(This rp was performed over AIM between Keantha and myself.)
Kimya shuffled his paws and looked towards the rising sun with a mixture of worry and awe. Taking a deep breath, he relaxed in the wake of the wind. Ever so slowly did he dip his paws into the water. The only way to get to a good hunting spot in this area was across a river.
A river swollen with crocidiles.
He gulped and started swimming. At first it wasn't so bad. The cool water felt like heaven on his warm fur. Then he felt something brush up against his leg and bolted straight to the other side, leaping out of the water onto his stomach. Looking back, Kimya noticed a piece of some plant stuck to his paw.

Keantha  Zana laughed softly as she cut through the water easing herself onto the bank. "Mighty Kimya! scared of a little river weed." Her lavander eyes danced with amusement, but her tone wasn't cruel or mocking just playfuly as she swipped a paw, knocking the river weed away from him.

He pouted and huffed before rolling up on his paws. A little devilish glint lit up his eyes. Looking over his shoulder, Kimya braced himself before shaking out the water from his fur, effectively spraying the female with a jet of it from his mane.

Keantha She scowled at him in disgust, stalking away from him, her tail lashing the air behind her. UGH! Males, everywhere they were the same...annoying and gross. Atleast Kimya couldn't blab at her all the time...

When he was sure her back was turned, Kimya stuck his tongue out and pulled his eye lids down with his paws. Females may not have been as scary as he was once lead to believe, but they were definately weird.
He picked at the fur between his toes before hobbling along behind her, occasionally holding a limb out for a good shake like someone with too much water in their shoes.

Keantha Once she was sure he was still following her, Zana spun around, flinging a pawful of thick red river clay into his still wet fur and smirked.

Had Kimya not been mute, he would have shrieked. His body jerked up on it's hindlegs as he violently started swatting at the clay.
Ewww! Get it off, get it off, get it off! He back pedaled right over a stone and back into the river with a gigantic splash.

Keantha "See what happens when you mess with the best?" She smirked, prancing to the river's edge, her tail twitching behind her. Heh; he looked like a drowned rat!

The lion's thick mane sopped against his face, hiding his eyes from sight as he lounged back with his hind paws jutting out into the air. The best, was she? Ya right. He tilted his head forward and spat a mouthful of water at her face.

Kimya stuck his tongue out before kicking off into the water, kicking spray after spray of water at the pale lioness. He felt justified. Maybe the waters purity would keep her from messing around in mud.

Keantha She growled as she dove at him. "I am gonna eat your face Kim!! See if I dont!" Would she really hurt the big male? Not a chance, he was her friend, but she did plan to try to half drown him!

His eyes widened and in a fit of panic he took a deep breath to dive under. Ha! He knew damned well that his fur blended in with the water and the sky, so what chance did she have in catching him now?

Keantha He may have blended in...but he also may have forgotten how good of a swimmer Zana was. On land, the pale lioness was a bumbling fool, but in the water...she was swift as a striking snake, grabbing for the end of his tail.

Kimya exhaled a flurry of bubbles in surprise. How did she always do that?! He tried to wriggled out of her grasp, and when that didn't work he placed his hind paw on her face to push her off.
