The day was immensely dull. Arianrhod stared out across the river she was standing beside, nosing her muzzle into the cool water. Sunny, bright, and warm, it was lovely weather to be outside, yet...
There was absolutely nothing to do.
Ariarhod gave a snort of annoyance. She was bored. Having successfully sneaked away from her mother, she was prancing around the wide, enormous plains, chasing butterflies and stretching her little wings as far as they would go. However, other than that, she could not think of a single thing to do.
Ari pouted, dipping one hoof into the water. I want an adventure! she thought to herself as she dawdled around the river's edge. Where's my adventure?

Again with the hot weather? Every day it was getting warmer and warmer. It was probably nearing summer by now. Boris Airay didn't mind the sun, it was better than getting wet and weighing a ton but it made him easy to spot with all his piercing's and shiny accessories unless he was extremely sneaky!
Boris thought of what to do as he merrily trotted down side the river his cat like tail swaying side to side with every hoof-ground-rise that he made trying to make a rythm out of it. He was stuck with what to do with himself. He had already ate a rat earlier having chased it the whole way through the forest just to get breakfast! Suppose there was still fishing...
He made his way down side the river and stopped at the waters edge, staring down with a mild focus to try spot any shining in the sunlight. "Here fishy fishy...." He grinned a little, crouching down with his rear in the air and his tail wriggling about.
"I.... GOTCHA!?" He lept and landed into the water however his hoof landed wrong on one of the slippy rocks and his entire body landed in the river. "Nyaaaaaaaaa!" He screamed and spazzed jumping into the air and dashing back onto land, shaking himself madly as water flew every which way direction.
A sweat bead dripped at the side of his head as he glared towards the side at the water. This meant war. 'Stupid fish...'

She had not seen the rather unusual looking horse trotting down beside the river bed until the leapt into the water. With an enormous splash, Ari found herself suddenly drenched. Blinking rapidly in surprise, she let out an indignant squawk as she turned every which way to find out the source of the water. Her eyes landed on a fully grown, dark creature with a violet and fuscia colored cat's tail, and a thick, sopping wet feather boa drapped over strong shoulders.
Ari stared. He was quite unusual looking, and unusual meant excitement. Fluttering her feathers to rid them of the water, she trotted over to him, peering at him curiously.
"Whatcha doin?" she asked.

Now totally drenched from hoof to head, he heard a small unusual voice questioning him. He turned to look at the foal approaching him curiously, asking what he was doing. Which was a very good question. He had been fishing and now war was on. That fish was going to get it! He lowered his head down to be on her height level and smiled a pearly cheshire one. "I was... Fishing."
He paused looking at the water and swishing his tail irritably side to side behind him, the fish bone piercing flashing wildly in the sunlight. "But- It failed and now. It's time to get revenge..." He chuckled as he looked back at her. "How would you like to help me catch a fish. Not just any fish, a very sneaky slippery one!"
Two were better than one, as much as he liked devising plans and sneaking around on his own, with help catching his meal, it mean't company and that mean't fun.
