Cabin #8
Sphere of Influence: the Hunt, Maidens, Children
Symbol: Moon, Bow
Animal: Deer
On the outside trees are planted, and sometimes deer may be found. The walls are a shinning silver, and golden arrows make a border. The symbol, a large shinning moon, is on the top, the middle showing number eight. No children, especially males, are supposed to be in this cabin. Sometimes the hunters come to camp, and sometimes Artemis comes to her cabin. Inside it is painted a deep black, a large moon on the ceiling. The beds are silver and small, because hunters usually don't hunt during the day. Arrows are on the left wall, and a bow on every door. Because you never know when you want to use a boy as target practice....

It's an honorary thing. If you were a god, you would get kinda ticked off if you didn't have a cabin, like Hera.

Desired Cosplay Artemis can't have kids. Why is there a cabin? >Looks around curiously< She can have kids, she doesn't chose to. It's not just for honor, but also the fact that when the hunters come to camp, they stay here.

Michael trotted up this cabin with papers, nails, and a hammer. Hm... I guess I should still post it up just in case some Huntress get to camp before the party," he said doubtfully. The papers read:
Bonfire Beach Party. All campers except Athena and Hades kids are invited. Ask a Dionysus kid what time the day and time the party will start.
Michael took the hammer and started to nail the notice on to the cabin. He trotted along to the next cabin.

CottonPopKroo How can I pledge myself to Artemis I would like to be part of this cabin (( Well, first you go here and make a profile. Oh, and two more things; you'll probably barely post here so if that's your only reason to be a huntress, you might wanna rethink that. And second, use brackets for out of character(ooc). ))

A normal looking girl, Taylor, had approached Half-Blood Hill and started up the hill. She had long, red hair with chocolate brown eyes to go with it. Taylor wasn't a demigod or a nymph, just a girl who could see through the mist who had pledged herself to Artemis, the goddess of hunt. What in the world am I even doing here? she thought with a gray expression which was very unlike her. Was it due to that she was away from the hunt? And now in a dump ran by a drunk that was infested with guys? Anyways, it didn't matter since she sworn her loyalty to Artemis and had always obeyed her every command, even if it was to get sent here. As she reached the top of the hill, the Huntress couldn't help but notice a boy who had reminded her of an old childhood friend, Ben Roggers. All she could do is scowl at the boy who had returned many horrible memories to her. Could it have been him? No, her mind couldn't imagine Benjamin being a demigod... or could it? Yes, sadly it could. There was no point of lying to herself. Every time she did, she always ended up breaking down looking like a fool. Before hatred took over her body, she walked down the other side of the hill as quick as she could. 'Ugh, could this day get worse? she had thought bitterly. A couple of guys from the Apollon cabin almost trampled over her as they rushed after the Ares cabin. 'Yes, yes it could,' Taylor answered her own question.
After 'bout a couple of minutes, she found herself at the enterance to Cabin 8, her new home for a couple of weeks. Birds were perched on each one of the branches that grew from trees that grew all around, even inside the cabin. Some past huntress had painted signs saying No Boys! and covered the whole cabin's exterior with them. Did they really think that would do anything? No! If guys saw the stupid signs, they're gonna be even more tempted to enter the cabin. Her hand reached out and pulled the doorknob to the cabin open. The interior was just like the exterior except there was a shinning, enchanted moon on the night sky ceiling. The moon mimicd the real moon's phases and Taylor thought she saw some stars flicker or disappear like a cloud had blocked their view, but it really didn't interest her now to see if she was just imagining things. An owl that rested in a tree had sounded once she stepped foot inside which she ignored like everything else. The huntress put down her things on one of the many unoccupied silvery beds. "Ugh. Why Milady? Why'd you have to send me alone to this dump?" she asked herself as she messed with her hair in the bathroom. "Especially if that dude is Ben?" Her rants kept on coming until she had nothing else to do in the 'powder' room.
Rummaging through her small bag she brought her stuff in, Taylor pulled out her ipod and headphones. Country music played in her ears. And not the country with love and everything, just country music that was like stupid or random. So-like-no Taylor Swift. She flopped on her temporary, or at least she hoped, bed and a book had appeared in her hands. She had stolen it when she had passed by Athena's cabin. Her reasoning for doing so? Well, her old books had to be left home when she left to follow Artemis and when you pass by a cabin that has-like-over hundreds of books, you can't help but sneak in and snatch a couple of them. It was just like old times. The huntress began to read her new book that was about some random greek history. The best part 'bout this cabin to Taylor was the moon that shined on the dark, night sky ceiling acted as a book light. Thirty minutes passed, and the cabin occupant had shut her book and put it on an end table with some other books she had finished in that time frame. Her headphones were also out and was back in her bag along with her ipod. Now, a quiver filled with shining, silver arrows was now rested on her back and a bow was in her left hand as she exited out of the glorious cabin that represented Artemis perfectly. Where next? To the archery of course!
