"Yay~! Is it time ta go swimmin' now mommy?" the young girl asked, tugging at her mother's swimsuit cover. They had just arrived and the older woman was paying for their tickets. She had been advised to let her child run around and play, get out some of her excitement and wear herself out so she might sleep a bit better at night.

"Just about honey." Lydia replied, taking the tickets and kneeling down by her daughter to place the plastic bracelet showing they had paid around her wrist.

Abigail flapped her arms, which had floatation devices placed on them, "How 'bout now?" the girl asked quietly. She drew circles with her foot, looking down at her darling pink two piece with ruffles near the bottom that created what almost appeared to be a skirt.

To woman looked up, slightly frazzled by the fact that people were waiting in line behind her, "I'm sorry." she apologized to the person next in line.

Eliza was didn't mind the child one bit.

"Oh, I have my own! See!" Eliza beamed.

She held up Mick, her bundle of sensibliliy.

Mick crossed his arms and gave an expression sugguesting he was here against his will. The truth was he'd rather be at home coloring.

Taking his cue, Eliza put him down next to the girl child. Mick looked at the girl. There was something about her that seemed nice. He introduced himself the way he saw the guys on T.V. do it. "Hey I'm Mick." he said while wikining, failing at clicking his tounge and flailing his whole hand at her in an attempt to "shoot" his index finger at her. He tried to be cool and lean to the side (like the guys on the T.V.!) but tripped over his own two feet. He caught himself just before htting the ground.

Two things were evident. Mick was not very graceful, and Eliza had questionable tatse in television.

Lydia laughed awkwardly with a smile, "Oh, I see. He's very cute." she admitted, looking down at the child. He was much less humanoid than her own child, but that certainly wasn't a bad thing, merely surprising.

Abigail watched the boy as he attempted to be smooth. She opened her mouth, as if to say anything but then closed it, merely giggling. "I think ya need a lil practice." she said with a grin, extending a hand to help him up.

As she looked down at him she suddenly became excited, "Hey! 're you going to the waterpark too!? You've got a bracelet!" the girl pointed out, her smile widening. Her mommy didn't sound like she would be too fun at a waterpark, so she certainly hoped she might have some company.

Mick smiled and tried to play off his accident. "Yes, Yes I am." he said still smiling, with a little nod.

Eliza winked at Mick. He wasn't sure what it was about and gave a confused expression. He was still to innocent to understand things like that.

(Sorry this is so short. I couldn't think of anything else.)

Lydia had heard her daughter's excitement, "If you'd like I'm sure you two can play together." the woman suggested. It would be good for Abi to play with someone new, she seemed to love other kids after all.

"Hey yeah! Let's play mmkay?" the girl said, jumping in place as her skirt flew up and down slightly and her huge curls bounced. She grabbed the other's hand, "C'mon! Swimmin' is fun I'm sure, we can learn together! Momma, can we go yet?" the girl asked Lydia.

"If it's alright with his mother."

"Hey... er... what's yer name? I'm Abigail~" the girl asked, waiting for him to answer and ask his mom.

Eliza shook her head. "It's fine with me. It's nice to see him actually want to play with someone else for a change." She laughed a little.

Mick began to blush from Abigal's question. "I'm Mick." he said, as he looked in the other direction. He normlly wasn't this shy.

The mother looked towards Abi, giving her a slight nod, signifying simply that it was alright for them to play. She would follow of course, since it was a waterpark and could potentially be dangerous, but she wouldn't invade their playtime.

"Yay! C'mon Mick, let's go play!" she said, still taking his hand. She didn't drag him, that wouldn't be very nice at all! "Whaddya wanna do first?" she asked, turning towards him as she proposed the question.

Mick had a blank stare. He had no idea what he wanted to do at a water park. "Eh, whatever you want to do?" he said, shrugging.

He wondered why he was excited all of a sudden. Surely water couldn't couldn't cause this much anxiety.

"Well, we could go into the wave pool, or go down a slide, or go crawl around on the island in the kiddie pool, ooooor... Well, I dunno!" she giggled. She jumped a bit again, so excited. She hadn't been able to play with very many other kids lately, so she really couldn't wait to get started and have a whole bunch of fun. Plus Mick seemed pretty nice!"

Mick had no idea. He didn't normally like this sort of thing at all. He wasn't the best swimmer, his feathers took forever to dry. Oh and the sun! It was too bright!

His long list of complaints, however, did not include the people, or namely, one little Abigail.

"You seem really excited, so what do you think I'd like?"

Mick didn't so much care if she was right, but the idea that his decision would impact another was simply too much. He has trouble deciding for himself, and now there's a girl too! It was simply too much for him.

Abigail placed a finger tenderly on her lip as she thought, attempting to think of the most awesomely fun thing to do at a waterpark ever, "Ooh! Let's go down that big ol' slide there! We can do together too!" she proposed, pointing up at the large purple slide that loomed over the expanse of the park.

She could see in the distance that at the bottom of the slide before the stairs was a large stack of tubes, some of which had seats for two people! She knew they could ride together!

Clapping the girl turned quickly to Mick with a wide grin spread across her adorable face, "Ya wanna!?" Of course she wouldn't do anything the boy didn't want to, but the slide sure did sound fun.

Mick let out what was comparatively a very weak statement.

"Uh, sure?" he said weakly, unsure of it himself.

It looked big and scary. Still, hanging on for his dear life was something he had practiced on road trips, and this couldn't be too different, right? Well, he hoped anyway.

((OOC: Eliza drives as though she's escaping an avalance and traffic laws are just a sugguestion.))

Abigail jumped up and down again in excitement, "Yay! Let's go then! We wanna make sure we're not last in line!" she took his hand gently again, beginning to lead the boy towards the slide. She made sure not to go too fast, unsure of how exactly his legs worked, "What're those like?" she asked, pointing towards them as they walked along.

As they walked to the line, Mick tried to explain.

"What do you mean?" he asked. "My legs?" He didn't see anything strange about his legs.

The fact is, when you've only had one set of legs, you really have nothing to compare to. Then he realized the girl didn't have legs like his. His mother didn't have legs like his. No one else did.

"You know, I never thought about them before." He said, a little coldly. He didn't like not knowing things.

This mystery was going to bug him until he asked Eliza.

"Anyway what do those do?" he asked, pointing to her antenna-like feathers.

"Oh, okay. I gotcha." the girl said with a nod, still not fully understanding but going along with it. "I don't not like 'em. They're kinda cool, yer a birdie!" she said, stating what to some would probably have been the obvious.

The girl looked up at the top of her head as well as she could, able to see a bit of the red feathers that were placed on top. "I think they just make me look pretty!" she said, fluffing her hair. She didn't mean to be egotistical, she was just a little girl after all.

"I dunno, maybe they do somethin', but I dun know what it is yet." she pointed out. She looked at the slide that was getting ever-closer, "It looks so big!"
