Cabin #3
Sphere of Influence: sea
Symbol: trident
Animal: horse
Riptide shines in the back of the cabin, the sea rock from the beds glow bright. The cabin on the outside is a brilliant sea green, with sea green and barnacle stuck to the sides. The top is made of coral, but is far stronger than the cabin across the way. Inside is a vast blue, and the smell is a great decongestant, as it is a strong wave of sea salt. The beds are made of sea rock, the covers as soft as a horse's mane. Riptide shimmers in the far wall, it's waves glimmering in the light from the small windows. The Iris pool is laden with coral and shells.

Joshua Crest walked into his empty cabin, as soon as he walked in he felt a calming breeze hit his face. The breeze felt amazing, and when he opened his mouth he could taste a small tint of sea salt. Yet he quickly dismissed the thought that he could tase the air, for it was a stupid thought. " So this is my new home." He said quietly to himself, he was happy there yet it felt so empty. He scaned the room and saw Anaklusmos, or riptide. He felt a sense of pride that his half-brother carried the sword. Immediately after he got a small feel for the room and began to get used to the empty sound of the water ripling in the iris pool, he sat on an empty bed and began to continue to scan his new home, Cabin three.

((You can't taste a tint. A tint is a visual thing. That's like tasting the sound of waves crashing down. Not possible. Technicality -1 point in my book of awesome.

(tint can also mean "a usually slight modifying quality or characteristic " Quoted from Webster. So in the context this form of the word " tint" would be a modification of the air.)

((You still couldn't taste it. The way you used it, it doesn't mean that. It would mean the definition you just gave if you said "The air was tinted with salt." but you said "Tasted a tint of salt." If you don't provide the subject of the clause, in this case, the indirect object being modified, then your point has no base, because there is nothing for the word tint to modify. Joshua awoke from his amazing sleep. He must have been tired, because he did not know that he had fallen asleep, he felt the bed sheet and it was very soft. The best way he could describe it was a marshmellow mixed with a horses mane, in other words it felt perfect to a child of the sea god. Joshua loved his new cabin, but of course there was something missing, he was lonely and had no cabin mates, it felt like he was stranded at sea. He was in the one place he loved, but he was alone and yet, in control of where he was. After a small debate of what to do next, he stood up and walked outside to the arena. Joshua had to make sure he was still up to snuff, and make sure his skill with a sword was still as sharp as a blade.
