For the most part of the day, every day Nori would patrol the ShadowMoon Clan's territory; The forest and then some. Including everything they would ever need to survive, unless the food supply started to run low but that would mean other predators were lurking and he would have to deal with the pest problem. It was a great place for the pack tolive and had been his and his sibling's whole childhood. It was hard keeping an eye on them all but somehow he had managed with some... Patience. His sister Mercy running around with another stray wolf. A snort flared from his nostrils, warm steam filtered into the air as his eyes focused ahead where the shadows were darker and the tree's were more crowded and there, he knew he could find Evan.
ShadowMoonLea watched as her eldest son patroled the area again, over and over with a smirk on her face before trotting off quickly to sneak up on her daughter. She hadn't had much mother, daughter quallity time together and it was just about due that. "Ohhhh deaar, where have you run off to, you minx? Mummy wants some luuuurve my little pretty. Tell me all the juicy details." She chuckled deviously, sweeping her tail across branches, the shattered pieces flying all sorts of directions in the trail behind her.

Evan had just reached a stage were you could say he was at adulthood. He had gained some new features, more shadows sad seemed to rap themselves around him. However his bright and glowing blue eyes which he was known for before remained, as piercing as ever, especially in the blackness which surrounded the forest. He had found this place to be a fine place to grow up, there are things he had learned here that he would not have if he had stayed at home, although sometimes it was hard to be away from his family he knew deep down he made the right choice in this clan. He knew that he would have not become the stallion he is if he would have stayed at home and lived a life of safety and perfection. Living in paradise was one thing that had no appeal to him. Hell seemed a lot more fun.
He walked in-between the dark tree's. His ghost like scarf and tail floating behind him. Looking at the others in his pack. Nori was wondering about on patrol. Lea was badgering her daughter about something. He was stood, wondering in the shadows. Well every family had to have one, who just stood there and looked intimidating. He was that one. Except the reason who he was stood there was simple because he could not be bothered with anything else. Evan was a man who believed that there was no reason to waste energy unless you needed to act, there was no reason to waste words either.

Nori walked into the darkest shadow, covered by the black of his own heart and as he approached his pack member Evan he studied him closely in his silence and smirked a little. Evan was the only one he had trully lightened up with in his youngest years and had become more playful and attached to than anyone else. Like he was his own blood related brother but no matter how much it was hard to admit; he knew, he had his own family elsewhere and it was his choice what he wanted to do. Some say the past comes back to haunt you but Nori never agreed on that. What happens in the past you have to be willing to deal with in the future when making a decision. "Evan, come with me." He stated bluntly, turning past a tree and steadily making his way through it towards the edge.

Though young at heart, her new grown feature suited her perfectly. And the heightened senses helped her where others would normally fail.
Mercy's ears perked up at the sound of her mothers voice, she turned and met her gaze quickly giving her an affectionate nuzzle to her neck. "Morning Mother!" She took in what her mother had already known, her face heating into a blush that was luckily not visible. She definitely got her abruptness and curiosity from her mother. "I've just been seeing my friend... Jake. He's been teaching me some new things." Her voice was low as she spoke. She looked over her mothers shoulder at her older brother, afraid that he might over hear her. Mercy just didn't want him being over-protective and be 'brotherly'. "We're actually seeing each other tomorrow for stalking lessons."
It was true, she was seeing him more often and he was teaching her things, but most of the things she had already learned from her family. She just looked for excuses to see him every once in a while.

Lea loved it when her minions gave her snugglies and luff's. Especially her daughter. She seemed to have got her 'nice' personality from her fathers side. Such an innocent creature even though she had been brought up also by a shadow killer. Although, Mercy treated her like a normal mother. It was strange. Nori knew about her darker side but maybe the other two were oblivious. She tilted her head until her two ears twitched at the details she was given and just had to tease Mercy with them.
"Just a friend? Hmmmm~" She sang, smirking. "I highly doubt that. Is he another wolf? I smell fur and a familiar scent heaving off of you. It's nothing to hide. Or have you developed puppy love?" She forced onto her with giggles and motherly interest. Although behind that, she just wanted to see if her pack was going to be getting stronger and more powerful. She was shady like that.
"Tomorrow? Can mummy lurk? I'll be good, I promise?" she winked. "I just want a peak at this 'friend' of yours. Though, dear haven't you already learnt all this from me?"

Mercy's cheeks burned with embarrassment under her mothers close interrogation, and with a stern nod of her head in approval. "Yes, he's wolf. His own territory isn't far from here. I'm surprised you haven't seen him yet." she gave a bit of forced smile. "Yes Mother, you may come. But you have to stay downwind, I don't want him thinking that you don't trust him." Her heart sank for a moment, she had a feeling somethingwasn;t right. She turned towards Nori once more motioning to Evan. What in the world was he up to? She gave a mental shrug before focusing back on Lea.
That feeling just wouldn't go away. For some reason things never turned out the way she hoped when she brought along her mother. And yet, she didn't know why.

Lea smiled inside, a creeping little genius had leaped to her heart and sank it's teeth in. "of course, you know I will. I would never jepodise your love life. No matter how sexy they come." She chuckled and nibbled at Mercy's coat. "As I said I just want to see who your wolfie friend is, I love that my little girl has friends." she moved forwards and made a head gesture to follow. They would head down to the river, she was feeling a bit peckish anyway and she could hear all about him on the way down. "So whats this boy like?"

She was getting that feeling again. It was a tinkling feeling one got when they knew something felt.. wrong. Around her mother she seemed to get it alot, but that feeling never came out to anything. She always thought that perhaps her mother was keeping whatever it was, at bay. So like always, she shrugged the feeling away.
What was he like? she had heard her mother ask. Mercy smiled to herself just thinking about it. "Well, he is very kind, protective, passionate and I love spending time with him. He always seems to know what would make me feel better. And yet, has that air of dominance about him. The kind I kind of get from you... but.. different somehow." She couldn't pinpoint the difference between the aura, but it was definitely significant. Perhaps getting them together at some point to compare.
She followed Lea over to the rivers edge and just gazed at her reflection for a few moments. Why did she feel this fluttering feeling in her stomach whenever she talked about him, or to him these days? she pondered while she dipped her maw into the river to drink.
