I am Nerdy_Boy_4evah, Nerdy for short, and I am your Captain! I am looking forward to meeting
new people, new faces, and maybe some new enemies.

I have chosen to have FEELtheNOVICAIN act as my Vice-Captain. Unofficial, but she does report to me. She will also organize any and all contests, so thank her for the wonderful contests we have in the near future.

~A prayer for those with cancer~

I will pray for your healing. I can testify that there is a host of people who regularly pray for healing who will join us to pray for your healing. Together we can claim the scriptural promise that "If two of you agree on earth about anything they ask it will be done for them by my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:19)

What is Lymphoma?

Lymphoma refers to malignant tumors of the lymph system. The lymph system is a series of nodes or glands located in numerous places throughout the body, connected by a network of vessels which carry lymph fluid, or white blood cells. The lymph system is part of the immune system and key in fighting off disease. Lymphoma is considered a serious disease because cancer can spread throughout the body via the lymph vessels. However, recent advances in medicine have made lymphoma more treatable than ever before, and there is much success in defeating it.

Too many "big" words? Well, here is it for you.

Lymphoma is a cancer that begins in the special cells in the immune system. This kind of cancer presents itself as a solid tmor of these special cells. It can permantl damage the immune system. It is a very dangerous type of cancer, as it can spread easily, however doctors have made it easier to cure lymphoma, so it is highly likeyly that people with this disease will survive.

~Donating Boquets~

I'd be happy to donate a boquet to any who needs one. Just send me a labeled trade indicating how many flowers, what color flower, and what color wrapping. The ribbon will be green baceuse this team is "sponcering" this service. If I do not have the color indicated, you will get a standard Team Lymphoma boquet, which is green wrapping with a red ribbon.

Team Lymphoma CONTESTS Announcement

NOTE: As this is a Team Lymphoma announcement, it does not apply to other participants and members of this guild. If you are not a member of Team Lymphoma, please do not attempt to enter our contests.

Now, moving forward.

As it is the last day of April, this is your last chance to get in on our contests we have all spiffed up for you. They all close tomorrow evening, when the final winners will be announced and prizes given away.

The Tektek Contest:
It is our final tektek contest, with a prize of 20k being offered. The theme is the most extravagant avatar you can come up with, not in any way related to Team Lymphoma or TDM. PM entries to FEELtheNOVOCAIN, please.

Real-Life Word-Spreading:
Just pictures of you doing something to support cancer or lymphoma awareness, even if it's just wearing a green ribbon or daffodil. I'll take care of the extras. There's only one entry so far. PM entries to FEELtheNOVOCAIN, again.

Page Contests:
There's a 12k prize for page 20, if we make it that far, so get posting on there to get that prize!! And if we hit page 25, there's a mystery EI waiting for the winner there.

Playlists Supporting Cancer
What's that, you ask? Simply a Gaia playlist to promote cancer. There's only one entrant so far, so it can't be too hard to pass her up. Again, just PM them to FEELtheNOVOCAIN and she'll get it done.

End-of-Event Raffle
You need five posts in the TDM guild to be entered. For every additional 25 posts you have, you claim another entry. Prizes are anything left on the mule after other contests are awarded- likely somewhere around 50k, split into 10k prizes, plus several items. So again, get posting, and let's go out with a bang!
