There wasn't really that much for the lioness to be up to. She was told she didn't have to watch any cubs today and so she could wander around for a while and see the sights. she was part of the pride now but she was still settling in to a point. So she was going to wander and get a hold of the way things were and get a little more used to the pride. She wasn't Compeltly sure of what it was like. She didn't know exactly where everything was. So thats what she was going to try to do, she liked the way it sounded.
She hummed quietly to herself as she wandered across the borders looking around. She smiled to herself as she flicked her hair out of her eyes and looked around as she looked she noticed a creature not that far off. As she looked at it she realized that it too was a lion. She knew the lions in the pride were friendly so unlike when she was younger and she had to be careful of every lion that she met she knew there was a good chance of talking to the lion and him not wanting to kill her. She chuckled at the idea before a smile grew on her ips, she started to wander toward the male before pausing and letting out a chuff at him.
She glanced at him before moving closer to him, trying to be as friendly as she could. "Hello there!" She chuckled softly as she grinned, she was hoping she could have some company today.

Quaashie blinked, hearing someone call out to him. Normally it wouldn’t have been that big a deal, but he was fairly certain he’d never seen this lioness walking up to him before. Highly likely, considering he’d only been near this place one other time and it hadn’t been for very long. As far as he could remember, he hadn’t met anyone else during that short visit aside from one very nice lioness, who didn’t look anything like the one he was looking at now. Then again, he had gotten into some funny-smelling herbs shortly after that… maybe he just couldn’t remember all the creatures he had met that time.
Either way, he offered the stranger a smile, sitting his large body down as he watched the other move towards him.
“You live around here, don’t you?” He asked lightly, “I was just looking around the place for a spell, I hope you don’t mind. The name’s Quaashie. What do I have the pleasure of calling you?” She seemed friendly enough. A common trait in this place, apparently. It only made it all the more appealing to him, really. If he could belong somewhere, perhaps…
Well, there was no need to get ahead of himself.

Tibu's attention was very much interested into the lion, she knew that she really had never seen the lion around the pride before, because of this she was curious on who he was. She smiled before flicking her tail around as she moved a little closer to him. "I do live around here!" A small laugh escaped her lips as she moved her way just a little closer to the male so she was only a few feet away from him. She took a moment to take in his markings she wanted to remember him just in case she did see him again.
"I don't mind." She let out a small laugh as she shook her head before flicking her hair out of her eyes and smiling she was happy to see another lion around she, althought she was curious on why he was here. "It's nice to meet you Quaashie." A wide smile grew on her maw. She wiggled back on her haunches making herself comfortable. She wiggled her chocolate colored toes around in the sand before looking back up at the male with curious eyes. "Ive never seen you around here, have you been here before?" A large smile grew on her lips before she stood up and nodded at him. She took a moment to realize that she was thirsty. She stood up then glanced at him. "Would you like to join me to the oasis, I'm incredibly thirsty." She really just didn't want to leave the male behind when she just met him.
She giggled slightly before looking back at him as she trotted toward the oasis. "Come on! Keep up its not that far away!" She flicked her tail around before giggling a little bit.

“Yes,” the male hummed lightly, “I have been here once before, though not for very long! I was only passing through at the time. You know, checking things out, seeing what there is to see. It was pretty fun!” Quite the place they lived in, it seemed, and a place he wouldn’t mind living in himself. Hopefully soon he would be another member of the pride to be welcomed and appreciated. She seemed like a friendly enough lioness, too. He liked the way she seemed to have oodles of energy to her.
Sometimes it felt like all the lions were much too stiff once they got to be adults. Why couldn’t you just lay back and enjoy life every once in a while?
Have some fun.
“The oasis? Sure, sounds like something I could get in on!” he agreed happily, though he really didn’t have much of a choice in things, it seemed. She was already on her way shortly after his answer, as though she had been expecting a yes. Following, he trotted to catch up, falling in stride next to her. “so what did you say your name was?” he asked after a moment.

Tibu was very much an energetic lioness that was one thing for sure. She liked to play around and have a good time when she had a chance to. There were plenty of times where she loved to run around and have a good time but then again in this new pride where she didn't know that many others around the pride she stayed by herself often and just hung around. She was glad to see that this male seemed just as much energetic as he was at the moment anyway.
She was glad that he agreed with her even though she was already walking away. She really hoped that the male wouldn't mind her antics. She looked at him as he walked up to her side before she laughed slightly. "My name is Tibu." It was shorter then his but it was easy to remember that was for sure, not many forgot her name. But many got her name mixed up with her sister's name, Tifu. "So you're thinking about joining the ride?" she asked curiously as they approached the oasis.
She leaned over the water's side before lapping some of it before sitting back on her haunches and enjoying the water's edge that had to have been the only thing she didn't enjoy about being settled in the pride, wandering around she had a whole lot more choices for water. But she enjoyed staying in one place. She looked at the male before grinning. "It's a nice pride, I haven't met anyone who doesn't like the pride."

“Tibu!” Quaashie repeated, committing the name to memory. The last lion he had spoken to he ended up forgetting the name of, which made him feel like a bit of a fool, really. If he couldn’t even remember the names of the animals he met, how was he supposed to become a proper member of the pride?
Assuming that was what he really wanted. First, he wouldn’t be against a bit more running around and exploring. Good thing he had a light-hearted member of the pride to help him out with that.
He enjoyed her spirit.
“I am,” he replied lightly, “I was thinking about it for a while now. Met some members, explored a bit- it seems like a nice enough place to call home! And I really dig all the stuff around here. Much more exciting than the rogue lands, you know? I just… never been a group lion before.” He looked at the water, watching his reflection. Did it fit in the watering hole? Did it look like any other member of this pride that might gaze into its depths? There was no answer staring back at him, but boy was he a handsome devil.
“Really? Well that’s encouraging. Maybe if I join I’ll be another one to really like this place. We could hang out, you and me.”

Tibu grinned slightly as he repeated her name she had af eeling of why he was saying it and as she was thinking about it she was hoping that she could remember his name. She had a hard time with that at times. She flicked her hair out of her eyes as she leaned over and lapped up some of the water in front of her. She then turned toward him once more. "thats the way my mom was when she joined the pride, she loved everything about it." She laughed slightly then sat back on her haunches loooking around at the water. "It's a really safe place really nice." She chuckled again before nodding at the idea.
"Neither was my family. We just lived together and wandered for a while, she thought that wandering wasn't the safest thing for a few cubs so we joined the pride. It's really nice. I enjoy it a lot." She stretched her paws then wiggled her toes. "I'm really hoping that you stick around." She laughed slightly as she grinned at him.
she then nodded at the idea, she really could use a friend around the pride. She hadn't been able to get around much. "That sounds pretty cool. Company is always nice no matter what is going on." She laughed slightly.
I get a little busy at times when I'm watching cubs but other then that I don't have much to do."

“That sounds nice. If I had a family, I’d definitely consider finding a pride to settled down in- I don’t think the free lands would be a really good place to raise some cubs, either.” Not that he was really considering himself a potential family man so soon. Sure, he was getting, but for him it still felt like he was too young to have himself a family and a bunch of little ones to look after. What was he supposed to do for fun and adventure with cubs about?
Then again, he did like the idea of little hims running around, having adventures of their own. It seemed… nice. Right, in a way.
But it was too soon to think about that. He didn’t even have a lady friend to throw the idea at. Maybe he’d focus on that before anything else. Some lions liked to just have cubs with any female they met, but not him. No, he wanted “the one.”
Good luck with that.
“Well I can help you look after cubs! Do you think males are allowed to? I don’t know, I guess I could do anything the pride needs me to do, really. I think it would be just be fun to be a part of this.”

Tibu shrugged slightly. "It wasn't that bad being in the rogue lands as a cub, our mom did a pretty good job keeping us out of danger but wandering around at times was really annoying." She laughed slightly as she looked at the male and then nodded. "Being here is nice though." She remembered when she first joined the pride it was a little odd being part of the pride she wasn't used to not moving around but she quickly got used to it.
Tibu looked at the male and grinned. "A little help would be nice!" She laughed slightly before pawing at him. "I'm more then sure that males are allowed to be nannies." She grinned at him. Really the sound of some company while she was taking care of the cubs sounded good, not only that but the idea of having a hand with taking care of the cubs also sounded pretty nice. "Yeah that would be realy cool."

Quaashie chuckled, nodding along. He hadn’t been constantly in danger while he was out in the rogue lands, true, but he still felt like it would be a lot of stress for a parent to keep kids out of trouble while out in such an open, unprotected land. It was probably a hell of a lot easier for them if they happened to be in a pride where other members could help them hunt and keep an eye on the cubs.
If he had cubs, pride life seemed the way to go.
“Ha! Well that’s good to hear. I’ll be sure to see what kind of things are needed in the pride… I would help look after the young if it was something needed.” Seemed like a cheap way of getting out of real work, however. Playing with cubs all day? Awesome man. “I guess I should go see about getting officially situated here.”

Tibu chuckled a little bit. "I really do enjoy looking over the cubs but some times they really get on my last nerve some times." She thought for a moment before looking back at him. "I'm not really that sure of wha is needed around the pride but I'm pretty sure you can find something to do around the pride She nodded at the idea a smile was still on her face.
The lioness stretched her paws in front of her enjoying the feeling before sitting upon all four of her paws. It felt good to stretch out some and having some company for the little bit of the day her feel pretty good. "Well then. That would be a pretty good idea!" She laughed and then nodded to him. "I'm sure you'll settle in nicely, everyone is pretty friendly here." She paused for a moment before speaking agian. "If you need some company or help just find me. i'm pretty sure that you'll be able to." She nodded at the idea she was more then happy to help others around the pride, it sounded pretty fun.

He smiled. Cubs were cute. Maybe one day, he would have his own. As fun as it sounded to be one of the pride-goers to look after them all the time, he wasn’t completely sure that was the life he wanted for himself. There had to be plenty of nannies, right? Everyone wanted to look after cubs.
Maybe he could hunt for the pride- he didn’t mind hunting, even if his methods were a bit unconventional at best.
“Of course!” He hooted after a moment, “wouldn’t want to do something dumb in this place and get myself kicked out, right? Anyway, you’re supposed to go to your friends when you need something! And we’re friends, right?” He grinned at that, moving away from her slowly. In the back of his mind, he couldn’t help but feel excitement poking at him. This was his new home.

Tibu coudln't help but to laugh at his comment. "Of you won't want to get kicked out!" She shook her head before speaking again. "I'm pretty sure that you're going to fit int fine." She then grinned ear to ear. "Of course we're friends!" She laughed again nodding her head to him then flicked her hair ouf of her eyes and she watched as he started to wander away from him a large smile on her face. A new freidn was always nice to have around he pride. New friends were always good.
