Persy streched happily and walked along the street. It was a plesant spring day and she had the afternoon off from watching the perimeter of the mansionn. As well as that Kieran was at home minding the kits, though they didn't really need minding anymore, so she was completely free to relax for the afternoon. She thought if she went down this street she might be able to find some fish to bring back to her family as she knew this was a lot of their preference when it came to food. She let her mind wander as she walked, as she was one to do. Persy was always a dreamy one, letting her mind take her to far away places.
She thought about how old the kids had gotten. Her youngest were even growing, some leaving all together. It upset her slightly and made her feel a bit lonely. She didn't mind growing older herself but she didn't really feel whole unless she had a full nest, she supposed. Even before all of her children had actually left the house the anxiety of having an empty house was getting to her. She didn't dare bring this up with her fiance though. They had gone through so much with the first two litters that she wouldn't be surprised if he was completely against the idea. Still...she could dream.
While dreaming and thinking the cat didn't pay one bit of attention to where she was going. Because of this not only did a cyclist have to swerve to avoid her but she also walked face first into...a kitten?
