Ren.
