Well, here we are. A brand new guild!
And whats here? Everything!! I really wanted a place where people can showcase their gifts and talents. I wanted a place where we could knit or crochet, sew or do bead work, make things with duct tape, paint, whatev!
There'll be plenty of subforums in the future, as soon as I can get the money to make them! Be sure of it. Well, Happy Craftin!

O hai. Uhm. Call me Muffin. I do all kinds of crafty, artsy things. I draw all the time, I knit, I crochet, I'm learning to cross-stitch, I pour molten metal... I've also made myself a messenger bag out of duct tape! I also do things like paint WARhammer minis, make films, all kinds of things. If you do something, I probably do it, have tried it, or want to try it. And if not, I'd love to learn about it! Edit: Oh! I've got a knitting blog, too! Here!

Well, I guess I'll finally intro myself now... Yo! I'm the Knitted Juggler, formerly Dizzy Destiny. Half my friends decided that I needed a better suited name. I've been crocheting for ten years, knitting for four, doing stand up for a year and a half, have been sewing for a week now, and have been juggling for about nine months now. I dont use patterns, ever. Oh, and this is my blog. BackAlleyKnitter's Blog. Its how I roll? I'm 19, a college sophomore, and treasurer of the knitting Club at campus.

Hey! I just love crafts so much, I wish it could be my profession, but I need to make more money crying BUT! In my spare time, I knit, crochet, mosaic, sew, paint, latch hook, I do like to work with metal and stuff. I want to make a necklace "tree." Where it looks like a tree and really beautiful, but its a place for your necklaces too! I have all these things I want to do, but never have the time for it! I also love to cook! mrgreen

I'm Trischalli.
I'm a crafter that picks up new crafts whenever I am in the mood. I learned how to knit from online videos but I seem to lose steam sometime to keep motivated to knit. I tend to take a bunch of small things and put them together into something new, like old Christmas ornaments were made into a Christmas wreath. I'm used to seeing recycled items in a whole new way to be used for crafts or science project.

HOLA! I'm Soy, nickname came from another account while this one was hacked.. D: anywhoooooo I'm an old soul, I LOVE vintage and antique anything, mostly from 20's-60's. I make jewelry from beads and materials I get from Freecycle, I knit on second-hand needles (except for my interchangeable circulars), and I sew on my future grandmother-in-law's Viking 150 from '88 and I just recently got and am figuring out my very first sewing machine, a Singer 201-2 from 1941 (it's stunning!). I tend to craft and create with materials that I get from thrift stores, I would say that I'm trying to be as green as possible with my crafting, plus it's a LOT cheaper! lol biggrin And reading Trischalli, it seems like I'm a LOT like her! lol Find me on Cut Out and Keep.Find me on Ravelry!My fanpage on FacebookMy Etsy shop <3

Now I'm 20. and well...I'm not too mature. I mean..my sig is of me wearing a koala bear hat holding a nerf gun and eating toast. The toast wasnt featured though..but it was good.

Hi there!
I go by many names, you can call me Grey, Minnie, Emily, Tricia, whichever. I probably respond more on here to Grey though, haha.
I'm 19, I've been knitting for about two years now, maybe three. I mostly loom knit because I'm practically useless when it comes to needles, but I am trying! I know how to do basic stuff on needles and crochet hooks, but I can do nearly anything on a loom. I love to draw and knit, like to write, adore hanging out with friends, on or offline, and I absolutely love to move and dance. Not professionally; I've been known to break out in dance at random times, however.
I had always been interested in sewing, but just about the time I was old enough to learn the trade or teach my self, the Wal-Mart in town stopped offering their fabric section, so that was really a hobby that never got a chance. However, I still sew little stuff from time to time (when we first started dating, I made by boyfriend a grey heart from an old t-shirt I used to love to wear. It never leaves his side or pocket [I think maybe once he left it at home and felt sad about it]).
You can find me on Ravelry and Etsy, but they'll be blank for a little while until I start actually posting stuff, haha. I'm super excited to be in this group!!

Sadly my introduction isn't going to be lengthy like everyone elses...I'm 20 years old. I have been knitting for a month now. I caught on pretty easy. I'm struggling with sewing though. Right now I'm working on a striped blanket. I draw art by hand or on my wacom. I'm still learning how to play with colors on it. >> Anyways...um hi lol.

Hello, I just joined the guild, i hope it can be active because i'm online a lot. Probably not anymore since I got a job but anyways. I'm a knitter, crocheter, felter, sewer, designer, baker, and a beginner in soap making. I'm 18, I homeschool myself, I live with my boyfriend in Kentucky, and I work as a cake decorator at WalMart. I also own an online shop (most of my sales come from etsy though).
So Yeah that's my little "about me" biggrin

Hmm, not really haha just because no one has actually bought from my shop. the online version of my shop can only have 10 listings at a time and i only list my custom items on there. but all the pre-made things i put on my etsy. You should start an etsy shop : ) there are lots of buyers on there.
